This is beautiful.when i saw tht it was a real story,a thought came in my mind that it could hve been a documentary as well...but i think this story deserves both the things.lots of love to the maker❤️❤️❤️also this short film showed from the very beginning that it is about breaking the stereotypes when she took the stick for giving her husband a final goodbye.loved the visuals,the idea.it is true,when someone sitting at a higher post accept something,it becomes easier for people at lower level to accept that ❤️❤️❤️

अतिशय सुंदर ,नमन त्या स्त्रीला ,आणि तिला पाठिंबा देण्याऱ्या समाजाला
खूप सुंदर short film आहे. समाजाच्या बंधनाना झुगारून आधुनिक विचार बाळगणे आणि ते विचार स्वतःच्या कृतीतून अस्तित्वात आणणे ही खरंच खूप मोठी गोष्ट आहे. आदरानीय आजींना माझे शतशः प्रणाम.
ही film बनवणाऱ्यांचे देखील खूप खूप कौतुक आहे. कारण समाजातील अशा प्रबोधनकारी घटना शोधून त्या समाजासमोर योग्य पद्धतीने मांडणे खूप महत्वाचे आहे. अगदी सरळ, सोप्या पद्धतीने हे चित्र तुम्ही या short film च्या माध्यमातून प्रकट केले. तुमची कल्पक बुद्धी किती प्रगल्भ आहे याचा येथे अंदाज येतो.

चाळीस वर्षांपूर्वी शांता बाई यांनी दाखवलेले (तात्कालीन परिस्थितीचा विचार करून) जे धेर्य आणी चिकाटी दाखवले त्या बद्दल खरंच त्याच्याबद्दल आदर पण यावर शॉर्ट फ्लीम काढण्यारा लोकांचे हि अभिनंदन!..
सुंदर फ्लिम !...आज हि परिस्थिती बदली नाही परंतु खूप चांगला प्रयन्त अश्या विषयावर एखादी शॉर्ट फ्लिम बनवणे व आर्थिक गणित कसे बसत असेल अश्या प्रोड्युसर आणी दिकदर्शकाचे त्यानाच माहिती
सर्वच काही सरकार कडे अपेक्षेने चुकीचे आहे परंतु अश्या सामाजिक प्रश्न हाताळणाऱ्या फ्लीम (CSR activity सारख्या) काही एंटरटेनमेंट कंपन्या फायनान्स करू शकतात
असा सरपंच प्रेतेक गावाला मिळाला हवा...❤️🙌

Sir, After looking this film, i along with my family and my son went to Gadinglag. My wife's childhood friend Mrs.Patil from Gadinglag accompanied us to Smt.Shantabai Yadav house. Now Smt Shantabai Yadav is old. Due to old age she stopped her work. Now she is alone . only source of income is whatever her daughter give her and some from people who visit her. If you have time do visit her and spend at least 3to4 hours. Really it was a inspiration for us. We had invited her to Goa and faliciate her in memory of late professor Shree Narayan Katkar from Goa for her contribution to Fight against society Norms and women empowerment and women empowerment. call me 9422059350 for help.

एक एक क्षण अगदी काळजात घर करणारा..... शांताचं ते चितेला अग्नी देणं.... विहीरीवर मुलीचा हात हातात घेणं.....म्हैस भादरून मिळालेला तो हातातला पाच पैसा....पाटीलकीचा खरा वापर...आणि सर्वात सुंदर ओळ राबणा-याला देव पोटाशी धरतो....

What a story! Most moving.
The unusual step that Shanthabai took to run her home and raise her four daughters, must have required formidable courage.
To take up a barber's job , in rural India in an entirely male dominated society full of biases and taboos , so conditioned to keep women under control....this lady showed to the world, that a woman under extreme pressure, without choices to fall back on, , has to grit her teeth and take up any job for her children's sake....with dignity.
Wonderful film, underlining the matchless courage every woman possesses , and can prove it , if given the freedom to exercise it.
