Yes she might put in some hrs daily, do interviews etc. But she & her siblings still have the money & workforce behind them doing a lot on their behalf so they could have their sit & do nothing during the day moments. They do not know what cleaning the house whilst having a 9-5 job, helping kids with homework, cooking etc is really like. I think that is why she got people angry.

No family with money to fall back on. I worked running a 102° temp. Because, I had to pull my ass out of bed and work.. Didn't get rich. But got my kids raised. And their great men. Great dad's, and husband's. Great sons.

No doubt, they're not ALL saints & angels, it's scary some of the things that take place in Healthcare settings, BUT the point is that's not Kim's lane, Kim's lane is celebrity & socialite life, the life she lives is not the same & so her advice would be better directed at people who want to be celebrities & socialites, not the average everyday Jane.
I’m 46 yrs old I do ground maintenance for a sports facility over 200 acres there’s some days I’m on a weed eater for days at a time and that’s just a small part of what I do. There’s no way she can say get off your butts and work. What a joke to hear her say! After how she’s gotten where she is and off of being on her back for sure!!

I would absolutely love to ‘work’ all day long having my picture taken. Having people follow me around with cameras for a reality show. And then make big deals selling lip kits. Such hard work.
This is so funny to me because the way she said it was like she really wanted it to be a cool, relatable thing and the reception would be "wow, Kim K gives difficult but necessary advice for business-people, and we absolutely agree with this sentiment" lol but it totally tanked. I don't normal laugh at things like this but it's so awkward because I feel like Kim really desires to be taken seriously.

She still doesn’t understand the problem with her comment. She like a lot of other executive types think they’re “working” all the time. Being busy and having a lot of meetings and doing press and doing photoshoots is not the same as really working. You’re just busy. Tell a nurse that she doesn’t get her ass up and work when she just got off a 12 hour shift. The Kardashians are just really good at marketing and selling themselves and most of us don’t get that opportunity.

We can’t expect empathetic responses from people who lack that very thing. People who are as successful as Kim rarely ever think about the hardships that people who are struggling face. They will always find an excuse to justify their disinterest in those they seem to be “below” them. The only reason Kim felt bad about saying it is because it messed with her reputation and that’s all she and her mom cares about protecting. Unfortunately, we have a very long way to go in terms of women empowerment in America. Seems like we’re worshipping the wrong people. It’s up to us as a culture to stop putting these people on a pedestal. We made them rich & they truly couldn’t care less about anyone who made them famous.

See this video is just getting me ticked off all over again. Reminding everybody about that thing she said during that interview is bad enough but NOW we get to learn that (1) she does NOT regret what she said, she just got upset because people got so angry about it and (2) her MOTHER clearly enables that behavior and mindset by telling her “you’re not wrong HONEYYY”, basically the Kris Jenner version of “it’s not you, it’s THEM”. Like, no, the thousands of women that struggle whilst working WAY harder than Kim K has ever or will ever work were offended for a LEGITIMATE REASON! Let's see, today I spent 48 min sorting out my moms medicare, spent about 1.5 hrs trying to pay half my electricity bill so I can pay half my phone bill. Took my Aspee for our everyday drive to get him out of the house. Took out trash and recycling. Worked for a few hrs then saw this. Yes I'm livid. 2 plus hrs of my day today was taken up by being poor (money wise, I am rich in culture morals and values and understanding real life problems.) I have no blinders on that privileged people don't have problems,everyone does. You take a day being a widow with a teenage girl with MS, a young man with autism and an elderly mother all depending on you to be super mom while you have chronic fatigue and ptsd with severe anxiety from your husbands death, and I would still not trade my life for hers. Rant over, back to work.

As a small business owner, I totally agree with what Kim said. If you don't work, you don't eat is pretty much how I took it. If you have a normal 9-5 it's a lot easier to stay dedicated because you have a supervisor or manager you report to but when you run a business, it is easier to say "Hey, I'm gonna give myself this week off for whatever reason." You have to really want the vision to make it reality as a business person....on sad days, on sick days, lonely days, sleepy days, days your kids are driving you crazy, ect. It's a constant hustle and sacrifice.
Right, a "constant hussle" she knows NOTHING about given her position in life. While you gave it your all to start a business for yourself w/out most likely a cushiony net to land on if said business failed, she did NOT. They have had several businesses fail (e.g. Dash, spin-off shows, etc...) and they've never faced the level of loss that you/your average entrepreneur would face. She has the LUXURY thru NO MEANS OF HER OWN to pick & choose the business ventures she hustles for all the while always having had a TEAM of support in every area of her life. She's NOT and will NEVER BE one to speak for women in general. She can talk like that to the socialites in her circle.

But i will say i agree that people need to have drive to be successful. some of us have to strategize more than others to get to where they wanna be and that’s not always so simple. But little steps can go a long way. You don’t just jump into being a real estate agent, or a cop, or nurse, etc. without studying. When your kids are sleep or if you have a free moment you do have to find the will in yourself to sit your ass down and study or put something in regards to your goal into motion if you wanna get somewhere, thinking about it and not acting on it in anyway won’t help you to be successful.
