A few ideas for giant fights: - You can charge up the Y blasts longer to do more damage - Pausing the game is allowed during QTE’s, so if it’s really REALLY difficult you can cheese it out like that. - Also, giant battles are decent for grinding

Oozaru in the Xenoverse series: Easily manageable in most circumstances. Oozaru in Ultimate Tenkaichi: The video-game equivalent of Krillin trying to fight Omega Shenron.
Maann, when the second QTE prompt appeared I immediately remembered why every giant boss fight was frustrating over any shred of reason. About Ultimate Tenkaichi we remember the rock-paper-scissors, and not this load of bull. But hey, genuine TFS rage, complimented with a dose of Lani screams! It has been a while, and that's entertainment content... right?
If you train with 17 on one them you get a super called photon flash its one of highest damaging supers in the game , especially when your character gets maxed out.
Well, judging by the end of the end video, there are angles where oozaru will seemingly attack farther to one side, so staying in the middle is the only way to keep that strategy consistent
@@InsaneTestament The idea of keeping in the middle was to keep the Oozaru generally more predictable with his hits. From what I recall, when they started to move too far to the sides, it was harder to figure out where the AI would actually target.
The chance of you breaking free of their combo depends on how much ki you have charged up, using the light attack combo drains your opponents ki, the heavy attack combo increases your super bar.

I love the Knightmare designs, the way Geass works for different characters, and the characters themselves except for a few.
If you guys wanna know the cheat code to beat every giant boss it’s simple when the full combo pops up you pause the game and you see the combo and can remember it and use it to your advantage

My advice for the oozaru? When you get to the fist fighting part, STOP HITTING HIM AFTER YOU REACH 560 DAMAGE AND MOVE AWAY. Otherwise you will just leave yourself open to get smashed if he does it again.
When the great ape smashes on the left side you have to dash to the right, and then when he smashes on the right side you have to go left. You have to be quick with it, but you'll be alright if you time it right.

super late for this but am I the only one who noticed the ozaru turns his head towards where he will punch? so sometimes he would turn left, and they thinking it will go center, they get completely caught... that's why sometimes the ozaru looks to the right and they actually evade left and they miss completely

You will never understand how horrible this one screen is unless you played yourself. The orb moves at least two full orb lengths AFTER you hit the button. It took myself and friends 2 full days to pass this one part and adjust to the unresponsiveness.

To mash to recover you pick one or two of the buttons and mash the crap out of them. The number of mashes required goes down with the amount of "defensive" ki.
Guys for the Great Ape battle, HOLD the charge move then do one regular attack, it'll do more damage. For the regular battles with people and you're trying to escape the combo, mash ALL the buttons
It's that classic strategy of swing left, dodge left. It always works right up until your opponent is way faster than you, at which point face will connect with fist every time. Funny thing is, Oozarus are shockingly quick for their size...

they are gonna be LIVID when they get to the big Yellow bug monster. i don’t remember if it was required to beat the game, but if not i expect them to give up rather quickly.(its 20x harder then the Oozaru in every way..and i feel im really underselling it, we’ll have to see if they even last that long before rage quitting)

To break out of combos use both your thumbs on the buttons and press them with as much speed as your thumbs can muster. You can bypass the the rock paper trick by charging and releasing your chi at the start of the mach and keep on slapping that power attack. Good luck guys!
Guys, when you’re in the second phase of the giant ape fight just keep moving, the targeting is also delayed so if you stand still it’s more likely to hit you.
So I think I figured out how to dodge the fists. Basically it locks on to your position a second before the attack comes out, so you want to keep moving in one direction in advance to get the furthest away. If you zigzag, you'll just end up moving back to the place it's locked on to.
I could'nt wait for them to get to that last unfair qte against the oozaru, i started playing this game again because of them, and i had in a split second all those moments of salt and ragequit 5 years back. I want to see them in the second giant fight (just after the piccolo one) so bad x)

Here's a tip dodge the opposite way towards the other fist and vice versa, not the same way when the fists come down.
Also, keep moving left and right. Don't just wait for the attack.

Speeddemon105 that's the problem, the input lag makes him punch more than the combo. That's what they're complaining about.

Lani To recover you need more ki. The more ki you have, the easier it is to recover. If you have no ki, it’s almost impossible to recover.

They always intended YamYam to appear with Dumplin and Puddin but they didn't have the technology at the time.

i don’t remember if it was required to beat the game, but if not i expect them to give up rather quickly.(its 20x harder then the Oozaru in every way..and i feel im really underselling it, we’ll have to see if they even last that long before rage quitting)

You would think with all of the zenkai's he is getting that Yamyamm would be super strong.
To break out of combos use both your thumbs on the buttons and press them with as much speed as your thumbs can muster. You can bypass the the rock paper trick by charging and releasing your chi at the start of the mach and keep on slapping that power attack. Good luck guys!
Guys, when you’re in the second phase of the giant ape fight just keep moving, the targeting is also delayed so if you stand still it’s more likely to hit you.
If YAMYAMM went Oozaru could you call it... Grape Ape?
So I think I figured out how to dodge the fists. Basically it locks on to your position a second before the attack comes out, so you want to keep moving in one direction in advance to get the furthest away. If you zigzag, you'll just end up moving back to the place it's locked on to.

The Oozaru fight is so monotonous, this is the first TFS Gaming video where I turned the video up to double speed.

I could'nt wait for them to get to that last unfair qte against the oozaru, i started playing this game again because of them, and i had in a split second all those moments of salt and ragequit 5 years back.

Faster punching charcters typically use heavy, slower ones uses the rush. Once you figure that out it's easy to predict movement
