THANK YOU Jim’s family for allowing Jim to be in your precious garage space, especially in the winter months! YOU ROCK 👏 and I appreciate you so very much!!!!
I enjoy watching the inside be formed almost as much as the outside. Watching the inside is like seeing a secret cave be discovered with patterns and colors all it's own. Thank you for talking us thru and sharing.
I wouldn't have thought in a million years I would have liked orange but this color goes well with the wood. I also like the the the shape of the vase. Well done. Designer Epoxy
Good afternoon Jim. Another great creation and video. Definitely a 60/70's vibe going with this turning. Love it all. The wood and designer epoxy really come together well. Great job as usual, wouldn't expect anything else! 😎
Good morning 🌅 Jim, That is definitely beautiful piece of art, I love the hyper shift, even some of the pieces of larger logs looks like a tunnel effect, and yes, I think you can see faces in different parts of it, well worth the time and effort, good luck with your next project look forward to seeing it, a foot or not a foot, it only looks like about half inch to an inch to me on the bottom, 😂, it looks perfect, 🤩, I hope you and your family and your friends all have a great weekend, from France,
I definitely see a face! It would look beautiful in a rustic themed room for sure. You asked about which pieces were our favorites, I can't pick just one but I tend to really like the ones with blues, greens and purples the most. Thanks for a great vid!
Phenomenal piece, Jim. The wood technique is a wow! The epoxy looks like burnished copper in places and polished mahogany in others. The artist is always right and your vision and creativity are another wow!
The face looks like it should be on a totem pole or tiki! I love this piece, and the orange with the hypershift makes it look awesome! Thanks Jim and to your family for allowing you to use their garage! Designer Epoxy
Beautiful vase. I have learned a lot from your videos. Talking through steps and challenges is especially helpful. Thanks for the education. My turnings have improved dramatically through your teachings. I had not thought of turning branches "sideways". Just another challenge for me. Thanks again. Designer Epoxy.
Just started watching: HYPERSHIFT?!!! 👍👍👍 Whatever you'll do with it, it's going to be gorgeous... Edit: My favourite piece? Always the most recent one...
Yes! I always (?) add a foot to turnings. A bowl without a foot looks like it is growing of the table. I really like this busy piece...lots of great character...beautiful end product. Thank you.
OMG Jim! I didn’t think you would EVER top some of your previous art; however, in my opinion THIS IS YOUR BEST PIECE OF RESIN/EPOXY ART TO DATE! Well done! It’s PERFECT!!!!!
Designer Epoxy Jim, this is one fascinating piece! I love the colour, the hypershift, and the overall end result. That totem face is fabulous, and I like the foot (although it's totally impractical for me, with 3 kittens tearing around a warp 4!). Thanks so much for another great video.
OMGOSH this is a gorgeous piece!!! I think the foot on it looks great. I think the busyness of it gives it more character and sets it off from your other pieces. I’ve been looking at all of your pieces from before I found you and I wish I would have found you sooner!😂😂. You made some spectacular pieces previously that I definitely would have bought. Have a great weekend and I’m excited for next week. I’m excited for every Friday I should say ♥️♥️
I really like the side grain! It looks like several bowls stacked together in a vase. The orange Designer Epoxy works really well with the wood colors.
Designer epoxy and I really love this piece. The face in it is really unique lit up and unlit. It’s very unique. The color is fantastic and the walnut really stood out and I really like those small black locust branches, another beautiful piece of art.
I love the different sizes of wood in this piece. I love when you turned the wood on it's side that makes things look so neat. I would like to see some more red with hypershift or blue with hypershift projects. Designer Epoxy
Absolutely love how busy the piece is and the face that happened to show up after turning. Not my favorite color but they can't all be favorite colors! Designer epoxy is beautiful either way! Very much like this design and style of casting. Nice job Jim!
That one side does indeed look like a totem. The other side reminds me of 2 totem owl figures stacked on top of each other. I love the shape and the color. Love the warmth of this piece. That pumpkin and the hyper shift work beautifully with the wood. Great work per usual ❤.
An absolutely beautiful piece. It is very busy but the large and small branches really work. The orange along with the hyper shift from Designer Epoxy are beautiful.
this piece definitely resembles Native American carvings on both the front and back. I love the designer epoxy and hyper shift in this piece. I didn't think I would like the orange at the beginning but it really compliments this wood perfectly.I love the foot on this one. It gives the look even more of a Native American carving as it turns the piece into not just a face, but a head as the foot resembles a neck when looking at the entire piece. As Bob Ross used to say "there are no mistakes, only happy accidents".
Ok, one side with a face and on the other side, they’re 2 sleeper masks! Like the pumpkin color with the hyper shift and those little branches. Good job! 😉
Never commented before now but have followed for years. I am thourghly fascinated with your works. This one is no different. It is fabulous. Thourghly totem pole like. By the by I am 79yrs young. God bless❤
I absolutely agree about turning/not turning a flare at the top. With such a visually-interesting piece, what with the figures and the gorgeous golden-orange color, messing with the overall form would detract from the overall look, I think. This turned out super-nice!❣💥
Beautiful 🤩 It looks so different than what the thumbnail looked like. At least to me. I for one like the foot. I was so glad that your Designer Epoxy didn’t cause a thermal crack. Sorry to hear that the weather is causing some delays with the building of your new workshop. Hopefully it will be able to be finished quicker than expected. Have a blessed day.🙏🤗💗🇺🇸
This particular vase reminds me of a spirit depiction on a First Nation's Totem! Amazing how the walnut and locust looks turned on that angle with your DESIGNEREPOXY, pumpkin orange and hyper-shift.I really really like this vase Jim.
I really like how each piece you make is such a surprise from start to finish. I would have never thought there would be a face when you started. It's great.
I love it Jim. So grateful you are able to still work and post videos. I love seeing your creations. God bless you both abundantly always 🙏 ❤️ Yes Jim it has a face.
OMG!!! I absolutely love this pice!! Sweet!!!!!! Jim, thanks again for sharing your life’s journey with us! You are a joy to watch with a heart of gold! This is my favorite piece Jim! Your color theory is on point for the materials you’ve been using. Please please don’t doubt yourself, you do you, that’s what makes you special! I hope the move and build goes well, it’s an endeavor that you appear to be handling like a champ. Thanks again for sharing Jim! You’re the best! Mugs, from North Dakota….
Love the mallet! And the orange makes the wood pop!! I can see an owl on one side and a totem on the other one. This is GORGEOUS!!!! And the asymmetrical top is awesome. Love it!!! Designer Epoxy.
I like it, the busy pieces are definately a favorite. I am very eclectic, so my interest in your videos covers all of them. I haven't found one I didn't enjoy.
Spectacular!! It is amazing how the one side /view looks like part of an indigenous totem pole. The pumpkin orange wasn't as bright as I thought it would be (that's a good thing) and with the hyper shift really sets it apart. Great piece indeed.
Wow Jim, I really like that piece! Love the orange with that wood. Really gives it a natural look. Love how the grain is larger in some areas, and the branches look awesome. The mouth reminds me of a big bass! I like the foot; I find it shows off the grain right down to the bottom. A real beauty Jim!!!
Well, Jim, this is the first time we have seen you make something without the designer epoxy. We are just as impressed as when you do use it. This bowl is lovely. We've never seen the pencil line wood before. It is truly amazing. This is also the first time we have seen chatoyancy. God is such an artist. Thank you so much for your program. It has truly opened up a new world of art for us.
This is my favorite style that you do from the birds mouth top to the branches. Didn't think I'd like the orange but it turned out more burnt orange and I like it, stunning. Designer Epoxy
I love this Jim. The hyper shift is great. I like the foot rather than having it sit flat. Nice face, reminds me of somebody I went to school with. Nice job.
The wood has such character. I see an owl face and when you turn it reminds me of their golden eyes at night. The branches on the sides look like light on the feathers. The nose is the light piece in the center of the whiskey feathers. Another cool epoxy combo. Love the shape of the vase and foot. 💜
I don't turn or work much in the garage other than small projects to fix things around the house, but your informative and knowledgeable videos are mesmerizing. I have been watching for a few weeks now and find it relaxing and a tranquil way to de-stress. Thank you for the time you have taken to educate us. I did similar videos about aspects of orchid growing and showing and understand how much effort is actually taken to produce them.
THANK YOU Jim’s family for allowing Jim to be in your precious garage space, especially in the winter months! YOU ROCK 👏 and I appreciate you so very much!!!!
Thanks so much! My sister and brother-in-law are wonderful for giving me their garage! And yes, in the winter too!
Wood turners don’t make mistakes, they make smaller pieces. A very interesting and good looking project. 😅❤
Thanks. I like that!
Good one! 😅
Branches, Limbs, & Twigs…Oh my! The more the merrier. ❤
Ha ha. Thanks
Anyone else think it looks like an owl from one side? Beautiful piece.

Looks like a Polynesian tiki. Awesome. Designer Epoxy

I agree. Some of your original videos were done with branches and I have always loved the look of branches peaking out
Thank you very much!
Probably one of the coolest pieces you've done. Something about it reminds me of an owl. I think it's the colors and the shape of the top.
I can see the owl, too! Thanks!
I enjoy watching the inside be formed almost as much as the outside. Watching the inside is like seeing a secret cave be discovered with patterns and colors all it's own. Thank you for talking us thru and sharing.
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoy the process!
I wouldn't have thought in a million years I would have liked orange but this color goes well with the wood. I also like the the the shape of the vase. Well done. Designer Epoxy

This vase is very nice. The pumpkin color was a good choice.
Thanks so much!
Good afternoon Jim. Another great creation and video. Definitely a 60/70's vibe going with this turning. Love it all. The wood and designer epoxy really come together well.
Great job as usual, wouldn't expect anything else! 😎

Great piece indeed.

Well, Jim, this is the first time we have seen you make something without the designer epoxy. We are just as impressed as when you do use it. This bowl is lovely. Love Love Love this piece it is in the top 5 orange just put this piece over the moon. Great job. Love Love Love it.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it!
The orange was a great choice. I like leaving feet on my projects with a chamfer to leave a nice shadow line.
Designer epoxy
Thanks so much!
Love the "owl" face. You couldn't have planned that. LOL I like the foot on it as well. Designer epoxy is a great addition to your turning.
Thanks! The foot definitely adds something!
This is my favorite style that you do from the birds mouth top to the branches. Didn't think I'd like the orange but it turned out more burnt orange and I like it, stunning.
Designer Epoxy
Thanks! That color really pops!
I love this Jim. The hyper shift is great. I like the foot rather than having it sit flat. Nice face, reminds me of somebody I went to school with. Nice job.

Waterlux brings the beauty of the piece to another level
It sure does.
Designers Epoxy's hypershift yields such a cool effect. Love it.
It sure does! Thanks
Great project Jim! When I see that face I think of a totem pole face. Great job. Thanks and take care.
Designer Epoxy
I see it too! Thanks for watching!
The wood has such character. I see an owl face and when you turn it reminds me of their golden eyes at night. The branches on the sides look like light on the feathers. The nose is the light piece in the center of the whiskey feathers. Another cool epoxy combo. Love the shape of the vase and foot. 💜
Thank you very much!
I love the colour contrast. Looks like an owl face. Great video as always Jim, looking forward to the next one.

Thank you so much!
This is a beautiful piece Jim. I wasn’t sure what to expect but you did it again. Looks like you didn’t lose your groove in the move. 😊❤
