They can be defending Stray Kids as they want, but if they are nasty towards other people and fandoms…they are out. Stray Kids would never condone behaviour like this.

This was the first time they performed Run BTS live ever, it was a surprise for ARMY!..I remember waking up at 4AM to watch..they are amazing. I love them, can’t wait for 2025 💜

"Not-so-fun" fact: Jin had Epiglottitis and had to have injections in his throat leading up to the concert but he still hit those high notes spot on. 🤯
To be honest a huge amount of controversy surrounded the Busan concert. The city was either completely unprepared for an event of this magnitude or they grossly underestimated the pull of BTS. They'd first chosen an absolutely impossible venue outside the city which would honestly have been a possibly life threatening nightmare for the attendees, the infrastructure was not equipped to handle this many people and the security for both the attendees and the group was sorely lacking. Many things suggested that a lot of the choices made were due to corruption.
Big Hit actually stepped in and paid out of pocket for the needed changes to keep everybody safe and to avoid a disaster which would most likely have been put on BTS and Big Hit's shoulders even though they weren't originally the ones in charge. For a concert they gifted the local and national government!
At the time we didn't know about Jin's enlistment but they announced it the very next day which was such a power move because it ended all speculation on whether they should or shouldn't be exempt and the malicious allegations that gifting the free concert was some sort of "bribery" to keep them out of enlistment. Very well played media play from Big Hit.
Even the set list was clearly put together as a FU to those trying to use them as political pawns. They chose some of their most political songs, FU songs and personal freedom/development songs and even changed the lyrics to some parts. All this at a concert attended by powerful local and national officials and politicians. It was honestly the most inspired subtle way of taking back power and telling them they would be the ones deciding their own path. A *chef's kiss* 💋👌 worthy pushback.

Thanks for this story. My journey started shortly after. I badly broke my wrist on Christmas Eve, and I discovered as I was in pain and on drugs. They helped me keep my mind off of the pain and then I was hooked! BTS!
@@Imme_begin I found them while recuperating from the Big C. I was in a really dark place and questioning my entire life. Epiphany live *literally* saved me. I bawled my eyes out when I first heard it and I was instantly hooked.

Bts is one of those rare artists that are better live. I think it’s because of their crazy energy, their passion, and that they are obviously singing live. The breathing and other sound changes here and there add to the whole experience. The focus of the performance is also on them. I’ve seen other K-pop groups that use a lot of visual filters that mask the groups performance. Probably to give them a break or shield them from a subpar performance

“Run BTS” was my first BTS song and it started my obsession. I couldn’t take my eyes off of JK got some reason. Then I immediately watched “On Kinetic Manifesto” and my bias was solidified… hasn’t changed, won’t change. Thankfully though, I was wildly impressed by all of them, and as I got to know more about them I came to literally love all of them for their own uniqueness. How can you actually love people you’ve never met and will never meet? I’m silver Army, so they are closer to the age of my grandson’s. 😊💜

I rember watching it live on the live Stream with my Dog as my husband was away on a business trip so in the house with just myself the our elderly dog. I then saw it again months later at the Cinema.

The shriek that came out of me at 5AM when Run BTS started - let’s just say it’s a good thing my neighbors were asleep so didn’t worry for my safety. Lol Poor Jin had no voice before the concert and yet somehow pulled off this whole concert without any of us knowing. The backstage footage has Suga saying, “Why did I make that part so hard???” about Run BTS and he nailed it. I love Jimin’s head move at that part too. He just full on lets go and it’s amazing. I love the little moments they put in between the members. And the last chorus? I tear up every time - maknaes on the left, hyungs on the right, and RM, the original member and leader elevated in the middle, finishing it out. It was such a gift for them to perform that song. They didn’t have to. Even if they decided to do it, they definitely didn’t have to add really difficult choreography. And yet, for us, they did.
They are just amazing. I love them so much! 💜
Run BTS at this concert was what got me into BTS. I kept seeing the clips on Instagram and was just amazed. Then I fell into the rabbit hole.

This was the first concert I ever got to watch (it was livestreamed) as a baby ARMY when it actually dropped in real time. I was always seeing stuff as I played catch-up like you're doing on your journey. It was so exciting! It was going to air at like 4 or 5am in my timezone but I'd ordered pizza the night before and bought drinks and snacks. My sister and I took a quick nap so we wouldn't be too tired to enjoy it and we huddled up in bed with our laptop and speaker to have fun watching. It was chaos though with so many people trying to stream together and crashing all of the sites available. But we got to see parts of it at a time and it was still amazing when we got to see bits. Thank goodness they later released it in cinemas so we went to watch it in theatres and had so much fun with a room full of ARMYs. I was sitting next to the sweetest silver ARMY who seemed to be in her 60s or so and she was dancing with us and having a blast.

I still clearly remember the day this happened, I woke up super early to watch the livestream of the concert, during mic drop everything was going smoothly until run bts, the app crashed and I had to watch it illegally 😭 I mean it was understandable, there were over 49 million live viewers one Weverse alone..

Now imagine they had several just as high energy songs right after these two 😂 no slowing down for these guys. The whole concert was epic … and FREE!! I think we hit 70+million free live streams at one point (they had free live streams on 3 separate platforms but they all kept crashing 😂). I saw this twice in theaters it was epic.

First and only time RUN BTS was performed live. We didn't even know there was a choreo for it yet when they did this. It was a new song from PROOF. Crowd goes nuts when they hear the opening start.

I remember watching this concert and when after epic Mic drop, Run BTS started I was shocked, one bc "ooo you start with this?" and two bc we didn't see choreo to this song before they literally suprised us with first time performance of the song and new choreo, time stoped for everyone and wooo what a Internet chaos this was, everyone has the jaws on ground, and a lotof keyboard mashes...
Then like month later they give us dance practice 😁 and then Internet was in chaos bc of Yoongi hairs 😳😁

One thing, the screams are not necessarily related to the fact that its yoongi(which as well duh)but is because usually the screams are the loudest in the "breaks" of the songs,when less is happening, so rarely the choruses but often the second verse of songs which in bts is usually a rapline most often rapped by suga, so thats why. Its kind of like the concept of fantchant where fans will chant at given moments to not interrump the flow of the performance but compliment it. Therefore, in different performances those parts where you can hear the fans the loudest, are given to different members depending on which song it is.

BTS always outdo their own choreography. They always sound and perform amazingly well live, and having ARMY's there to add to the performance is just on another level. This performance of RUN BTS, was their first ever live performance of it. And ARMY's had no clue that it would be performed that night. RUN BTS was a new song for their PROOF anthology album. They had three new songs, plus a bunch of demos and some unofficial songs that became official. Unofficial meaning they were released with no promotions, and not on streaming sites, etc. even on the anthology album, CD number three, with the demos and some unofficial songs, were only on the CD. The only song that was streamable was For Youth, which was a new song. But CD 3 was specifically for ARMY's.
And now Run BTS has the most Spotify plays or what I was told in a different comment. 🙈💜

It's not an official MAMA video broadcast on TV, but a full-cam taken by Big Hit. I recommend this because the camera work on official MAMA is so messed up.
In this performance, Mic Drop was their 4th song, so the members were exhausted and held on with their mental strength only. And, there were even three dance breaks at this time.
I can feel all of them Even if I die, I will die on stage. The energy is crazy!

There is a very big difference between Stray Kids and BTS. They are nothing alike. Stray Kids are more like Ateez then any other group.
Exactly! Stray Kids raps are mostly happy, and give you power. They have sadder lyrics but in the slower songs. But not that sad like BTS. BTS are going way deeper. And they do it in the rap too.
The hype songs that everyone knows are mostly happy, or telling you to embrace who you truly are, or they have a beef with the ‘noise’ haters. 😂 But all the B sides are very deep. They are just not known, unfortunately. And Stray Kids are only judged by the hype songs.
And in Easy…that man is something else. 💜
I really love him in Any and Grrr, but these songs are not mentioned that much.
