That is correct. Kim Billionaire Kardashian who has never had to actually work hard as us regular people know it, as many women whom have started with nothing, no connections or money, know it should not be giving ANY woman outside of her elite circle any advice on how to work hard. Because if she were to be in any of our shoes, she wouldn’t make it. She believes that her simply working hard is what got her to where she is when millions of women bust their ass everyday and can never make it to the status that she is at. It’s insulting coming from her. It’s privileged coming from her.
But yes, plenty other women, JLo for example has said “you need to work hard, work harder than everyone else” and we can appreciate that because that is a woman who had a similar upbringing as us. So she is living proof that you and I can do it with no money, no connections, just working hard. Even though, some people never do but with JLo you can say she did it with nothing. She came from low means. With Kim Kardashian- she was born into fame and money.
Also, what kind of advice is that? Everyone knows you have to work hard. There is no other choice so it was very condescending.

She's never a role model to look up to. People only like her because of her unrealistic lifestyle, mentality, and figure, and Im not sure whats there to actually aspire to. I empathized her when she had that that spiel with Kanye, but at the end of the day, they're all cut from the same cloth.

I get how her comments are offensive because even though she does work hard, most people just aren't as privileged as Kim and it would be interesting to see how Kim could cope working as hard as she does at minimum wage. I think she probably just snapped because the interviewer made light of her accomplishments and didn't take her seriously (like many other people have before) and she just wasn't in the mood for it. She knows she works hard but that not everyone else sees that in her and she just kind of lashed out. She probably feels really bad now because she's smart enough to know that not everybody is as fortunate as her. We all make mistakes and I think we should forgive and move on.

'women in business' is a very vague term. it was an opportunity for Kim to be specific with her choice of words. my question to her would be, what women? all women, or women in Hollywood? women in reality TV, or social media? whom exactly are the women you're referring to that don't want to work, and what evidence is there or what examples do you have of that? it was such a vague answer to a basic question. what i got from it is that she didn't take command of the question like she could have, to reflect an intelligent well thought out response. she's obviously not experienced enough in handling that kind of verbal interaction. the best answer would have been to say that even with all her advantages she still has honed her worth ethic to show up, be present, work hard and be positive and that has had proven results. I'm guessing that the lazy women she is referring to are wealthy privileged women like herself, who haven't expanded their wealth with hard work like she has. but she failed at articulating that and even when attempting to clarify she failed again. it's not so much that she's an asshole but more that she's not super intellectual or articulate when expressing her thoughts.
Honestly what she said was kinda true and is actually some good advice... it is literally what every parent says and maybe cuz she's a mom it influenced her tone a bit but there is not a single thing wrong about it

The problem with your statement is that alot of young vieweras idolize them and they are problematic. From the infamous tape (her claim to celeb status), to the many failed startups (some with bad quality products) to her claim now about women in business. Women in business either work hard already or do what she did and lie on their back to get to the top. The recent lawsuit brought fort by her workers claiming to not be paid is another problematic issue. If you're ok with all that fine by me but don't say that people need help and need a reality check. Truth is maybe you need the reality check and help
