So Troy, Just how long did it take to learn the fine art of McGivering the Dee-Lee-0h of a door lock on an old Chevy Camero. Oh and seriously, you need to consider that new look, it’s really you! Course, you’d probably have some real issues with the groupies. You might want to talk with Pete Harrell ( real good at doing stuff) see how he handles it, maybe you and he could do something together, I heard your history, we’d love to see something like that happen.
He also made something like explaining something like door hinges really interesting instead of being boring seriously skilled dude as are all the other craftsmen he works they all are excellent in thier choose skills absolutely love thier content 💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥
The level of knowledge, craftsmanship and attention to detail is something to behold and they way you guys explain everything you're doing is amazing. Cleetus may have brought me here but you and you're team is what will keep me subscribed for ever. Thanks for the awesome content and keep kicking ass!!!
You guys have one hell of a team. Everyone knows what and when to do their job and work together well. You guys are killing it on the builds you do. Top notch craftsmanship from everyone.
The amount of care & detail that go into your builds is top notch. Would really like to see longer form videos on the second channel explaining different tips/tricks/how-to's.
Old guys building race cars, need seats when fabricating, I can relate. I was an airframe fabricator specialist. People fall out of the sky if I screwed up, people hit the wall if you guys screw up. I always did my work as if I was going to be a passenger in the aircraft as if my life depended on my work, I’m sure you guys are fabricating your cars as if you guys would be driving them. Shortcuts are not allowed in either instance. Great job my dudes.
Really love how you are, and undoubtedly always, protect your customers wishes. Garrett is just another customer, who happens to be high profile, but you are prioritizing his "reveal" over your growing channel. It might be stating the obvious, but that is some high quality respect.
Hey Cameron not that you weren't already on the map with Justin's car but I believe this car will bring much deserve recognition to CJRC Bickel ain't got nothing over you brother
With the amount of work and detail you guys put in your cars is amazing! You guys deserve more subscribers! I can't wait to see this car flying down the track! I'm so excited! 🎉🎉🎉
Being honest I've only found your channel through cleetus.........but that doesn't mean I watch your builds because,........I watch something I enjoy! .......iam from Derbyshire UK and don't get to see these things daily! Mint content as always!👍🏻 Taylor for the mullet!.....Dan's bein mardy😂
You could 3D print that exhaust downpipe out of a titanium inconel blend quite nicely. Not cheap, but none of this is. You can then also get a much more organic shape for flow considerations within that space.
You guys inspired me to get my first tig welder. Steep learning curve, but if I could learn 5% of the knowledge of these guys I would be happy as hell.
I wish I worked at your shop when I was first starting out many years ago now. The amount of knowledge everyone has it’s amazing. It’s money can’t buy experience and great teaching/explaining.
@@ectobluntus I love it. I thought I was clever buying a cheap Tractor Supply trailer and cutting off one of the hinges and reversing it. Clearly I didn't put enough thought into it.
Lmao..freaking Troy with the joe dirt wig on like nothing to look at here!🤣🤣 Then you have Cameron pacing in the background, picking his nose, while Danny is just trying to record his part of the video thanking God that he didn't have to wear the damn wig 😂😂good stuff fellas! Freaking love it!
Man I use that Panel Bond all the time. It really is an incredible product. It's sheer strength is stronger than a weld. I guarantee you it will pull a hole in that front end before it seperates from the seam. I'm sure you'll get some guys in here giving you crap for doing it that way, but I promise you it's because they've never used it.
If only I would of been in a shop like this after fab school I probably would've stayed in the shop life... but I had a horrible shop experience my first 2 shops. Awesome to see a chill shop that flows well with eachother and shows why they are a great shop.
Hydro form the pipe. .. you can make it rounder by using water and a pressure washer. On pipes that are pie cut. We make 2 stroke pipes custom. . Try it sometime. You will be impressed with the results. It is perfectly rounded. With home pressure washer. Videos on you tube. ...
The turbo exhaust tubes are really tight. What I didn't understand at first was how they go out. Now I understand better. Waiting for to see the left one plus the car all parts together.
The quality and thought behind your shops builds are incredible. And all done by hand. This video series is better than any textbook could ever be for years to come. Thank you for sharing information for the next generation.
Unfortunately mandrel bent large tubing small radius is never tight enough..where pie cutting them is necessary…trick now is to mimic and make that side symmetrical with other side location…which boils down to the beginning how locating and how even the turbos were set in place…gud job CJRC 👍🏼
Hell yeah man, love it! I'm pretty sure I've seen 90% of all the popular "car rebuild" shows on TV, so I know the broad strokes of the process by heart at this point. These videos give me the new content and fine details I need in my life! Thank you!
I have to say that without Cleetus I probably would have never known about the great works you guys do! Thanks for such in depth videos with the explanations of the procedures that are used in making a truly custom build. Great job guys!!
Can we please have more of Troy giving tutorials- he does such a brilliant job of explaining what he's doing and it's really easy to follow. There's half a dozen great tips I never thought about on that door hinge job.
He looks like a drummer from the 1980's 😎 I'm 56 years old I used to have a mullet too💯 I GIVE IT TO HIM THAT'S AWESOME. The shot of the headers on the driver side by the turbos is absolutely beautiful. Great work 👍👍
Troy is such a bad ass he can grow a Mullet in an instant. It's like a Super Power. He should have a Super Power name like, "DesTROYer" or "HELLER OF TROY" Oh BTW, loved the shot of the shopping cart rolling by in the background. Must've been a kid in a candy store.
Every time I watch this channel I feel like I'm the new guy and everyone is training me. Except they actually do a good job of explaining everything. I also love the attention to detail even on things that will probably never be seen. The quality of these builds just seem like next level and I love it
This is becoming way more than just a build update series, there’s pretty full on tutorials on so much stuff, it’s great! having the skill and knowledge to do this work is one thing but being able to explain it so clearly is a whole other level above 👍🏻
Cutting to Troy with that fabulous mullet had me howling. That thing was worth every Penney. Get more and issue them to the full crew over at CJR's Freedom Factory Skunk Works Department. I tell y'all what Eagle is looking like a Hot Rod Magazine wet dream and I love everything about it.
I wish I could teach Taylor how to walk the cup, but I don’t know if it’s even possible with the new welding technology. Back in the day I could have welded those pipes with a beautiful snakeskin pattern and I ain’t pulling your leg
At the end when you're talking about the header size. My 1970 Volvo which has a 2L 4 cylinder. The exhaust is barely two inches. It's wild to imagine that pro line moving that much volume of air out of each cylinder!
Back in the 60's/70's we built 2 stroke expansion chambers from rolled cones. It was common practice to pound the welds of the pie cuts to smooth the transition from one to the other. The cones were rolled from a mild steel material. I don't know if the materials you are using here can be treated the same, but it's a thought.
I could literally just watch you all build stuff all day. The design and fabrication of everything is a work of art. It’s a show car/drag car. Amazing work. 💯💯
Laying out wiring tomorrow 😎. It’s getting closeee!
You know that is too much car for him and the team. they are spread to thin to keep up the maintenance this girl will need. looking great though.
My guy 💪💪 the quality of the job and the speed y'all are going I'm starting to think y'all are aliens 👽 lol good work keep it up
Will the wiring be shown here or on another channel?
@@jakemallory4239cool story know it all
Make sure you get it on video this time bud! 😅 JK love it man
Troy in the mullet wig is a sight to behold 🤣
I thought it was Danny that was gonna wear the mullet
I can believe Troy had a full blown mullet back in the day. Honestly fits him perfectly lol
He probably looked good with a mullet back in the day
I'm telling you a Marlboro jacket, aviators, and mullet goes hard. I'm from Georgia but in my opinion it's the epitome of rednecks. It's great.
HE played it well too!
Theeere's the mullet! And immediately he starts McGyver'ing components into existence. That wig is an asset, don't lose it.
😅
Troy explaining the door hinge geometry was great. Stuff most of us would learn the hard way. 👍
,….Or not,..ever.

“We Just got to Macgyver it into existence” 😂 hell yea racecar
Troy can Macgyver things better than most people could design something.
Read this 30 seconds before he said it in the video😅
The wig made me spit out my coffee. 😂
Me too, but it was a Busch light lol
Im from ns!
I like how he totally didn't acknowledge it at all.

So many Easter eggs in this video. 🤣 Troy in a wig, Cameron in the back picking his nose. 🤣 Love you guy! 😂

Just as this popped up I seen him doing it. 😂😂
It's a badass fire-breathing animal, and it's not even finished yet!!

Troy and the mullet, classic. Come on Danny, give us a giggle.
It's insane the amount of skill and wisdom these guys have building these cars. Super super impressive. You can tell Troy is an absolute wizard.

I call the pie cut which is cut of a radius a Cheater cut, as you pointed out a pie cut is cut of straight pipe, exuast looks killer
