4k per eye, holocake lenses, eye tracking, 100% hand tracking(no need controllers), way better Strap, thiner like AR glasses, micro OLED, 8 hour per charge useage, higher FOV, that's all we need.
Meta has nailed it with it being mainly wireless and budget friendly compared to some higher end VR headsets. For me personally I'd like to see the following; 1/4k per eye 2/OLED display 3/ little lighter in weight 4/New Strap for comfort 5/Rechargeable batteries I can't see eye tracking being a thing but if somehow they do for sure I'd love to see that too but just know the price will be higher than 500 I'd be happy to part with £700/750 for these additions. The 4s can essentially be the Q3 with the slimmer design/weight and strap
I was mostly interested in the Quest Pro 2. But it looks like they canceled that. The wish list in the video for the Quest 4 mostly is the Quest Pro 2. If they really canceled the Quest Pro 2 because of the higher cost it's unlikely it will be in the Quest 4. One important feature that still misses from this wish-list is facial (expression) recognition. So in any VR world the VR-head can show the same movements as your own face does. Pretty important. Lastly I would say these things are not so much a wish list as a list of requirements for a headset that we can truly call a third generation VR-headset.
Pricing is vital. That is the #1 consideration in my opinion. Cloud gaming is shite compared to 'real time'. Wireless/Air LINK still suffers compared to wired at the highest details. Foveated rendering is a cop out... But for now...excusable. Pancake lenses are vital, who here who has tried Quest 3 and said..."damn, I preffered those Fresnel lenses"
meta dont need to compete with Apple, they already have the market and Apple already failed with the AVP being too expensive and lacking content. All we need is an eye tracking at OPEN XR and SteamVR api level, meaning it will work with all the games, varifocal and micro OLED. Putting all of that at an affordable price is the challenge.
Not sure why you are speaking about the Quest 4 and showing an obsolete vision pro with sub-standard features and OS. Apple is so far behind that Meta users laugh at the failed attempt at mixed reality. If you gold plate dog poo... it is still worthless. Meta is the past, present and future of Mixed Reality tech, while the vision pro is just a joke that the rest of us laugh at.

pankcakes suck i hate the glare in black backgrounds'
@@TomPoe-w8b better than fresnel with their rays, distortion, and small sweet spot
and don´t forget..diopter adjustment ;)
2000$
Also higher fov not achievable with current size of microOled displays
4k per eye, micro OLED, pancake lenses, 120 high FOV, batteris high

Plus allow buyers to download anything straight from internet, we don't need controlFreak like Zuckerbot as CEO.

Light weight is all we need!
So far, eye-tracking on PSVR2 has been extremely underwhelming
display port…. That’s it .
