@@charfree6888 plenty of ways. People can further twist your words and response to make things worse. For example, if you respond immediately, they will say it was intentional and explicitly in the offensive context they wanted it to be in. Bad publicity is not good for them. They don’t want it.

The media is also antsy to keep people glued to the situation. I have examples but I don’t want to open a can of worms. If you wait a little, people may calm down and reconsider a little. The response will be more civil.

From people who have made it to the other side of the mountain top. Was the work ethic put forth in front of you good? I can see what people mean and what she means. She did have an advantage in life and she should acknowledge that and handle it sensitively. To get where she is you have to work.
