I had to grind up my attack and health in a battle point and fucking dodge like crazy in Frieza vs Gohan. I love Budokai 3 but it has terrible difficulty balancing.

+Rixor12 Unsure if you have actually played them, but the burst rushes are super easy to avoid/counter if you play around with the game a little bit first.

how is any form of skill involved?
You can counter teleport them if you have enough Ki, true enough the infinite Ki from being in that mode can give the AI an advantage, but it usually craps out after 3-4 counter teleports.

i usually try to stay as far away from a buu in burst mode as possible. usually keep dodging and taunting if i can get far enough away.
Literally all Uub does is burst considering he does not have is ultimate in story mode.

I've played both Dark Souls and Budokai 3.
And I both agree and disagree about your statement.
Sure, it's difficult, but not "Dark Souls times a billion".
And Dark Souls really isn't THAT hard, sure it kicks your ass in the beginning, but when you get used to it, you might end up doing a no-death run by accident on your second playthrough.
It would have been much easier if they learned how to do the ultimate super attack... this was so painful to watch
30 minutes isn't anything. I was stuck on Ornstein and Smough for 3 hours during my first playthrough. And don't get me started on fighting Four Kings with a level 1 character..
trust me the AI is hard...but they didn't play well whatsoever and dark souls isn't even hard it's mostly trial and error

This would not have been so difficult of Kaiser remembered to block, teleport, counter, vary his combos and most importantly DOOOODGE!!!

Super Buu ATE Krillen. Turned him into Chocolate! Tien was NOT turned into chocolate. But he was bitch-kicked by super buu's lower half after Buu was cut in half and he was down with a single kick. But to have come that far! Bravo!

This is arguably the hardest fight in any dragonball game, especially given he is going in a ki mastery
It was sort of a fight. He deflects one of Buu's blasts, saving Dende, then dodges another blast himself (anime only) before Tri-Beam/Kikoho-ing Buu (also anime-only), which does nothing, and then Goku shows up and cuts Buu in half (what you were thinking of), and then Buu's disembodied legs knock Tien out.
I'm pretty sure if Gan were there he'd be throwing all kinds of epithets, eventually concluding with Kaiser being called a "cunt" and then the controller would have forcibly been taken from his hand.
After watching every single classic TFS Let's Play, I'm almost certain this would be Gan's way.
***** A lot of people considered him one. I personally found him hilarious, my favourite incident having to be when he got into a legitimate argument with Taka during L4D2's No Mercy campaign.

I learned from TFS for when I played Budokai 3, made sure to actually beef up my stats and I only died 3 times before I beat Buu

Dear god, I remember this fight though, it's a bitch and a half, though, half an hour on it is a bit... Excessive. Blocks, teleports, and frankly, basic combos help quite a lot.
Still entertaining though :D Love you guys!

I hope season 4 makes reference to this. Like I'm STRONGLY hoping the Tien v Buu fight is implied to be super dragged out.

This is like 7 years late, but I find it funny how after I looked up what 'Ki' does for stats, Buu just naturally outclasses it in every way. The only thing Ki does is lower the amount of ki used for moves (At max by about 1/3), but the problem here is that Buu has like 3 more full bars than Tien at any time, which makes it so Buu charges ki far faster than Tien so even if he can conserve more, by the time he's filled up and used up all his ki, Buu's already used about 15 bars of ki for random shit.
The only advantage they have in most fights, they are completely outclassed in here.
God, that was funny as hell. I'm was so damn happy for Kaiser when he finally won! Tears of joy, man.
I am so baffled by how bad he is at this lol. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's entertaining, but JEEZ they're bad.
I know. Dragon Rush can be easily avoided by pressing A and up or down at the same time over and over again. Then you just wait till his Ki is depleted and kick his smug ass.
i mean, he invested all of his points into ki. if it was into att or whatever, it would've been a low quicker

Arts is the way to go if you want to spam Ki attacks. That apparently makes your specials more powerful. Ki, on the other hand, reduces how much Ki a skill uses.
to be fair neko did put all his level ups into ki
emilly robertson investing in ki is perfectly fine so long as you know how to dodge and teleport. It lowers the amount of ki used for any specials and for teleporting, so as long as you maintain distance, teleport when they rush, and spam specials you can easily win when investing in ki. Specially on the normal difficulty setting they are on. Most people could probably beat this setting one handed after a few playthroughs.

Why do you even have to beat this part to progress? In the show, Tien fired a Tri-Beam, got one shot and knocked unconscious.

So Goku proceeds to power up while Jiece using the scouter gives the play by play of his power level. It lasts for like 5 whole minutes

for the record, tien and krillin were able to cut gotenks buu and kid buu in half, so not only does this prove that they can kill frieza (not revival of f version), but also buu if he couldn't regenerate. Anyone else would've died.

As bad as this is, this is nothing - NOTHING - compared to gogeta Vs gotenks at the end of the second playthrough of story mode.
Both fighters are permanently fused with an infinite timer, which means infinite ki.
Sounds cool until you realise the computer is a superhuman perfect counter machine. He goes hypergauge and then will counter your counters forever until he hits you and puts you into dragon rush, it's inevitable. It's also in the world tournament, but good luck knocking him out of the ring, I'm not even sure you can do it. However he'll quite happily ring you out. Aka it's actually impossible.

I love how in the fight where Kaiser's determination really shows, that's when he wins. Lani's like,
"There's no point in getting my hopes up. Absolutely none. Nope, no, definitely not now. It's over" But Kaiser says, "No, IT'S NOT!"
And from here on out, Kaiser manages to fight Super Buu with a pixel of health left for two fucking minutes, and wins. Everyone's saying there's no chance, but he fuckin pulls it off. That is something I would expect to see in DBZ itself, with someone on the edge of death fighting till their last breath and managing to kill their opponent. Good on you Kaiser, that was awesome.

I like how, as soon as he defeats Super Buu, the other guys cheer as if he really did just save the entire world from Buu.
They cheered cause he got gud and whooped buus ass. And wouldnt cheer for a friend that beat a character that took quite awhile to defeat? I sure as hell would. Plus this is probably the first or probably the 3rd time kaiser managed to kick ass in a game despite lani and the others jokingly saying hes bad.
lol yeah reminds of when my friends and i were playing xenoverse 2 and we were trying our hardest to beat the bardock vs mira mission (most of us hadn't played xenoverse 2 before and we didn't know about battle items like energy capsules and regen capsules) and we just kept getting our asses kicked until i beat him with a Saiyan Spirit. everyone actually put their hands to the screen as if they were giving their energy and started screaming and cheering when bardock launched the attack. i think we fought mira about 30 times or so between all of us lmao.

Step 3: Merge with Kami
Step 4: Spam the absolute SHIT out of Light Grenade
