They initially performed it thinking it would be their last MMA show before enlistment (but the 2020 pandemic changed ALL their plans). So, that 2019 gig was a run through of their classics from their early years to that point.
Even the small snippets of dance breaks and transition music you hear during their allotted time is all samples and remixes of their songs.

Baepsae is one of the "explanation video by DKDKTV is a must" songs. Trust me, there's a correlation between the lyrics and the hip thrust choreography. 😂 Plus the explanation includes societal concepts that they refer to in other songs as well, like the numbers RM mentioned in Dope: "Given up on 3? Given up on 5?". I highly recommend watching the dance practice and the explanation video for this one.

(Fun fact: Jin really wanted this hair colour that you liked but the stylists said no so he did it himself and it became one of the most iconic colours he's ever had. 😂 Jin is known to be quite the rebel when it comes to company rules. Him breaking the rules and/or being unpredictable even has a fandom term now: Jin Hit Entertainment (instead of Big Hit Entertainment). 😂)

I vote for Dimple and Pied Piper live in one video. I believe there is one out there with the English subtitles too. They are in black sparkly shirts and, well, just Wow! Dimple is vocal line only (Jungkook, Jin, Jimin and V), but Pied Piper is all 7 of them.

"Bapsae" aka "Crow tit" aka "Silverspoon" is another song you gotta listen to plus watch an official live performance from them. DKDKTV also has an explanation video for this song as well. You'll appreciate it even more. I saw this same medley (but in Korean) at my last BTS concert in May 2019 before the pandemic started. I'm still bummed out about their 2020 world tour being canceled due to covid. Still thankful they canceled it for health & safety reasons, of course. I had 4 tickets too...😭..you know how hard it is to get tickets to their concerts? It's like the hunger games and I'm not even exaggerating...😂😭💜

Yes! Fun fact: When they perform in Japan, they sing all their songs in Japanese and speak in Japanese as well. They have released I think 3 albums in Japanese (correct me please if I'm wrong).
it's more than 3 albums actually. @@grbapostol maybe 5 but my memory is not great either. They also released like singles in Japanese 2-3 songs on a cd but i don't count those.
Every stage I’ve seen from the Osaka concert has been amazing. I don’t know what it was, but they all were super confident and just feeling it for this whole show. They’re normally fantastic on stage, but somehow this had some special extra energy or something. I’m so glad you got to see it!
If you love V, you should watch him singing Stigma live. Also watch Jimin singing Serendipity live. Another great song by the vocal line is House of cards, live!!!

Jin purple hair is really iconic. One day, he went against his stylist just like always and he dyed his hair purple and said it failed terribly and posted a meme worthy picture of himself in funny hair but when in concert , that man showed up like some unreal entity and left everyone speechless. That's how purple hair Jin is born in borahistory 💜. He has some gorgeous looks in that purple hair, but the audacity he called a failure is just unbelievable. He even cut his own hair with kitchen scissors and absolutely slayed, but nevertheless, it's definitely a hair dresser nightmare 😂. It's just like jin. He is a spontaneous and funny , kind, and adorable guy. All the chaotic stuff in boraland ( by BTS members and Armys) it falls under jin Hit Entertainment . There is this one going meme currently in fandom is, last year Jungkook done some craziest lives, videos and ofcourse his album and made every army into delulu ×10 times because jungkook is the biggest delulu himself to ever exist. So armys kinda spoiled by him. Now armys are waiting for Jin to comeback and set everyone minds right and throw back us into jin entertainment and be a crackheads but not delulu because jin might really throw us under the bus when we go wild and propose him, he will be very realistic and reject everyone but its so funny while jungkook used to get along with Armys fantasies. I'm sure you are aware of 'yoongi marry me' , its because yoongi once sent a mass invitation to armys that he gonna leave his fourth finger empty and armys always keep spamming him to marry him😭 and our boys just tease him every single time. I just felt like sharing some of fandom memes😅.

I don't know if you realized they are actually singing all songs ( except dope)in Japanese .. it's their Japanese version. Every stage of Baepase is iconic and especially JHOPE🫠🫠 . There is this another iconic live which is DOPE×BAEPASE ×FIRE×RUN LIVE , the songs are in Korean version. Its amazing as well

I actually got to see this in Newark May 2019. I was baby ARMY and it blew me away. I am an older ARMY and I've been to tons of concerts my whole life but nothing like this. It was next level. And the diversity of people in the stadium all singing along in Korean and losing their collective minds was just amazing. I remember being very sad that I hadn't arranged to get tickets to the next night's performance as well. I didn't know Baepsae at the time either but I could tell that the song was an ARMY favorite because everybody went CRAZY!

Oh I loved this concert in Osaka Japan I watched the whole concert on TH-cam it was incredible to see even though I wasn't there in person LOL. A little side note they love V in Japan they often call it V country. I think it's sweet. But each and every one of them are loved so very much. It is so fun going back over your videos I've missed from the past. I was actually looking for the live stream you did and instead of finding it I'm finding all these ones I didn't see. I'll definitely get to that one too but I'm enjoying the journey with you here. ☺️☺️💜💜
For Baepsae (also called Silver Spoon) --Doesn't look like anyone's explained all the hip thrusts , which are actually a response to a criticism often leveled at the lower classes. Baepsae (parrotbills or crowtits) are birds with tiny little legs which are used to represent people on the bottom of the social structure while storks represent the upper classes. Baepsae are told to not to try to emulate and keep up with storks because attempting to take big steps will split them up the middle starting at the groin. In other words, stay in your place or you'll get hurt. So the guys are taking big steps, but also protecting their groins. Or maybe flexing with them, because why not? (There's one live version of this where Hobi really outdoes himself on the hip thrusts--worth seeking out.)
This is actually a classic double bind, because the storks are also telling the lower classes to try harder and stop slacking off. So the whole song, which sounds like a bop, is really pretty savage social commentary. This is typical BTS--the happy, silly-sounding songs are often the most cutting on social issues. Please check out Go Go and Am I Wrong to see some others.

The lyrics are telling young people to go ahead and live it up now because there is no way that their pitiful jobs and salaries are worth saving for the future.

BTS has many explanations videos for some of their songs as you saw with the song Idol. Barpsae has an explanation done by DKDK. You will find it interesting. The following songs have an explanation video: Spring Day by an Italian army. The mv is about a very tragic incident that occurred in 2014. Very sad and heartbreaking. Blood Sweat and Tears and I like the explanation by both XCelest and Don’t Worry I’m not afraid channel ( my preference as it’s more in-depth), Ugh by DkDk and Ddang by DKDK.

@ 12.08 I kinda see our men dragging their feet a bit after all the jumping, this was the tour Medley! right in the middle they were already quite beaten up by the first half and it was summer time! it was hot.. I miss that tour!!! though we couldn't watch livestreams of their performances in Jpn, we could watch them live with ARMYs fancams anywhere else though. 2019 was a great year, so much fun

I see several suggestions for you to watch the MMA 2019 performance, but can I suggest you react to the songs included in that performance first. It will make this iconic stage performance even more impactful. Also, I would recommend watching the English subbed version from Enjoy BTS More. The songs included are: Persona by RM (MV), Boy In Love (MV), Boy With Love (MV), Mikrokosmos (Special Clip Live from Enjoy BTS More - there’s no official MV) and Dionysus (Lyric Video from Dial6137). Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. It's funny u did not notice all of these were in Japanese. hehe. I am all about rhythm and i like the korean versions better. They are more catchy to me. They flow better for my ears. So much energy right. So fun. This is why all the younger bands who see them want to give a similar energy stage. Not sure if u ever saw Shinee stages but they give of a similar wild energy. BTS wanted to be like Shinee and learned a lot from them. It's really impressive. BTS love being on stage together. I am a Jimin bias@@lorydannagr and Suga wrecker. So i want to learn more. Finally paid attention to Jimin saying he wanted to be like Taemin from Shinee. He also loves Taeyang from Big bang and usher and MJ. But i ended up slowly looking into Taemin and than Shinee. Now i am a Taemin bias. He and Jimin look like they could be cousins. Taemin had his 1st comeback concert since military and did a 1st ever 360 stage. He performed upside down for one of his songs. 0.0 Him and Shinee also set the bar high and inspire others. Taemin is 30yo same as Suga. They actually born the same year. Taemin is a great dancer, singer and performer. Shinee are very much performers too. i like their debut song Replay. It's catchy and cute. U might like Advice from Taemin and The Rizzness since u like rap. For Shinee check out Hard MV and Juice performance video. U may like them. It's fun for me to see what BTS and other groups copied from older idols. Taemin started the looking into the camera dead on thing by the way. Before him no one was really doing it. Sometimes army who are only into BTS share info that's kinda false. Learning about Shinee i learned about BTS too.
Oh, I know Taemin. He is singing Guilty, right? I know him because Hyunjin did a few challenges with him. I think Jimin also did the Guilty challenge with Taemin. Right? 💜
