Nice work Paul. Like you said they have their place and I will use it on small repairs like you did. I also quite like the UV primers that Standox and Cromax Pro have.
Nice! Question. I've always thought heating with a blow dryer or heat gun between coats would cause the paint to react negatively. Is this only a good practice with primer coats? Thanks!
Thanks, certain types of aerosol may react negatively. I'm only trying to apply a small amount of heat to dry it. I don't want to heat the panel too much.
Nice job as always Paul, I do use rattle can primers at times but for what I do I prefer to go over the whole panel with some 2K WoW primer. Would that repair been an ideal candidate for UV primer or don't you use it at your work place? 🤔👌👍
Thanks mate. We don't have it yet but are getting some soon. I just wondered what people think of them? I saw a video the other day and a guy used 2 aerosol can's like a wet on wet primer over a bonnet, the whole bonnet 😳 so I thought I'd give my 2 cents 😆
I do agree they have their place but a whole bonnet😨 it may have looked ok when it was done but give it a few weeks and I recon it would be totally FUBAR!! 😂

Hi Justin, thanks. We don't have uv yet but are getting some soon, I can't wait to get it.
As you say pal. Time and place for them. IT’s knowing its limits and not going too far. Lover video as always
Thanks mate I thought this would be a good video to find out people's opinions on aerosol primers.

I'm not sure if they technology has got better but I have seen them in bodyshops for years and was wondering people's opinion on them.
