Why to remap euro 5 125cc bike. More power? More torque or just it should be done.

- Am on @buymeacoffee! 🎉
You can support me by buying a some petrol to keep me going - www.buymeacoff... In this video i show why euro 5 125cc should be remapped. They are just build wrong.
Very interested in your video. All I know is that I have just returned to motorcycling after 30 years and my last bike had far more power than my new AJS Tempest 125.
Nice to have you here. So if your bike is euro 5 it is very restricted due to emission standards
How to remap pcx 125 euro 5?
I believe they run lean to allows ULEZ exemption in London.. anywhere else pointless, as I understand your only shifting fuel cut off..
what afr where you running at 11,500?
how are you checking for preignition?
I'd be interested in my benelli being mapped but what risk of bricking the ecu.
The dealership once told me they richened up the ecu so sure it is possible
They run lean to meet euro 5 emissions. There are about 20 settings altered in remap. It is runing rich now about 11-12afr but that was measured by narrow o2 sensor. There is no preignition as ignition angle is stock. All delphi mt05.2 and mt05.3 ecus can be remapped. There are single plug ecus which can not be mapped yet by my software as this is new ecus fitted in LXR/LXS lexmotos
@Vleporama yes I got ya. Benelli have been using the delphi ecu since 2019, im looking at hud ecu hacker atm got it connected and set a few parameters but my ecu uses closed loop up to 60% throttle and any rpm,, co levels can be adjusted but yes narrow band oxygen sensor is limited but useful at showing rich or lean conditions...
what air fuel was your bike targeting before?
Mine shows 14.4:1 😱 super lean... above 60% throttle its showing 940mv at the 02 sensor so super rich haha...
@@liamkenny100 did you adjusted ve map?
@Vleporama no I had to use hex editor, found co adjustment set to -13 I have set to 0 and temps dropped by 5c at WOT
my bike is pre 2019 so has athena ecu not delphi.. it is density based fueling when in open loop...
I can only tell the ecu where to aim... I have 1 map and 3 BLMs
Temp, map and tps,
These values change fueling based from -20 - +20 I guess percent depending on sensors output 🤷
exactly how my 2006 yamaha is set up,, I have co adjustment to adjust a single map.
Maya pro connected and shows co adjustment as percentage again, but hex worked just as well.
I don't have timing control...
If you use high Octane fuel you could get away with more timing, but again no knock sensor 🤔 I can imagine they set the timing low to deal with countries that have bad quality fuel.
@@liamkenny100 i got narrow band gauge fitted to my bike. It shows 11 to 10 when wot. On stock map it shows 15afr. So basing on that i changed ve map to get more fuel at top rpms and that is biggest game changer. timing in my one is 35 now and it was 37 to burn all mixture in cylinder. So 35 allows to get some unburned fuel exit chamger. I like it like it is now.
Also my bike was cutting out on hot weather now this is gone.
