There's no such thing as a "lie detector test". Polygraph tests have been completely discredited since the 70's. That's why they aren't admissible in court. They're about as true as someone reading your palm or tea leaves.

First time I ever saw a lie detector on a show where someone wears a suit. The sensors are supposed to measure heart rate, blood pressure and breathing. It also requires an impartial person conducting the test. This was clearly a sham.

If you watch the first season of The Kardashians there was one specific episode where Kim went to Kourtney mentioning that an ex was trying to expose her nudes (which was scripted for the show). Kris Jenner has proven she will do anything for the limelight, even if it means selling the soul of her own kids and it's pathetic.

I think many times it is accidentally leaked. Some of these celebrities get their phones hacked and you don't see them at the next grand outing, or sometimes for months on end, bc they're so humiliated. It often ruins their careers. It's not always on purpose.
