The Gauntlet tip is game breaking haha. You could mention the ring near ginisis in an ancrestral tomb. It boosts elemental resistances, so mages are a joke to you as a nord. Good video!
It's funny how Bethesda just never stopped for two seconds and noticed how OP the Redguard's adrenaline rush was. But funny enough that the Orc redeemed himself in Skyrim with a way better berserk.
Idk man, nord is pretty busted especially if you combo it with the atranoch sign lol. Honestly a lot of races in morrowind have some pretty busted racial traits.
20:20 I like how you mention the name of the door making an album name lol. My band actually used Cells Of Hollow Hand from the first main story dungeon as a song title
I love making custom classes and giving them really mundane names. "What characters did you guys make? I made a Nord Barbarian to smash some skulls. I made an Orc Witchhunter, sucks up all the magic cast his way and puts a sword in the mage's throat within seconds What'd you make steve? Ah, yeah. I made a Khajiit Accountant. He focuses on personality and Mercantile and when he's in a pinch he- ...Accountant?? Yeah. Well, he needed a job and his parents saved up a lot of septims to send him to business school and- ok ok ok, but you're playing an RPG in a fantasy setting and you made a Cat Accountant?"
Go to Vassir dadanat ebony mine south of balmora, its where you get the rope bridge. Go in and out and then go to vivec st olms canton with a couple of open door scrolls. Go to the haunted manor and unlock the door and speak to dram bero telling the location of the mine and get a free daedric weapon of your choice
So one thing about the Orc: Berserk is a bit of a downer compared to adrenaline Rush when you factor in the -100 Agility, BUT if you score 75% more Magic Resist through equipment (Savior's Hide + Phynaster's Ring) alongside that racial 25% Magic resistance bonus, you'll be immune to the Drain agility Debuff. Giving you a sizable Fatigue restore/buff, and incredible accuracy. I actually prefer my Orc builds with Short Blade and Spear proficiency, as well as light armor. Then just skip the POS Sword of White Woe. Grab a Devil Spear and Demon Tanto from Ra'virr's Trade house, use the mage's guild to get to Sadrith Mora, travel southwest to Tel Fyr, get Savior's Hide after running the dungeon crawl, go back to Sadrith Mora, fast travel to dagon fel, get ring of Phynaster from senim ancestral tomb southeast of Dagon Fel; go back to Sadrith Mora, guild guide to Caldera, snag Boots of Blinding Speed. Lol your way to the bank with yurv Magic Immunity, Daedric Weapons, and 200+ Speed.
a LONG LONG Time ago in 2008 i met Morrowind and i created a Nord Called Ojlok now after 14 years im comming back again, again as a warrior to play again and have fun.
Dude I doing some prep work for finally getting back into Morrowind as I completelly forgot almost all my advanced knowledge of the game. Those Morrowind videos of yours are very well structured and narrated, exactly what I needed, as I want to do Solstheim before anything else in the maingame or Tribunal...its gonna be so painful. Wish someone would have explained things to me in school like that. But then again, why would teachers tell me anything about TES III.
In OpenMW, The Lady doesn't raise your health maximum health pool because of the way OMW changes the way it handles Constant Magic Effects. In the Vanilla engine, Fortifying bonuses to attributes and skills would be added to the Base value. The negatives of this is that you can not continue to train your attributes and skills when they reached 100 or more. You would have to wait until your fortifying bonus effect wore off before you could level your skills or attributes any further. So you can see this is a good thing because you can still continue to train your skills even if you have a fortifying effect that brings that skill past 100. This however also effects The Lady birthsign Fortify effects. Since in OpenMW, fortify endurance no longer effects the base endurance value, you do not receive a health pool bonus with the Birthsign any longer. On the positive side, you can level your character a little further now because your base attributes remain the same, your endurance and personality will no longer cap and 100 but cap out at 125. Now, if you do not like this change, thankfully you can install a mod that will make the birthsigns be handled like the Vanilla engine handles them. - Vanilla Birthsigns for OpenMW by Klorax: www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46033
i wish they find way u still gain heath like vanilla but still work as magic effects having 12 health per lvl would be dope or add u get 2 extra health per lvl on lady as extra bonus
Preparing for a Morrowind playthrough and discovered your channel. Good stuff! Think I'm gonna go with your warrior build. I'd love to see a comprehensive guide on Morrowind's factions as they seem to be more in-depth than in other Elder Scrolls games. Keep up the great work ❤😉
So, one thing I like doing is boosting my endurance early game, and those gauntlets are perfect for it. I made a red guard with I believe the lover stone for +25 agility, and the gauntlets giving him an agility of 95 by level 1. In addition to a long sword skill of like 50 he was landing pretty much all of his attacks no problem. One thing I do on all of my characters eventually is create an enchanted item that provides 100 fortify attack making all of their attacks hit 100% of the time.
Ilunibi is empty of leveled enemies until you reach level 3, and Dagoth Gares doesn't appear until you're on the related quest. I just learned that, can't believe that loot was free game so early!
When in Seyda Neen, I like to take the key to the Customs warehouse, it’s in the room with the guy who gives you your orders. You can use the lime ware trick to get the key, then you can get a couple thousand gold in loot from the warehouse
@@CoffeeNutGaming there is a ring a little to the north east of Seyda Neen on the coast. It’s in an ancestral tomb, and is enchanted ton constantly fortiynboth intelligence and willpower by 10 and can be sold for 8k septims
I would personally go for Endurance and Agility at character creation. You get better hit and dodge rate. Losing the carry weight is a pain but manageable.
I picked up Morrowind yesterday and I had to choose warrior because I was getting destroyed as a altmer mage. So I appreciate being able to play the game rather than die over and over not knowing how cast a spell successfully
Playing mage for the first few levels is a chore. Then you turn into a flying, fireball throwing, atribute stealing god. Weird how morrowind works. Give mages a try in future. Mages guild and house telvani have some of the most ridiculous quests, very fun
altmer mage is a pain for a newbie, because is really high sensibility to... magic! :D the savior's hide correct partly this flaw, but not out... so... maybe a playstyle based on absorbtion spells can be a bit better... if you are new to Morrowind, and you want to play mage with a chance for succes, try dark elf or breton. leave altmer for that phase when "Morrowind is too easy as mage!" :D
@@miftosaurus it is. I actually completed the game way back and honestly, I rage quit 🤣 but I started getting better at it and now it's easy for me to control and play as the altmer :D
Definitely the easy way to get started in morrowind . Lots of people get frustrated with the slow start . I used to be like that too , but just went back to morrowind with a different frame of mind . I feel like the slow start is actually really immersive and really makes it feel like an RPG , definitely not the easy way , most people would get bored within a few hours probably but like I said , you need to go into it with the right frame of mind
This is a good start for any build if you feel like min-maxing. Spellcasting can all be leveled up later, but HP from levels doesn't improve retroactively with increased endurance, so pumping endurance early is always a good option. Nord resistances also scale really well into the late game - they're not just early game powerhouses like the other warrior races.
I play Warrior in every TES game cause the Warrior is the best ass kicker, in this game I upgraded hand to hand skill first and then upgraded long blade skill, the heavy armor is the only armor ever used by me Youre doing very well just owning this game though, keep it up
You can just stand behind the pillar next to the bed (blind spot) and jump to get the sword of white woe. Also there is another in Suran but i think it under the bed instead of on top of the dresser.
You can get the Sword of White Woe much easier by just standing behind the pillar, crouch to see if you're of his line of sight, then jump and open inventory hover over the sword most likely the point of the blade to grab it make sure to quicksave just in case.
Strength Endurance and Agility would be the three I would focus on for pure warrior. Agility will help boost your hit and dodge chance. Can't kill an enemy you can't hit!
14:30 Actually instead of grabbing and paying fine, you can just stand near wooden pillar that is located just in front of this wardrobe where white woe is. Then, just hide and sneak to check whether he sees you or not. Afterwards, pick it up and boom! You got it just without any attention drawn.
16:57 I go to the boat to travel however buddy only has Hla Oad, Ebonheart, molag mar, and tel branora to travel to. Could’ve sworn I went to the right boat though. Anyone steer me in the right direction?
Omg as a newbie on this game (had it 10 years ago but never played) I loved the beginning but the part where you show us where the entrance to the cave is is very misleading, I looked around the point for an hour before looking at another video showing me exactly where it was in 10 seconds... and the skipping around in the cave just gives me a headache 😅 I'm just gonna go through on intuition as I should... ugh. BUT altogether, thank you very much for getting me started!
I didn't want to watch these at first because spoilers plus I wanted to actuate my game myself, and I did, I made four characters myself, one is a mess but the other three are really solid characters and I'm loving them. My latest and possibly my best is a Breton male, Lady sign, custom class with Medium Armor, Block, Blunt Weapon, Alteration, Restoration in major skills and Illusion, Conjuration, Heavy Armor, Armorer, Mysticism in minor skills, and Endurance and Willpower. If you haven't figured it out it's a defense-focused paladin with a shield, I bind a mace to reduce carry weight so I can have my shield and medium or heavy armor, I cast exclusively defensive spells besides stuff like healing, Night Eye, and binding a mace, so magic is 90% casting buffs to reduce all the different types of damage and make me harder to hit, plus buff my stats. I made the character to do Imperial Cult quests, I'm level 3 right now, and I can't hit hard at all but it doesn't matter since nothing can touch me. The Addamasartus spellcaster ran out of magic fighting me, and didn't do much better in melee against my shield and reduced chance to be hit. It's a stark contrast to my glass cannon mage and my Redguard Spy who jumps around the room throwing knives and darts and then casts Lover's Kiss and spams dagger.
since we spec into medium armor, would we ever switch from the gauntlets that are heavy cuz of the enchants to medium or does it not matter to much late game?
Tried grabbing the sword from guard tower for like half an hour now, its just not working for me, the guard immediatly runs back upstairs after i pay him gold, theres not the slightest chance of me being in front of him, like how are you so damn fast? Edit: tried the method you mentioned in another comment using the pillar for blocking sight while jumping and grabbing the sword. worked first try lol
Go to the dren plantation slave houses and kill the NPC with the daedric Dai katana. Everytime. But I steel the ebony shorts word from Balmora guard tower first always.
Gotta mention my two favorite constant effect melee rings. Ring of the Wind- Fortify Agility 30 pts Marara's Ring- Reflect 20% Fortify Acrobatics 10 pts Resist Normal Weapons 40%
Another strat you can try is to stand over by the bunk beds and put the pillar in the room between you and the guards line of sight, it should block you completely in the right place. Then, levitate or jump (levitating would be easier) and you'll be able to see the sword on top of the wardrobe and grab it without the guard seeing you.
is dagger a terrible choice for the melee str+end warrior? like low spread lets new players (like myself) spam attacks and not think of charging them. also pls make a guide how to go for a warrior with bound weapons. thanks.
so bound dagger comes with a conjuration major skill. and i am getting it every time despite being a luck+end orc. meaning the bound weapon part is kinda solved
Conjeratipn will always come with a shortblade and if high enough a summon. But short blade is a terrible choice because they shouldnt be used for high combat playstyles. They have low durability, low damage, low range, and no spaming attacks with daggers isnt good unless they have a powerfull enchant. They do little damage and are outclassed by everyother type of weapon. Swords are the best for starting players.
@@alexdodd5175plus a conjeration warrior is easy. Just spec into everything a heavy warrior should. Heavy armor, block, long blade. Or you can do heavy armor and axe/spear (summoned swords are the only bound weapons that can be used with sheilds)
Should have goen for that Dragon Bone armor.. 100% immunity to fire mixes well with the Nord 100% immunity to frost.. tack on a particular ring (left unguarded in a tomb outside Auld Ruhn for an additional 30% to resist Shock and you're at 100% Frost / 100% Fire / 80% Shock resist from just two items and your Nord race. Very tanky.
Loving these builds and the tips to start! Looking forward to the spellblade build ! When I play games like this, I love to join as many guilds as I can.
I keep getting hit by Morrowind videos in my recommends and it's making me want to load up and start modding it. But usually when I get that urge I'm far better off doing it with Skyrim, and usually do when a lot of the RNG of early game reminds me of how Morrowind used to be. Granted I still love the game, the quests are really great, and I hate how much we lost along the way to get to Skyrim; but boy does it really play better most times.
@CoffeeNutGaming at the balmora tower the sword of white woe, I remember getting it by just standing next to the pillar by the bed so that the guard wont see me and jump grab it right in front of the guard xD ah the good times :) I always checked with sneak that im not in line of sight and in few tries the sword got yoinked :D
Seems no matter what I do my character isn't fast enough to grab the sword before the guard returns. I resorted to standing on the other side of the pillar and jumping to grab it.
How the heck do I leave illunibi? Why u just cut that part out it looks like exit is above a waterfall thing and I can't reach it and I'm only lvl 1 so I don't have any levitate spells
... shuper shexy!... Redguard, long blade spec, ofc, and medium armor spec, too... Sword of White Woe is a breeze, that incomplete orc armor, too, the gauntlets, purrrrfect, and... because i don't get a scroll of divine or almsivi intervention, AND i taken the wrong... boat, ended in Ebonheart, and paid a visit in the Glass Jinkblade cave. level 1, ofc... and Acilius was a breeze, and what he's wearing is SHUPER SHEXY!!! :D not sure if i broke the quest for his demise, but anyway... i'd like to find the other pieces of orcish armor, without paying a dime, but looks like i need to buy some... anyway, the visit to Ilunibi is a good idea, and in that cave, same, even if you want just the jinkblade. killing Acilius and looting him is just a bonus, a non-mandatory one! but if you play with heavy armor spec, he's wearing a complete imperial armor, minus head. and a very interesting imperial heavy chest! :D
So I got half way though the main quest ( just got 1 of the tribes to recognize me) and finally got the BOBS with my speed already at 100 I enjoy Morrowind in 2-3 minutes real time I can run from balmora to red mountain or fly with levitating and a amulet of invisibility constantly on have two you hot key each to different and you have invisibility whenever you want. can disengage combat when ever you want with a press of a button. It gets kinda boring in some areas and in others life saving
I have never played morrowind before but im starting a playthrough on my series x (i know its not the best) but im making a redguard and following this guide. Thanks for helping
For Anyone new do everything you can possible in character creation to get the highest endurance possible so by late game you gain the most ,health as possible . if you don't choice every option for endurance by character creation you can still have high health however you won't be able to gain the max possible because adding perk points with each level doesn't work retroactively toward the Max
Can be useful if you remember to use it, which is the key. I swap it in and out on my warriors. It's a good way to level strength, but there are also tons of NPCs that can fix your equipment, so it isn't necessary if you want to take another skill in its place.
Orc Male is best because they are fastest. Berserk is way better than adrenaline rush because you can resist the drain agility portion. Orcs have 25% resist magic, so you only take -75 agility at level 1. With curiass of the savior's hide, that becomes 85%, so you take -15 agility when you berserk. You're probably building a spell for +100% resist for boots of blinding speed anywyas, you can do the same before you berserk and resist the negative component.
Why do you keep calling Arrille 'Arley'? Is that some kind of meme? Pretty sure he's pronounced 'Ar-ri(i)ll' or even 'Ar-ree(-uh)' if you wanted to go all French like the spelling suggests.

I use orc's racial to train my weapon skills because u never miss while active, even on ranged weapons c:
🔥🔥wonderful. I just made the character with this video and that’s really cool
Thank you Coffee My Hero
I do it for the people 🙇♂️
Your videos tell me to play Morrowind but then I hear the wind waker music in the background.
since we spec into medium armor, would we ever switch from the gauntlets that are heavy cuz of the enchants to medium or does it not matter to much late game?
Tried grabbing the sword from guard tower for like half an hour now, its just not working for me, the guard immediatly runs back upstairs after i pay him gold, theres not the slightest chance of me being in front of him, like how are you so damn fast?
Edit: tried the method you mentioned in another comment using the pillar for blocking sight while jumping and grabbing the sword. worked first try lol
Go to the dren plantation slave houses and kill the NPC with the daedric Dai katana. Everytime. But I steel the ebony shorts word from Balmora guard tower first always.
I just wanna play a lion o khajit warrior build but nervous for my first playthrough
Try the drop method where you just pick it up and and go into your inventory real quick and drop it
Helpful guide! Thank you
Morrowind, a name strong enough to strike fear into the hearts of elder scrolls fans
Until you found out you have fallen on a dagger?
Really enjoying your work. Thank you.
🙃☕❤❤❤❤
I choose blunt weapons as one of my major skills cause of volendrung being my favourite weapon
Alcest and Morrowind... Love the combo :)
Idk if im doing something wrong but i got the axe and everything and couldnt damage a single person in the cave with the gauntlets.
And if you want an aquatic poison dragoon, go Reptilian. 🐊
I do have a soft spot in my heart for the lizard folk!
Gotta mention my two favorite constant effect melee rings.
Ring of the Wind-
Fortify Agility 30 pts
Marara's Ring-
Reflect 20%
Fortify Acrobatics 10 pts
Resist Normal Weapons 40%
can't get that sword no matter what I do. the guard hugs the wall and there's no way I can get around him to grab the sword in time. very frustrating.
@@CoffeeNutGaming thank you! I'll give that a shot next time I play :) appreciate the quick response
@@CoffeeNutGaming just wanted to let ya know I just got around to trying this today, and it worked great :) thank you!
is dagger a terrible choice for the melee str+end warrior? like low spread lets new players (like myself) spam attacks and not think of charging them.
also pls make a guide how to go for a warrior with bound weapons.
thanks.
so bound dagger comes with a conjuration major skill. and i am getting it every time despite being a luck+end orc. meaning the bound weapon part is kinda solved
7:15 Post Malone is HUGE in Vvardenfell
I keep getting hit by Morrowind videos in my recommends and it's making me want to load up and start modding it. But usually when I get that urge I'm far better off doing it with Skyrim, and usually do when a lot of the RNG of early game reminds me of how Morrowind used to be.
Granted I still love the game, the quests are really great, and I hate how much we lost along the way to get to Skyrim; but boy does it really play better most times.
Hey new to the channel. This is the one game I have a lot of anxiety starting due to how different it is from the other main line games. Any tips?
What if my warrior detests thievery?
Found out the hard way how much Morrowind Rebirth changes the game - it removes the Frost Axe from the stump and the sword from atop the dresser!
Blasphemy!
@@CoffeeNutGaming even after uninstalling and starting a new game the sword is still missing (but the frost axe was in the stump!)
update: I have successfully installed openmw and mod organizer 2 and now my game is actually working and running better than ever!
2:45 what about the Banhammer?
There are few things in this life stronger than the Banhammer
@CoffeeNutGaming at the balmora tower the sword of white woe, I remember getting it by just standing next to the pillar by the bed so that the guard wont see me and jump grab it right in front of the guard xD ah the good times :) I always checked with sneak that im not in line of sight and in few tries the sword got yoinked :D
I would appreciate if you had shown how to get to the gauntlets as I am new to the game have no idea where anything is
What difficulty are you playing on? I want to replicate this exactly and it would be nice to know.
Oof, this was so long ago I don't really remember. 99% of the time I play on default so I would bet it was there.
@@CoffeeNutGaming Thanks
Seems no matter what I do my character isn't fast enough to grab the sword before the guard returns. I resorted to standing on the other side of the pillar and jumping to grab it.
That is how it is typically done, just standing in that blind spot. I guess I was just feeling spicy when I made this video
You need sujama and matze
Thanks mate
not sure if i broke the quest for his demise, but anyway...
i'd like to find the other pieces of orcish armor, without paying a dime, but looks like i need to buy some...
anyway, the visit to Ilunibi is a good idea, and in that cave, same, even if you want just the jinkblade.
killing Acilius and looting him is just a bonus, a non-mandatory one! but if you play with heavy armor spec, he's wearing a complete imperial armor, minus head. and a very interesting imperial heavy chest! :D
Would male vs female affect the stats much?
Great video. I love you
So I got half way though the main quest ( just got 1 of the tribes to recognize me) and finally got the BOBS with my speed already at 100 I enjoy Morrowind in 2-3 minutes real time I can run from balmora to red mountain or fly with levitating and a amulet of invisibility constantly on have two you hot key each to different and you have invisibility whenever you want. can disengage combat when ever you want with a press of a button.
It gets kinda boring in some areas and in others life saving
Is the starting stats for redguard the same as the nord or anything different?
redguard has the biggest plus for long blade... if you want to play long blades, one or two hands, is your only choice!
I Just cant imagine a warrior char in morrowind without an armourer skill.. Its too beneficial
But Thanks for The vid, cool stuff dude. TES 3 4ever
Weird don’t have gnar mok as an option
I have never played morrowind before but im starting a playthrough on my series x (i know its not the best) but im making a redguard and following this guide. Thanks for helping
All the notes taken
For Anyone new do everything you can possible in character creation to get the highest endurance possible so by late game you gain the most ,health as possible . if you don't choice every option for endurance by character creation you can still have high health however you won't be able to gain the max possible because adding perk points with each level doesn't work retroactively toward the Max
Is orc a good race too?
yes.
orc racial ability is pretty strong
It’s due to Bretons having A extra points for alteration and Nords don’t… js
So whats the point of speechcraft?
He literally said its so you can taunt and intimidate people into fighting you (which doesnt give you a bounty)
Can you make a Imperial build or something like that?
Like how the fuck do you utilise this race properly
Roleplay as a wandering merchant.
Is Armorer not needed?
Bro any race is viable with end game equipment. Its about starting and early game
@@jackrabbit7789 orc is best starting, mid, and end gear because like I said they are fastest. I listed other benefits as well.
@@maxwellhill4754 speed isn't everything? Just pick the steed for any race
@@jackrabbit7789 orc has a 1.1 modifier to speed after all effects. This is the only thing you can't get with gear in the entire game
@@maxwellhill4754 with boots of blinding speed that's null
Ah yes,ranboo the warrior montage😂
Why do you keep calling Arrille 'Arley'? Is that some kind of meme? Pretty sure he's pronounced 'Ar-ri(i)ll' or even 'Ar-ree(-uh)' if you wanted to go all French like the spelling suggests.
