Yes - simply plug it in via a long usb cable - have the headset on at this point as you need to accept the connection in the headset - you’ll get a pop-up. And then it will be listed like an external drive on your pc as “quest” - click on it and then choose which folder you want to transfer files to. The photo and video screen records are stored in the oculus folder. Hope this helps
Very very good. Straight to the info, accurate, no nonsense. Can I just add that you can also tap the controllers together twice to switch to hands instantly. Not a fan of that capsule, though. I've got one and I notice the weight on one side. OK for emergencies but I'd use a third party headstrap with battery when they become available, as I'm sure you will.
Thanks for the comment, much appreciated. I didn’t know that about tapping the controllers, thanks! I’ve got the elite battery strap but I’m not sure if I’ll keep it yet as it’s so expensive. As you say there will be a lot of third party accessories out soon enough.
I tried a quest 2 for a while and I don't know if this is the same for the quest 3 but the blurring around the edges of vision and low resolution video playback on TH-cam put me off. I sold it, 2 weeks after purchase, for a loss of $100. Also the black and white pass through on the quest 2 was terrible. Very pixelated/grainy. I would only use pass through if I absolutely needed to see my surroundings for a few seconds to pick something up (for example). Also, I found that I couldn't take a sip of my drink with the headset on as the cup would collide with the headset. On top of all that there was the lense fogging (again, I don't know if this applies to the quest 3). I had to leave a small gap around the nose area to stop this happening, which lets in light and distracts from immersion.
Bought the Chromecast. Got it set up on my tv. When I open the “cast” option from the camera in the VR headset, I cannot get my TV to come up as one of the options. Any suggestions?

I probably wouldn’t regularly because the Zeiss ones contain ethanol
Thank you for the video. I purchased Meta Quest 2. I like it. But the resolution is not that great, especially when I am in the “environment”. Is the resolution in Meta Quest 3 better? Is the environment crystal clear?
It’s slightly better than the Quest 2 but definitely not crystal clear. The pass through is 10 times better but again not crystal clear.
where can i buy the capule power banks pls
Great tips, thanks for sharing! I bought the same battery pack, and it doesn't seem to work on my Quest 3, first and only VR headset I own so far. The charging status icon appears, but the percentage number doesn't increase - though seemingly drops a bit slower. This is similar with my Samsung 22U. Not enough power when the devic is on or running stuff? Any thoughts?
That’s strange - are you using a 60w usbc to usbc cable as this can make a difference if you’re not
could you send a link on your battery? I’m having a hard time finding one.
What brand and model are those battery capsules please, I'd like to know.
great tips man. also as i think you love retro like mine try amid evil. this is great retro game. also i love your amiga 500. bring back a lot of memories. 😀
Thanks man, appreciate the comment - check out inrun on the Quest - outrun throwback 👍
Where do you get the power capsules? Are they available in the US
Great stuff thx a lot.
Awesome video and put together really well
Thanks 👍
@@EatSleepVR No problem I shared it on Twitter but didn't find your username
Neat video. Definitely helps being that I'm new to this vr stuff. By the way does anybody know how incan increase the quality of the pass through video? Mine is very grainy. Or is this normal? Also, when I first used my quest 3 all the virtual images like the pop up windows were buttery smooth when they appeared in my room using pass through. A few hours later these virtual displays have become jittery. Any clue why this is happening?
Great video, very helpful, can you provide a link to the IDP app you use please. Cheers
The eye measure app on iOS and glasseson on android 👍
