The good feature that Starfox.exe has which Sonic.exe doesn't is about the PSTD, the Starfox himself doesn't want to see its life experience again and intentionally destroys the game and the console as soon as possible.
"After that trainwreck, the game became unplayable beyond fixing. I tried to restart the Emulator but it brought me back to that mess Fox calls my "Eternal Prison" in his words. I tried a couple of times before giving up, and deleted the ROM from my computer. I was clearly confused, why a game like this just acted like if i was the responsible for the fates of the AI who played the other members of Star Fox team? I just claimed that it was just imagination, but maybe it was because i was careless. But i never meant to do anything like that." -The writter of this Story
The fact that IT DELIBERATELY GLITCHES THE ROM ITSELF is what gives me shivers. I know there's Windows-based stuff that does this (years of Vinny ROM corruption have finally paid off, lol) but for a ROM to glitch/corrupt itself on the fly is a whole new scary world to me.
Kando Wontu, if you're watching this... the background you used for the glitchy twitching Attack Carrier boss is basically the transformed Venom Surface background from Star Fox 2 (1994 Prototype.) Remove the Arwing and the screen things. And the obstacles too. Try uploading this sheet onto Spriters Resource.
Same boat in regards to playing this hack, yeah? This was awesome to play myself, I love all the scripted destruction that happens in this thing! Wonder if that screwed up Attack Carrier can be defeated for a secret ending...?

For some reason reading that made me laugh so hard

If you want to reset everything, then delete your save file.
Now we just need it done with the clearly superior Star Fox 64.
Pretty sure that it's just a visual effect
POV: Fox got PTSD about his failed mission and colleague's death at that mission
He's gonna become on that uncle who went to Vietnam, isn't he?
Honestly the glitches make it creepier, pretty cool idea!
I think this is the first time I've seen a horror ROM hack for a Star Fox game.
Thanks for playing my hack!! :D

Wait?! You made that hack?!
This is a brilliant hack, though there's some graphical and dialogue changes I'd make. I'd love to help out with that, if possible!

Dude, I thought this was made in some game engine, but never thought you'd make it an actual romhack. That's crazy! Good job, too.
This is probably the first time I've heard of a Star Fox.exe
I thinj the .exe "trope" is overdone, but sometimes it surprises me with a game like this
Ah, the glitchy, corrupted database
It's sort of these stories that you would tell but nobody else would believe you that it happened
Never expected to see a Star Fox horror rom hack, neat
Imagine entering _Out of this Dimension_ in this.

What if you win the boss fight?
*Do you feel like an Arwing pilot yet?*
Question, can you actually defeat that thing?
This would have happened if the game was not optimized well for Super Nintendo
