This has to be the best looking thumbnail I've ever seen on this video. I really like how each of the bosses are distinct from each other and how they stand out with their varying colors. First Boss in the dark ice mines: slightly blue. Dragon Boss: orangish red. T-Rex Boss: green. Andross: purple. Best thumbnail in my opinion.
Damn shame we never got another Star Fox game like this. And I still can't get over the fact that we got a big build up to a Fox vs General Scales battle...and then got denied.
The visuals still hold up pretty well and the art style and soundtrack are incredible. Rare during its prime was something else! Too bad this game had to be rushed because of Microsoft acquisition, which prevented it from having a better combat system and an actual boss fight with General Scales
Yea but it somehow still works and the story twist is fresh these days. Look I love to think the same thing, but in reality what we got was pretty good and underrated.
It never hit me till now how BRUTAL some of the deaths feel. Galdon pretty much chokes to death, King Red Eye gets stabbed through the brain, Drakor falls on freaking lava and Scales is seemingly forced to sacrifice himself.
So i had this game when I was six, now imagine a six year old seeing the RedEye King custcene and boss fight. Needless to say, this was the stuff of nightmares for me in terms of boss fights. The Test of Fear and Lightfoot strength challenge being a close second.
Lol there was absolutely no reason for them to cut out the Scales fight. That cutscene could have simply played after defeating him why the tease by letting you walk to him and the heart indicator appear over his head?
As much as I like Starfox adventures it definitely should’ve been its own game and not a starfox game. Either way I would love to see Nintendo and or rare bring this game back
As much as I would love a new Star Fox game, it doesn't seem to be likely for a _long_ time. So Nintendo has issued takedowns for ROM downloads of their games over the years, but there's two series of their's they don't seem to target: F-Zero and Star Fox. If they don't care about these IPs, then why would they bother making a new game for them? (Note: F-Zero 99 kinda counts, but it's really just the original game with online). Don't mean to sound like a shill, but if you guys want a great spiritual successor though, I recommend checking out Ex-Zodiac!

And then theres fox..looking either shocked or surprised at the bosses 😂
I loved that at the Andross fight, we all immediately knew how to use the Starfox Arwing.

I remember standing there for like thirty seconds and thinking okay did I break the game or what the heck happened 😂
We need more starfox games
We need Star Fox Assault HD
I agree.
Agreed!
I absolutely positively agree with you!
We need a remake of this

So true. My childhood
Fun fact, the dinosaur language was completely translated at the end of the manual, so that you could learn it.
This game is the one that could use a remake.
It never hit me till now how BRUTAL some of the deaths feel.
Galdon pretty much chokes to death, King Red Eye gets stabbed through the brain, Drakor falls on freaking lava and Scales is seemingly forced to sacrifice himself.
After the Andross fight, Fox must have been REALLY freaking dizzy from all the barrel rolls he did!
This game need to be brought back
I agree but a lot of rework need to be done like the story and the gameplay (the bosses can remain the same but not the final one).
@@carlosbleu7396Yes, this game was rushed, it deserves a super upgrade an additional content.
@@carlosbleu7396 General Scales should have been the final boss, for sure.
A fight against his galleon was planned but cancelled for lack of time.
they really did dinosaurs well. the size of the green trex was really good for the visual fight

I hated going through Lightfoot village as a kid it creeped me out so much
A mixture of science fiction and fantasy. And the Andross battle feels like a mixture of the SNES Star Fox and the N64 version.
“He’s got the spellstone!” Classic line.

Caused me so much anxiety as a kid.
Andross:Stop Scales you are no longer use to me
Lol there was absolutely no reason for them to cut out the Scales fight. That cutscene could have simply played after defeating him why the tease by letting you walk to him and the heart indicator appear over his head?
Never played adventure but I feel like this would be better for Zelda instead of Star Fox
Fought the red eye king yesterday. He turned around in that hallway not once but TWICE on me! How TF does it even do that!
As much as I like Starfox adventures it definitely should’ve been its own game and not a starfox game. Either way I would love to see Nintendo and or rare bring this game back
The story twist is cool now. The Andross scene is incredible in space. I love this game and I realized it’s aged well.
True it's a good game but seems very unorthodox for a star fox game
This game was so close to being a masterpiece. All the pieces were there, it just needed some more time to develop.
We need a hd remastered collection of this series of starfox
Underrated game and underrated series
King Red Eye was my favorite boss. felt like I was playing a Godzilla game.
Lol, for real. That was pretty intense my first time playing.
SUCH a great game!
Ko krazoa! General Scales!
Jamaican Andross!
5:05 Fox McCloud: Huh? Oh no.
Can't wait to see star fox assault
25:12 Andross' discretion scream
Is this emulation? Or console? It’s 16:9, and the The output resolution is phenomenal!
They need to out this in the fricking switch they could sell it for a hundred dollars I’d still buy it
Wait is there like barely any missions in this game where you're actually piloting a ship?
Yes, over 95% of this game is on foot.
Hola
¿Por favor?

I'll watch this video once you stop having ADS ever last boss fight
STAR FOX🦊🐦🐸🐇
😯😯😯
I honestly don't get why people shit on this game so much???
Mostly because of people being upset that we didn't get Dinosaur Planet.
Why did Falco leave the team?
He wanted to work alone if I remember correctly.
Your questions are answered in the "Farewell, Beloved Falco" story
