With these projects using left over pieces I either love them or hate them. Love these bowls. They remind me of stained glass, especially the small one. Thank you for the video.
Two wonderful bowls! Excellent medley of former projects amalgamated into one! The blue really highlights the different figures in the various woods and resins! Cool!
That bowl has both a Picasso feel with the bright colors and strong shapes, then you change direction and get a Van Gogh impressionistic feel. I love it!
OMG I love this piece. So glad you tried adding the hypershift after the vacuum pot, it is the best one yet. There is so much going on with these bowls. You need to do more like this. Designer Epoxy has saved a lot of pieces that would have ended up in the trash otherwise. Love all the different woods and globes added together. AWESOME
absolutely love this two bowl set, the blue with hypershift is perfect setting for the unique wood pieces. The larger bowl looks like an otherworldly landscape - beautiful! Designer Epoxy!
Jim, you are absolutely right. You could look at these bowls for days and still see something new the next time. The blue plus hyper shift is a good thing. I would have a hard time selling those two pieces as well. They are both stunning. ❤❤❤
Nothing like designer epoxy. Love this turn. Really love the Saphire Blue color and then when you add the hypershift, it is simply amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Totally looked like 1920's modern art, Picasso-ish. Also, looked intentional, I wouldn't think that was an upcycle/repurposed project. *FANTASTIC, JIM!* ❤ designer epoxy
Yes... it's very 'busy' but also very beautiful. The sapphire blue along with the hyper shift really gives it the kapow factor! As always, have a great weekend, but more importantly I sincerely hope that you, your family and your channel all have a wonderful 2025! Wishing you all the very best going forward 👍
Designer Epoxy Wow this is so cool. The pieces of wood seem as if they’re floating when the light is shining through the bowls. I agree that the more you look at the bowl the more you see. And to think that this was made with leftovers from previous turnings. Ahhhhhh, the epitome of recycling Jim.
I wasn't sure how much I would like these, but they turned out great. Love the colors of the Designer Epoxy, and the hypershift is, as always, amazing.
I was going to say the same thing as the person below. Right down to the eye that is looking at you. My scraps are turned into miniatures. Small pieces that you can use for everyday life. Project came out really nice Jim. First time I have seen a project break on you and you handled it nicely. As for the vacuum chuck holding the piece when the power goes out. A generator is not going to help if it is the type that is wired to the house. My Generac takes about 8 seconds to kick in. I guess a direct generator with the vacuum pump plugged into it is your best source. Love the colours in the piece. The Hyper shift stuff is great. Take care and stay safe. PS: Early Happy New Year to you and the family. All the best in the new year.
Loving the randomness. And the spheres have always been my favourites and I love the subtlety of them being embedded in the hypershift this time around.
So much to see in them both. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! I could look at these for hours an see so many things in them. It sure looked like the side top of a birds head with an eye in the big bowl. Then in the same bowl, I saw a dogs head. Wow what an imagination I have.
Was great to catch the Premiere this morning. We haven't been home on Fridays for almost a month! it was nice to sit with a cup of coffee, a few things that were bad for the arteries and watch. They looked great.
Jim, the bowls are really beautiful! Reminds me of a story in the Old Testament about Joseph and his coat of many colors. Beautiful piece that would make anyone feel special to have. Awesome work! 🤠
The bowls are beautiful and fun. Plus you can look and look 43:40 and there's more to see one scene after another. When you were turning the bowl to show us I saw a moon lit night it was perfection.
Bowls that tell stories and provoke the mind to make pictures. Bowls that showcase the incredible variety and beauty of wood grain. Extraordinary work. ❤
I always love a good way to use all my scrap pieces. I save every little corner, cut and variety of wood that I can just to do this sort of thing. Very nice looking bowl, Jim. Design or epoxy.
I love these. My favorite is the smaller one because the pieces that you pointed out remind me of wedges of fruit. I would love to see more projects like this.
Beautiful work. I love that you find new purposes for the scraps from previous projects. I enjoy your experimental approach to your artwork. Keep up the great work and content.
Jim, I am absolutely in love with this bowl set!!! I love the randomness(??? don't know if that is a real word!) of it. It is very busy, but that is the best part in my mind. I agree with You that to have just turned it in to shavings would have been an absolute crime!! I really try to reuse, recycle, etc anything and everything. I guess that comes from having my parents and their parents having gone through the Great Depression and 2 World Wars. They learned to get the absolute most out of everything.
😮❤❤❤ Jim that bowl came out so beautiful that you lost two of them, but you still have two left. The colors are amazing truly amazing and that hyper made everything just pop. I loved it. I’ll see you in the next video.😊😊😊
I absolutely love how the different woods with the designer epoxy and my favorite, HYPERSHIFT, really makes this piece come to life. So unique and beautiful!!!
Love it! You can never go wrong with blue! I love these types of pieces you can look at them for hours and discover new things. Designer epoxy is beautiful as usual. Happy New Year!
So beautifully chaotic, mesmerizing, and fascinating! It's gorgeous! I'm not a woodturner, but I can absolutely appreciate the dedication you have to your work! I love watching these kind of videos, so thank you for sharing what you love with us. Happy New Year to you and yours!
I fully expected to hate this project when I saw you chuck all the bits in together. I'm so fussy when it comes to the "random" aesthetic, I don't like any unnatural straight or curved lines, edges etc. I don't know how, but the end results are just joyous and beautiful! I keep looking at different parts thinking, "In any other piece I'd hate that, but in this piece it works perfectly there" and my brain is short circuiting! I've said it before, but I still think you are a wizard, Jim! What a magical, whimsical set, full of life and vibrancy, both bowls bring a big smile to my face! Thank you! I hope you had a lovely Christmas, wishing you and the family a safe and happy New Year, and I look forward to all the beautiful artwork you will share with us in 2025.
Jim, these bowls really evoke a Van Gogh feeling. They are just simply lovely
I totally agree… I immediately thought of “The Starry Night” when I saw the hyper-shift.
it looks more modern art to me, but i like where youre going with it too.
Or Picasso. Beautiful
Fun fact Van Gogh had some lathe experience by way of some therapy.
That was my first thought. "It looks like a Picasso" @@davidneil3811
I felt your frustration when the 2 bowls self-destructed but I was happy to see the end results. Beautiful!

Reminds me of the 70’s. Absolutely stunning and great use of “leftovers “.
That bowl has both a Picasso feel with the bright colors and strong shapes, then you change direction and get a Van Gogh impressionistic feel. I love it!
Reminds me of a kaleidoscope when it’s spinning. Loved it!
This is true, unadulterated, wild, eclectic art. An explosion of shapes and colors. 100% original! Inimitable beauty and splendor! 🙂🙃🙂
I love the busy look! Sorry, the other two split, what a bummer. Just stunny!
The colors in these are phenomenal. There is not a decor they won't go with. Designer epoxy is the bomb!
That's exactly what I do with my offcuts and resin. Fruit Bowls and large eggs. Looks Fantastic Jim😊
Your Picasso is showing! 😄 I've never been a fan of his, but I'm sure a fan of your work! I love it, Jim! It's beautiful!
That bowl is stunningly beautiful. Love it.
i absolutely love these bowls. the smaller one is just drawing me in, there is just something about it, top 5 list for me. see you next week
Looks almost like stained glass❤❤❤
It looks great. An example of modern art in your bowl. Just really a beauty. I love it!
Love scrap projects and these scraps and designer epoxy did not disappoint. Beautiful
You certainly weren’t kidding about it being busy. That said, I also love it. Awesome job as usual. Designer epoxy.
Really fantastic way to use ‘leftovers’! Never knew there were so many exotic woods…..and the colors!
WOW, another work of art. Beautiful.I love blue.
It's awesome what Designer Epoxy can turn scraps into, random patterns are so interesting. Love it!!
You have achieved true randomness! And it looks incredible.
I like the great randomness of the wood. Such character. I could so many creatures in it. 💕
Why does this give me 80s vibes in the best possible way?! Awesome piece!!!
Some of the most beautiful work I’ve seen you do in quite awhile. The randomness makes this uniquely magnificent! Love them both!
I love these bowls. I’m so glad that you use cast off pieces instead of throwing them away. 😊❤
Oh my!! I have a new favorite. It looks like a painting! It is absolutely gorgeous.❤❤
OMG I love this piece. So glad you tried adding the hypershift after the vacuum pot, it is the best one yet. There is so much going on with these bowls. You need to do more like this. There is nothing left to say that hasn’t already been said. Absolutely spectacular. Well done Jim
The bowl set is beautiful!!!! Designer Epoxy
Totally looked like 1920's modern art, Picasso-ish. Also, looked intentional, I wouldn't think that was an upcycle/repurposed project. *FANTASTIC, JIM!* ❤

These remind of those old stained glass lamp shades. I love incorporating offcuts into my projects, especially with vivid colors like this.
These bowls are stunning! I love the refurbished pieces, blue and hypershift colors! Simply beautiful!!
Jim, absolutely eye popping & 2 magnificent bowls. 🇦🇺
Branch in the small one looks like a lemon slice, I like it
Speechless! Beautiful doesn’t do these justice! ❤❤❤ I think you need to do more of these!

Wow - just wow! Your eyes can feast for days on these incredible bowls.
I absolutely love these bowls, the larger of the two is amazing, the hyper-shift is reminding me of the Northern lights, just beautiful
The bowls are beautiful. So glad you could core it. Designer Epoxy.
Love the colors
Crazy-quilt bowls! 😍😍😍 Absolutely stunning. I love the energy of this organic design.

They may be a little busy but they are absolutely beautiful. The hyper shift from Designer Epoxy really disperses well taking the extra step.
Was great to catch the Premiere this morning. We haven't been home on Fridays for almost a month! it was nice to sit with a cup of coffee, a few things that were bad for the arteries and watch. They looked great.
I love the CHAOS!! Those colours definitely pop under the finish.
Another master class in imagination and turning.
I love it right out the bucket. It looks like modern art. 😊
Great way to give scraps new life. Turned out great.
What a smorgasbord! Love them.
Designer Epoxy.

I hope you do more of these! Sorry you lost the two little ones, but the two you got are my new favorites!
Jim, stunning with all of the different words and epoxy.
Designer epoxy.
Nice choice with the blue and hyper shift. I love the contrast with all that different color wood. That thing really pops!
I love that colour of blue. Another beautiful piece.
I like woodturning projects of leftover resin and wood! 🤘🏽
This is one of my Favorites! Absolutely love the dynamics of these bowls
I really like this method and the combination of multiple colors and textures. They are a beautiful set. Designer Epoxy
Reminds me of 1970’s surrealism art, great Designer Epoxy ‘nd wood combination!
love the fact you’re recycling, it always comes out great, Jim. 😊😊
It was fun to see the remains of projects past. These bowls are beautiful Jim.

I love the colour and that you can look at each piece of wood and identify them. That's unique, for sure.
Absolutely love the pops of color. The bowls are stunning.
I always love the sapphire blue, and the hypershift is stunning in it. You have managed to create beautiful mosaic bowls from your scraps, well done.
Love it! You can never go wrong with blue! I love these types of pieces you can look at them for hours and discover new things. Designer epoxy is beautiful as usual. Happy New Year!

Beautiful serving and a salad bowl. Great job Jim.

Great job Jim once again. Designer Epoxy comes thru again.
Love the look of these bowls, has an almost stainglass look.
Gorgeous set, Jim. I love the color combinations between the woods and epoxies.
I agree very Van Goghesque! Loved this one.
Designer Epoxy.
Reminds me of a modern painting I have seen in a museum somewhere. Love the different woods you have used. The hyper shift is amazing. Thank you.

Love them! I see so many stories in those bowls. I’m glad you used the blue - and the hyper shift!
