Prepare for more tissues! There are no other artists who love their fandom as much as BTS. I love this guide and also the fact they mentioned that Jungkook has deep love for ARMY, he also has an ARMY tattoo on his hand, it was his first tattoo back in 2019. Now he has a whole sleeve of tattoos on his right arm like his Birth flower(lily), 0613 (13th June, the debut date of BTS), Bulletproof (BTS) and many more. Each member also have a '7' tattoo on different parts of their body!
I knew that all 7 have the 7 tattooed, but I can see the dedication and the love. This is why I became a baby Army. 💜

They went on a hiatus in late 2022 for military and in 2023 6/7 members did their solo album jin is coming this year so he will do that too and the group comeback is in 2025 .
Solo albums:
Suga : dday album, he did his solo tour past year it was amazing amd made history as well.
Rm: indigo (mono his older album). He is more like the poet of the group He has written many things for the group
Jhope : jack in the box , he performed in lalapoloza and mama2022 and won some awards i don't remember exactly what.
Jimin : face album. His song like crazy It became number one on Billboard 100 he made history as soloist a s won award as well
Jungkook: golden a full English album he's like pop boy of the group he is really famous as soloist many people wanted him to go solo not group again but he stayed with group and went to the military sooner because of the group. His song seven became n.o1on billboard and his album made a huge success for him as soloist he has that potential for becoming a huge soloist in the future.he did world cup song in 2022 too
V: layover album .he has an old soul and his songs is more jazz and calm he is unique .
Bts last album was in 2022 it was not a new album it was an anthology album and their last new album was in 2020-2021 next will be in 2025and they have only 3 English songs butter ptd and dynamite these songs were hit and big and made them more popular in US specifically and made them to win a lot of awards. They have5 times Grammy nomination now .

Sorry i wrote alot but i hope you get to know them well . Bts is 3rd gen so they had less opportunities than 4rd gen and they struggled alot to open doors for themselves and others and they got and are getting a lot of hate for just breathing unfortunately.

During their solo era, every member broke multiple records and made new records. Some of them are breaking BTS group records as well. All the members debuted in billbord 100 and 2OO, including and excluding USA . On the other hand , Jimin and Jungkook both of them are #1 hot 100 billboard artists.
BTS also did a free concert in October 2022 in a bid for the 2030 World EXPO, and it was their last concert together until at least 2025 ( the concert movie was released in threaters last year) .
There are also 4 documentaries on Disney Plus called J-Hope In the Box , Suga: Road To D-Day , Jimin Production dairy. They are about the creation of J-Hope's , Suga's , jimin's albums.
There is this ongoing Group documentary series called BTS Monuments : Beyond The Star, which is streaming from dec 20th last year. ( it's a documentary showing BTS 10 years journey in episodes with unseen clips and films from their debut until before military)
BTS also released a best-selling book called
'Beyond the story' by BTS themselves and Myeongseok Kang ( it's an autobiography)
Suga hosted a talk show called Suchwita, where he has interviewed numerous guests, including every member of BTS, who is interviewed ( suga pre-recorded with many guests before military and still releases in BangtanTv TH-cam)

In conclusion, Armys are well fed and occupied. BTS said they got many surprises further ahead. We are so grateful for them. Just a month passed without all of them they already have so much in store for us. They worked hard to keep us engaged until they came back

They did a lot of content like Run BTS and many other fun stuff as a group and as an individual...fashion shows, and global ambassadors , tv shows, youtube, and vlogs, you name it. There is this common compliment among other K-pop fans these days that , why Armys won't let other fandoms win when BTS is in hiatus. Like they always won in categories like best global fandom and such . (They say this since the army is a big fandom and might naturally win when nominated). The answer is that even though BTS is in so-called haitus, they never gave a reason for fandom to have a break without any music or content. This is why the fandom is active and keeps winning. The members always work hard and think ahead and give so much. This is no exaggeration, but even after achieving such high status, BTS might have worked 2× harder than K-pop group out there nonstop. This exactly why I believe their military might also be a good pause in their life from idol activities. ( ofcourse its extremely hard in the military, and by the way, they are working hard and doing amazing in the military as well, Jhope is early promoted to coropal, jin is promoted twice and now a sergeant, both of them are assistant drill instructors ( one of the toughest jobs, need so much mental and physical abilities to qualify for such post and they are incharge of the trainees in military and handle several platoons, they are special warriors on top of that ,where they took extreme physical tests and ofcourse was passed in flying colours) , both of them are coming back this year. Yay. Also, most of them received the best trainee awards as well , again, they needed to have certain qualities to receive those honors. BTS are not just only K-pop idols who joined in the military before, but they are now the ones who are doing exceptionally good living up to their name BTS. They are doing good because they enjoy their work, whether it's military or music. Can't wait for them to come back.

I love when ARMYs also won an award on Twitter this year as the Worst Fandom because we wouldn’t stop voting & supporting for BTS Members solo projects and other groups and artists couldn’t have the chance to win, sorry baes. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I was so lucky in November 23 to get to see Jungkook live in concert for his solo album Golden Arena Concert and the man is the most cutest thing ever and yet also so beautiful inside & out, that night felt like just hanging with your bestie or just like being in another JK Karaoke Live with him and ARMYs.
When they were in Wembley, I was living 30 mins away…and I did not know them then…I am so sad now…💜💜💜 Can you imagine? I was so close…

Tae also has a sub-group of Friends that he met while acting in Hwarang known affectionately as the Wooga Clan (translates roughly as family) which consists of actors Choi Wooshik & Park Seo Joon from Parasite & Train to Busan, Actress Yumi, Rapper Peak Boy and Minho from Shinee, he hangs out with them and they even did a In the Soop series together & recently in Nov/Dec 22 they went to Mexico together to work in a Korean restaurant called Jinny’s Kitchen which was my favourite show of the year.

There are a couple of other videos that Army normally recommend to new Army - one is The Most Beautiful life goes on (2023 updated edition) by Rice Squad... the other is by xCeleste (Rosan) Hardships 2013-2021 (little outdated now but still valuable - you'll need another roll of tissue for this one.... ) You will get many suggestions from Army - take your time , some like to react to the music in chronological order, some like to just pick a song ! There's also a number of series which show the personalities of the members like : The Rise of Bangtan (Wonderful 21 chapter series with deleted and bonus scenes created by an Army (Aneesa))... In The Soop seasons 1-4 where the group go on a staycation) Bon Voyage - season 1-4 and their own reality/game show called Run BTS..... Have fun and enjoy your journey ! 💜

Honestly, Butter might not be might favorite song by them, but I was already a fan when it came out, so I think I like it more than I normally would. And the Grammy performance of Butter was absolutely incredible.
I'll recommend Spring Day to you, because it's a song that will absolutely be BTS' legacy. We call her the queen. The song came out in 2017 and is still on Korean charts. But if you are going to react to it, I recommend to also watch a video called What You Still Don't Know About BTS Spring Day MV by Italian ARMY. With the tissues at hand. The song has a lot behind it and it's one of the historic moments in BTS' career.
Btw, getting to know Jungkook after already knowing Seven must be an interesting journey 😂. He can be an absolute chaotic menace (like when he decides to go live from his bed and falls asleep halfway though 😂), but he's the kindest person ever. We sometimes say that this is Jungkook's first life, because he still sometimes looks at the world as if he's never seen it before. On the other hand, you might be familiar with the princess Diana theory (since it apparently escaped ARMY spaces too), so that's also an option 🤣.

I got to know about BTS in Nov 2022 through Jungkook's song, Dreamers for Opening ceremony of World Cup. My perception of them have completely changed since, I only knew about Dynamite and Butter before and tbh I'm not a fan of either of these songs. They have so many songs that are really deep and thoughtful, you've already reacted to some.
I will recommend 'The Truth Untold' and 'House of Cards', there is no mv but there's a live performance

Taylor did such an amazing job on this. There are so many amazing fans who put so much time and effort into doing good things and promoting BTS. There are some toxic fans too and shippers but don't engage. Some good channels to mention are Enjoy BTS More: a lovely fan from Sweden has added english subtitles to live performances. Such a labor of love. Definitely check out her content. Boracity has created some very insightful content on a variety of BTS topics from albums to strategies. They are so well done. Bookish theories breaks down videos and lyrics highlighting meaning and symbolism for a wide variety of kpop artists including some amazing content on BTS. Xcelest has probably the most comprehensive video about the BU (BTS universe) sub storyline. DKDKTV has a lot of great explanation videos especially for songs like ddang, ugh, and deschwita.

Stray Kids will forever be my no1 because they helped me in a very very dark place in my life. So, I cannot forget the impact that they had and the change they brought. But I must say that there are songs from BTS that are now no1 for me. Amygdala from Suga is def no 1. 💜

Fun Fact: Jungkook (lovingly known as Kookie, Kook, or just "JK", by ARMY) was originally slated to remain as one of the rappers. (They started as a hip hop group so, technically, ALL of them *can* rap, it's just that some are better than others.) Anyway, J-Hope was supposed to be a vocalist once the decision came down for them to be an idol group instead of a hip hop group. However, Kook expressed that he wanted to be a vocalist so...J-Hope offered to switch with him. Which is why J-Hope "studied rap in the dorm with RM and Suga". He (J-Hope, A.K.A. "Hobi" or "Hope") neither rapped, nor sang, before joining. His main focus was dance.
P.S. ARMY is large. ARMY is powerful. ARMY loves BTS. However....there is NO bigger BTS fan than BTS themselves. Hobi headlined Lollapalooza, Jimin was there for him. D-Day (Yoongi's tour)...Jimin was there for the first part of the American leg of the tour and during the final in Seoul, ALL 6 of the others came out (to different shows) to support him. Tae has actually been in a couple of J-Hope's MV's. Jin and JK were in Yoongi's (Suga's) "Daechwita" MV. Etc. They truly do love and support each other, no matter what.

@@Nirvana99 Incorrect. Tae, even as a hip hop group, was meant to be *more* of a vocalist. The reason Kook was taking the vocal classes was because so he could switch. Once BH confirmed idol group instead of hip hop, V, JK, and Jin took the vocal lessons. Jimin was left more in limbo...neither doing vocal lessons nor rapping with the others...he learned the vocals by listening in when the vocal line had their training.

She still working on releasing another guide for ch.2. There are some other guides u can check out to learn more. I'll share them with u again. U asked about Big Hit the label BTS is under. So TXT is part of that label. They came after BTS many yrs after. They are a great group but it was hard for them to make themselves known being in BTS shadow. All very talented and growing fast now. Over BTS is an older artist a solo Lee Hyun. He has a series on here. He a good singer. Then for HYBE there is Seventeen, New Jeans, Le SSERAFIM, Enhypen, &Team(Japan branch), etc. U can Goggle the rest there's a lot of new groups that i don't know they debuted in the past 2-3 yrs. HYBE bought a lot of smaller labels and so the groups are there's. BTS made Bang PD so much money and he grew the company that it got too big for him. He stepped down as CEO and hired someone else. He is now a chairman of HYBE. He still a music producer for BTS and other groups though. He very talented. The re-structure is complicated but i think they mention it in a guide somewhere. Might not be this guide though. So Suga actually likes dancing. He was a b-boy in the early years. But after his injury he could not dance without pain. So that's why he wanted to avoid dancing. My guy spent years dealing with so much pain its just wild thinking about it. Thank god he had surgery finally and is feeling way better. But because of all that he has to do civil service 21 months in the military. UwU We miss him. And he cannot talk with us so its even more depressing, shoot.

It was part a mission of learning how to ‘self-promote’ by standing on the sidewalk trying to randomly invite people to their mini concert as well as learned from a few western artists under supervision of coolio and warren g throughout the episodes before they performed at the end of the show where they did “no more dream” and “we are bulletproof pt2” along with an ending encore to show what they’ve learned during the final episode. Since this video in May 2022, a LOT has happened.
First, in June they released an anthology album "Proof" and then announced that they would pause making music as a group and focus on solo work. This is partly because they have to do their mandatory military service for 18-21 months.
J-hope was the first to officially debut as a solo artist, releasing the album "Jack in the Box" in July and headlined in Lollapalooza later that month. The album tells a compelling story from beginning to end, with singles "More and "Arson".
They held a free concert in Busan in October, live streamed also for free all over the world.
Jin released a single "The Astronaut" in October, co-written by Coldplay and performed the song at a Coldplay stadium concert in Argentina. The two bands are very close friends. He joined the military shortly after.
RM released his album "Indigo" in December. A masterful journey through the genres, with singles "Wildflower" and "Still Life" ft. Anderson Paak.
Jimin released "Face" in March, telling about his emotional journey during the pandemic., with singles "Set Me Free Pt. 2" and "Like Crazy".
J-hope released the single "On the Street" ft. J. Cole, and joined the military shortly after.
Then Suga/Agust D released "D-Day" in April, an exploration on the theme of liberation, and then embarked on his world tour.
We are anticipating albums from V and JK later this year, and likely from Jin after his service.
Please note that before these official debuts, all members have released solo work, with all rappers releasing mixtapes and all singers releasing singles. But these past works were not officially released, meaning they were not available on Korean music platforms and not all were available on Spotify or iTunes. Most were gifts for fans, released on Soundcloud and with little to no promotion.
They plan to reconvene as a group in 2025 after they all completed their military service.

BTS started from the bottom and they've come all this way, ARMY walking up this mountain together with them... it's so inspiring to see that genuine hardwork and a love and passion for your craft can succeed and have such a spectacular impact on the world. I think of their story and how these 7 kids from all different places in South Korean came together and just worked and worked with no rewards, releasing their first album after years of training and selling 34 copies on it's first day. 2 days less of 8 years later they would release their anthology album Proof and sell 2.15 million copies on the first day... I feel so much pride to see how far they've come. I can't wait to see their synergy and bond in 2025, I'm sure it'll be stronger than ever.

6:20 Hundreds of groups debut in K-pop every year but extremely few make it more than 100 days and those are usually from the Big 3 Kpop companies. Boracity Magazine has made a great video on the music industry's (eastern and westerns') attempts to find "the next BTS" which covers a lot of the points you bring up. She also has some a amazing videos on BTS vs different entities in the music industry, like BTS vs Radio and BTS vs Spotify etc. They give you a great insight into the dynamics of the industry as a whole.
Taylor really did an amazing job on this intro. She even posted a draft, took on input from us and changed a lot accordingly however she mainly focused on the positive story of BTS but there's a darker side to their success as well. Rosan @xCeleste's video BTS Hardships 2013-2021 shows a very important part of their story and it goes a long way to explaining their uniquely close relationship with ARMY. I highly recommend it.
ARMY is actually an acronym for Adorable Representatives MC for Youth - doesn't sound quite as daunting now, does it? 😂 We really are all ages from 1 to 99, genders, faiths, nationalities, etc. We always try to portray the positive values of the group members themselves - love, respect and inclusivity - and although inevitably there are a few rotten apples in a fandom this big (approximately 15 million official fan club members and many millions more unofficial fans), if you receive any hateful comments they're most likely from antis/haters who try to discredit the fandom and BTS to deter reactions to their content. I'm just letting you know because unfortunately it's a common problem for BTS reactors and for us as well.
A few helpful tips:
- You might want to turn the volume up on the video you're reacting to. 😉
- If you want subtitles on their older songs you need to get them from the TH-cam channel 1theK. It's just as safe and legit to react to. It wasn't until later they started their current channels and they didn't bother putting subtitles on the oldest stuff.
- Since Taylor's video Vlive has been incorporated into Weverse, a platform developed by Big Hit but used by many artists and companies now. Fan club membership is not a requirement and that's where they go live now, post comments and respond directly to ARMY's posts if you're extremely lucky. 😅

At the end Britney saying that she will add some BTS songs to her Spotify playlist even though she doesn’t understand Korean, that’s exactly how BTS became popular, most of the ARMY’s didn’t understand their language, but they felt BTS’ sincerity and genuineness through their music, they talked about subjects like mental health, depression, harsh educational system and etc. Their hard work is reflected in the songs.
