Holy Shit. When I made that DBZ Keyblade I never thought I would see it in a video. And here I was sitting depressed and feeling bad for myself. To see that there has actually risen my spirits and made me feel better that they are using it and swinging it around.
And to see all the love in the comments for it is really appreciated. Even if the quality isn't the best (cardboard and hot glue) I have confidence issues and just this little bit of love has really given me a boost that I needed

Wow, that intro animation with Goku sparring with the two OCs was actually really cool. I don't think we've seen that playful kind of fight choreography since DB; usually you can't even tell sparring from actual life-or-death fights.
Is it just me or do the two oc look like goku and raditz's relatives...

They just mentioned/showed the keyblade at one point, but I'm not even sure if it was in the Kingdom Hearts stream itself or if it was somewhere else if they were "between" KH series.

Soul Blade did it first on the PS1. But it only happened rarely whenever there was a weapon clash.
To be fair Budokai 3 also did it with Dragon Rush.

Yeah but it's more about predicting what your opponent is going to do based on how they fight if they're going out for raw damage they're gonna be using the purple one they're trying to use supers though they go for the green one If you know that this person is somebody who's is not gonna care about supers are hasn't charged up a lot of key then you know they're gonna be going for using the purple one if they do care about building ki they'll use the green one
To be fair, a lot of fighting games pretty much work like rock paper scissors, but of course with more actual engagement for the player.
All I can think of is Lanis song at the end of his lets play
1) Recover is based on how much Ki you have, but even with max it only really works on the final chain.
2) Get behind the opponent in melee to skip the "rock-paper" part of the game. There is a trick to it vs cpu that work all the time, and once mastered, no cpu can beat you again.
That, or do the top-down ki blast trick you talked about.

Deep down in the black depths of this game, there was potential to be something great. They had some good ideas, but too many bad ideas. They also didn't care enough to polish it, because with the slow narrations and the weird cuts, it feels like it is in its alpha stage.
It was DEFINITELY rushed.. like im pretty sure this was created in less than 1 year, cause post RB2, we had a poll for this game... Im convinced 2 of the aspects i asked for in said poll made it in.
There are some features of character customization that are pretty cool like fighting style, ki and aura color, and the hair spikes up on some hairstyles, these would have been great for the Xenoverse games but they didn’t put them in, and I still don’t know why, seriously Xenoverse take notes!!!!
Still one of my biggest drawbacks with Xenoverse, they didn't even fix it in the fucking sequel, like, come on, they can't be THAT LAZY. Even DBO, the game Xenoverse is based on had a unique SSJ hairstyle for each one, male and female, and it uses the Tenkaichi Budokai 3 engine!
Let’s just hope if there is a Xenoverse 3 they learn from Xenoverse 2 and add more to the game than they did with the other one.

martijn van weele it's not really that limited at the start yeah but after you get all the stuff it's kinda *Deep* and still holds up a bit more then Xenophobia 1 and 2 ( to some degree)
B.T.A Let's plays The only think I can say UT character creator does better is your hair spikes up more. Limited to one race, less hairstyles, less than a fraction of the costumes.

It did everything right, except the most important part, which is the gameplay.
Graphics still hold up to this day(contender for best looking 3D Dragon Ball game)
Soundtrack is my favorite out of all the games

Hearing "There's no Kale, no Cauliflower", god that was a shock in a post DBS world
its only *slightly* more “””complex””” then rock & paper, knowing this will determine how quickly you’ll beat the more “difficult” 3rd of the game. now i can’t 100% remember, but:
1. i believe that if you attack from behind the opponent that allows you to “”combo”” without needing to win a the “rock and paper” thing(a bit hard, but *very* useful)
2. by choosing the direction of the combo, [right,left, up, down], you choose where you want to position yourself, ( long range, short range.. *which is useful to get into your special moves* right after a “”combo””, whether you wanna use the long range or short range special ,or, *to make it harder on the opponent so they don’t simply use a special that you really want to avoid*, whether its a long range or short range, you position both of you to a distance thats more favorable to you in whichever of those two ways)
3. if you choose heavy punches and win it, you gain lots of special energy (that allows you to do the special moves), if you choose light/quick punches and win the draw, you take away a lot of energy from the opponent.(so they can’t do any special moves on you)
if my explanation was a bit confusing don’t mind asking, im just saying it so the later portions of the game are less “frustrating” for both pf us ^-^*, due to not understanding the very small things you can do...
which i won’t blame you guys, this game doesn’t explain it self very well, and its not very fun once you get the hang of things... its difficulty relies more on unfairness in stats and you utilizing everything so that you can beat omega shenron, you kinda have to not be playing the same “rock & paper” game, cus the pc will always win more out of them, and instead kinda, go around it or try to do them as minimal as possible ...(unless you wanna just grind it all out to make it more fair, and even then its unfair and can still be very frustrating sense your still leaving it to a coin toss, one in which you need to flip heads 20 times but not flip tails 5 times)

There’s an easy way of getting behind the opponent. While in melee range, you have to dash at them as soon as they dash at you. Get the timing right and you’ll end up behind them before they can turn around
I dont know about 2 but i can confirm 1 and 3.
If possible ALWAYS use Vanishing attack combo, and then blast supers.
I also remember this fun gimmick in multi battles.
Get your hp into red zone (Intentionally or otherwise) kill the enemy with Vanishing combo.. fire ultimate at second enemy. I remember that being Such an amazing feel.

Finally been waiting for this 🍿🍿. You get new hairstyles from the training too i think i remember i had Bardocks hair and Trunks clothes without the jacket. And unlike xenoverse if you had somoeones hairstyle when you went super saiyan it actually changed to look like their super saiyan hair

Honestly it would be a 8/10 if a few things were removed.
The melee and blast ranges.
The quick time events as soon as you hit your opponent 5 times.
And plus Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Vegeta, and Gogeta should be separate characters.
Never knew you guys would ever touch this game on the channel....this going to be fun........this game was created after the Raging Blast series was over.

Ultimate Tenkaiechi's gameplay is bad, but its customization is great. And its Hero Story is pretty ok.
The super saturated blue gi with stark-white highlights makes me feel like this guy would smell like peppermint...
I like how in the intro cutscene Goku just switches clothing era while fighting hirudegarn😂
I really like how this game has damageable tearrin, the crater from that blast is still there for the whole fight and cutscene

There's more hairstyles you can find in the overworld, same with clothing.
Throwing this out there just in case it comes up because I remember actually liking the aura customization, it is possible to have differing auras for normal and super saiyan. Create a skill set with the aura you want on SSJ, exit hero mode, go to versus, select the SSJ version of your hero and equip that skill set, then exit the fight, and now whenever you play as your character, SSJ will automatically have that equipped, regardless of the aura on base form.
Also, the more energy you have, it becomes easier to recover, if you dip below "B" (super blocking range) you're pretty much fucked.
I seriously missed the skits, love that they're back.

Oh boy the most frustrating combat system of dragon ball game history. The Rock Paper Scissors felt broken as hell and the cpu can just read your mind and destroy you.
Yeah Dragon Ball GT can still totally happen. All they have to do is wish to put beerus asleep. then wish strip of everyone's memories of Gods, Super Dragon Balls, and the other universes.
Then wish the strip Goku and Vegeta of their God forms. Then wish to kill Frieza, Then wish to strip him of his Golden form and somehow make him weaker than Cell. Then wished the pilaf gang to be old again, Then wish kibito and Supreme Kai fusion again.....it can happenn...
or we could ignore all that and just make omega shenron slightly more tougher

You guys have so many fans, but you still deserve so much more views based off your subscribers, yes I know TFS Gaming videos are 30 mins to 2 hours long but still.
Fun Fact: I actually went out of my way to buy this game a few years after it came out cause I thought it was fun, and I meant just from the regular story mode. Really glad I only spent $10 now and I only beat both stories just to complete it. Never again will I play this, but I will certainly watch them suffer in the rock/paper/saiyan style this game follows.

@@supervegito2277 One of the worst things to happen to this game was having "Tenkaichi" in its name as many immediately assumed it was a sequel to the Budokai Tenkaichi series and so were expecting that gameplay. Even then, the name was apparently down to some kind of fan poll in Japan so even that wasn't entirely their fault. I still wouldn't recommend this gameplay as it is slow and luck-based but I've played worse games.
I remember playing this back in 2011-2012. Loved it as a kid then but looking back at it now it had absolutely nothing on Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Gameplay was definitely terrible as it was completely luck based and repetitive “combos”. Still has a charm to it though. I have these love-hate memories of trying to beat the Great Ape levels. Vegeta and Baby Vegeta got me so frustrated lol.
ACTUALLY This game has a deeper fighting system than you imagine and had a real wild competitive scene back in the day
I mean yeah it is rock paper Saiyan But paper has a different effect than rock if you do the one with the multiple punches it does more damage the 1 with the single punch builds up your spirit will you spirits high enough you can either super or an ultimate having more key means that you can either intercept evade or block Intercept you blast it back with your own super and if you succeed him that you get your own damage evade you Dodge block you just take it with your arms infront

but its very bad at explaining it, and im not surprise if they drop the game due to it being too frustrating.
(too frustrating if you don’t utilize the very “under explained” mechanics to get the most out of every single move
otherwise, its like having to flip heads 20 times to win but if you flip tails 5 times you loose)
I had some fun online. I love all the reactions when I used the Super Spirit Bomb. (Which in this game is a bit hard and grindy to get)

Ultimate Tenkaichi is the most asthetically pleasing game. Despite the horrible combat system, I wish that Xenoverse was based on this, minus the combat systems, I mean.
Of course, Xenoverse's battle system wasn't much better...
How about these aesthetics, Xenoverse's scope, and FighterZ's battle system? Does that sound like your dream Dragon Ball game?

No, because I suck fighting games like FighterZ. I'd LOVE to see a more refined or enhanced version of Xenoverse's fighting system, something more cinematic and less... unsatisfying. A fair amount of Xenoverse's moves don't really have a lot of OOMPH to them.
You Unlock More customization options by picking em up at random spots eventually, I played this game way too much for my own good it basically sucked part of my Soul Out, but I was my own Saiyan it was worth the super boring Rock Paper Scissors, and every combo being rng
I love this little views into the office, it's fun!
The one thing I loved about this game is the ability to change your fighting style and the charge aura

gosh i remeber when i had a group of friends playing this game on quite a competitive level like what fighting style to use,which supers are the best, and doing some cheap resets to gain meter, it was a fun time
