This along with the alchemy video inspired me to create a new character: The Argonian who wanted to be a wizard. No spellcasting allowed, only potions and items. Having a blast so far!
Been playing a combat based Nord with a large focus on enchanting and alchemy for my access to magic It's been insane, I feel like I have a tool for every situation, and if I dont I just make it I've never focused on those two primarily, so stinking powerful
A couple of extra points for beginners. 1) The Balmora Mages Guild quest chain is a bunch of fetch quests. You don't need any magical ability to complete them. One of those quests allows you to steal Galbedir's soul gems, which include a trapped daedroth and ogryn titan. 2) Even if you don't want to complete the fetch quests, Mage's Guild supply chests contain a bunch of soul gems, as well as some poitions you might want.
Spoiler below. If you do the string of quests for the quest giver in the Ald'ruhn mage's guild (another set that are pretty easy if you use the guild teleport system with just one that need's you to kill a Scamp) you will get a Ring of Divine Intervention and Ring of Almsivi Intervention.
@@zopheir5019 The low level ones are great for recharging items, which will help boost your enchant level. Keep hold of the higher level ones to make things with when you have more points in enchant.
Made a "Daedric Shield of Immortality" with a Golden Saint soul. Cost a heck of a lot from an enchanter, but has a constant Restore Health & Restore Fatigue enchant. Good luck getting past that!
Reminder: Enchants don't strictly need to be thematically appropriate. I want to enchant one object with speed, one with athletics/leaping and one with levetation. I'd strongly prefer it if these three switchable objects were rings, and not boots. ^_^
Also with the golden saints when they die you have a split second to click on them to loot their items, gives you an easy way to get high level items to enchant
High powered enchants have their place but there are some beginner enchants that can be enormously useful and can be made, after a few attempts (or save loading), with low enchanting skill and a scrib filled petty soul gem. These only take an item with one enchant capacity and only costs one point of charge for each use no matter what your enchant skill level is. -Summon bound weapon of choice for 18 seconds. The thing is very few fights using a bound weapon are going to take more than 18 seconds and before the summon expires the one point of charge will have regenerated so you have unlimited use of Daedric level damaging weapons for the inconvenience of resummoning them every 18 seconds. -Water walking for 12 seconds. This time the charge won't quite regenerate before it expires but you can pretty far casting this with a scrib level capacity item. Just don't try to run to Solstheim with just this and you'll be fine. -Levitate 1 to 1 for 12 seconds. Just what you need for checking that ledge in a dungeon or taking a short cut over, instead of around, a mountain range. -Water breathing for 12 seconds. Since this resets your breath gauge the charge will regenerate before you need to cast it again so infinite water breathing. -Soul Trap for 12 seconds. Chip away at the critter's health bar then back away and quickly cast this before delivering the killing blow. -Telekinesis 12 feet for 3 seconds. This is far enough away that you can quickly trigger booby trapped doors and chests while being out of range of the trap's effects. There are also some low powered enchanted items that can be found from vendors in the world and will always be available as they've been place on the vendor's shelves rather than being randomly generated. Spoiler's below for anyone that likes to find these sort of things themselves. Verick Germain, the trader in Caldera, will always have: -Amulet of Opening. Unlock 20 points. Not huge but it can open a surprising number of dungeon chests if you don't have a strong lockpick skill yet. -Ring of Aversion. Invisibility for ten seconds. Agroed by a cliff racer or some critter you can't find? Trying to get through a dungeon or mission without murdering any guards of bystanders? Pop this and run a short distance away (preferably out of the line of sight) and you can carry on your merry way. -Veloth's Robe. Heal 10 points with ten charges so 100 health as quick as you can click. Can be worn over armor. -Amulet of Recall. Let's you teleport to a location you've previously Marked so a good way to move heavy loot to your stash/home or a quick getaway if you get swarmed. To Mark your spot Nalcarya of White Haven, the Alchemist in Balmora, has an immediately restocking supply of Potions of Mark. Ra'Virr, the Khajit trader in the shop near the silt strider in Balmora will always have several weapons with Summon Bound Weapon for 60 seconds. Dagger's, a sword and spear. The one dagger and spear are also dirt cheap at under 200 gold. Ilena Faveran, the enchanter merchant in the Balmora Temple, will always have a Velothian Helm, a light Chitin amor helm with heal self for 10 points, and may randomly have shields with the same effect.
As for the weapon enchantment: for bound bow a duration of 6 seconds is just enough to get of two shots. And on low level enemies you rarely need more. This enchantment is quite cheap as well so even if you lack the skill you can buy it quite early
one really cheap effect that is extremely powerful would be levitate 1 on target/touch for as long as you can. way more efficient than drain strength or burden.
@@windhelmguard5295 you can also give it 1 second, and massive range, and target a flying mob, it will make them drop to the floor, sometimes even killing them.
Restoration is good to have as a major skill just so you can snapshot raise your intelligence and make decent enchants right away. Mysticism is also great for the absorb intelligence/luck spells you can make, buy a group of slaves and do absorb int/luck in 2 yards for 2 seconds. use the power of your slaves to make decent enchants. They will rebel if you do it too often though. Even with just restoration boosting yourself you can make decent stuff as a level 1 Altmer enchanter.
This is what we need more of. I'm a skilled player but a lot of people have trouble learning to play. The more info given means more players get to enjoy this game.
Enjoy some Morrowind this weekend and make that armor NICE and shiny! Enchant until the dawn and make Divyath proud ☀ See you on Twitch tomorrow, outlanders.
Most impossible playthrough is one that you can't go in balmora lol. Great guides as an old player of the this brilliant masterpiece of a game your guides are spot on take a sub.
So happy to have found this channel and that the morrowind community is so strong even 20 years after the games release. Morrowind was my entire childhood. Love the game so much! Your channel is absolutely awesome! I watched a bunch of your videos and they showed me a few things I didn't know about like the Pilgrim's Lantern or the hidden pillow quest. Keep doing this, it is appreciated by the community for sure. Also the slow fall joke about keeping the ankles in good shape made me laugh xD Greetings, a fellow Morrowind fan from Germany 🙋🏼♂️
I would only make 1 correction to your build...I would trade Willpower for Luck...Luck is your guy when it comes to Enchanting...Love your vids by the way, keep up the great work.
Any reason youd keep int? I assume outside ofnint for magicka it doesnt help enchant? Persoannly id habe picked willpower and luck both for cast and enchant chance etc :D
I recently starting playing Morrowind again. I have to thank you and Camelmoon for rekindling my interest in this game. I have been having a blast with it specially now understanding the expliots
Correction, there was a quest in Original Morrowind, which gave you a Fortify Short Blades spell. However, since Patch 1.2 it was removed. But it would be nice to see a list of enchantments that can be done, for either efficiency or fun.
bro, im so glad that i found your channel! morrowind actually is my favorite game that i've ever played in my life. and you put so many time in the creating these videos which is so cool. keep up the good work, friend. here is my follow and like on this video. greatings from Ukraine
Best gear for enchanting: all exquisite clothing pieces+ ceaphalopod helmet+ deadric tower shield(witch you still have eqipt even is casting or using a twohanded weapon . You can get an extra 20 points from the deadic pauldrons. You can also go full deadric (except the helm) and only lose a view points. There are a view items like the boots of blinding speed who have way stronger enchantments than anything you can craft yourself.
Nah Lil bro, this is Morrowind, you can wear (most of) those exquisite clothes ON TOP OF your armor. So don't skip out on getting a daedric set for even more enchants.
I like to believe that High Elves just stat boosted themselves in insane methods like Enchanting and Alchemy, and that is how they destroyed the Blades.
Wow. I played this game a thousand times and never knew how to enchant. I always thought it was strange that you could do alchemy on your own with your alchemist skill but needed an Enchanter to Enchant. This explains it.
All I wanted to do was learn how to get a constant fortify strength effect so I could carry more loot. Now I see this open door into absolute godhood. o_o Also, thanks for the tip on jump. Even with an enchant skill of 40 I was able to make an amulet I call the "Yeetus 2000". It gives 5 seconds of slow fall 1 and 1 second of jump 100. Now I can explore the game in style.
Do a video of all fast travel options.. m&r, the propylons, the mage guild, the intervetion spells... show us how fast we can go , ... tip : place a recall in a mage guild or propylon chamber...
Did you know you can steal a summoned Golden Saint/dramora’s weapons/shield (deadric tower shield) if you one shot them while sneaking and have amulet of shadows activated. Check their inventory right before they vanish. Save often game freezes sometimes.
That specific game freeze is most often because of using Dispose Body instead of Take All, MCP or MWSE solves this by making creatures still in their death animation unable to be Disposed.
Uncanny. I recently came back to Morrowind after many years and had decided on a melee/alchemist/enchanter build. I used to create really fun and crazy enchantments (I could leap halfway across the map, and I could kill every single person walking around Balmora with some sort of enchanted item which would basically nuke the place.) However, I couldn't remember exactly how it all worked. Well, the mind-reading algorithm kicked in and put your video at the top, despite me not doing any searches for enchanting in Morrowind... Thank you for this educational and helpful video.
My new favourite thing is soultrapping bosses and - if their souls are too small- enchant random objects with them for display in my home in Balmora. Naming is the best part, for example my characters comfy slippers next to the bed are named 'The Indignity of Dagoth Gares', makes me smile every time whenever the name pops up on the screen
I think there is a fortify skill spell in vanilla, you have to turn in all 32 sanguine artifacts to a guy in the Mora Tong guild and he will give you a spell that has fortify dagger on it which will give you the option to fortify any skill in the spell maker.
That's the Fortify Attack effect, and it doesn't interact with skills. It's usefulness is rather specific and a bit limitied. It works to increase accuracy with weapon strikes (no effect on hand-to-hand, conjured summons or magical offensive weapons). It's a very rare spell effect in unmodded Morrowind (I can't think of any other availability for the spell outside of a birthsign) but because the scope of it is just "less missing when swinging" it's perhaps no loss to an enchanter compared to restore & fortify fatigue, and fortify agility & luck which also positively impact that accuracy of weapon swings (as well as other things). It's been a while, I'd double check with what the UESP has to say over relying on my memory though.
@@Lorlic1138trust me, you only know half of what you're talking about. Yes, this spell existed in the release version of Morowind, but after patch 1.2 it was removed and replaced with the Fortify Attack spell (which the other guy already explained that specifically) So unless you're playing on an original Disc version of Morrowind you're probably not gonna have access to it.
>make fortify intelligence 100pts 5secs enchants in all possible gear (not your main one, just to store away) >get over 1200 intelligence momentarily >enchant the single most broken piece of equipment known to man I'm proud to say i discovered this on my own without guides, and it's been a blast. I have a constant effect regenerate stamina 12 pts pants and it literally made it impossible for me to ran out of stamina. I also have an exquisite shirt with heal 100pts, using a golden saint soul makes it almost unlimited. I killed gaenor without even realizing he was the toughest npc in the game, just an annoying one
You can actually turn that heal into constant HP Regen which is even more broken, then add Absorb Health on your weapon and you become practically Invincible bc of the amount of healing.
Also you can use alchemy and stack the effect to get your int up in the thousands without having to enchant a full set of gear to do this. Also make luck potions ontop of that. And you can now make stupid crazy enchants and potions to sell for a fortune. Just make some items to fortify your enchantments and make even better enchanted items☺️
Ontop of what i just said. Use this method to also make restore, health, fatigue and magicka potions that are restoring you quicker than you can use it and never have to worry about your health and stuff ever again.
Imagine being born a rat on the island of vyardenfell , just to be immediately soul trapped and killed and your soul bound to a rusty old iron Saber so that CofeeNut can educate us fools about enchanting....bravo
You can actualy get a key from the wearhouse at the start of the game ang get some very good loot of the bat. Its in the shelf in the second room, with the dude that gives you orders to go to Balmora
Paper can also be enchanted into single-use scrolls. Kwama egg mines are filled with decent early game petty souls. I enchanted 1 piece of paper with 70-ish poison damage on touch and got around 27-29 progress on a relatively low enchantment level. That's some good frigging elemental damage compared to the chance based variable damage spells.
Also recommend having soul trap on something light like a dagger (Soul Drinker is what I use) that way you can just strike once to activate the effect, then finish them off with whatever weapon you want.
An enchantment which I like is Jesus' ring. Walk on water constant heal 2 hp constant Also for fortify skills you can do 1-150 and re equip them until you get what you want.
Anyone have any suggestions for a sort of "Artificer" Build Basically I want to make it that I "Know" a bunch of basic offense spells But the real purpose is to just have that knowledge so I can them fill up a whole bunch of rings and staves with those effects and during combat, cycle through my bag of trinkets to blast my enemies with these tools. Basically fill my inventory with Magic Guns
Here is some useful/fun enchantments I recommend (keep in mind the order is important and the values optimized) : Any Item (on cast) : Restore All 8 attributes (You can also remove 1 or 2 attribute to add cure disease and/or cure poison) Restore strength 1pt Slowfall 1pt Water breathing Restore health 1pt Restore Fatigue 24pt (You'd be surprised how much being at full fatigue is better for everything) Soul Trap on target on 10fts for 2sec Summon Golden Saint 2sec Weakness to Magicka 100% Absorb Health 70pts on target on 10fts for 2sec (One button to soultrap a golden saint. And if reflect the spells, that makes it two buttons) Bound Glove, Chest, Helm, Boots, Shield, Sword for Xsec (29 for exquisite shirt/pant, 58 for exquisite ring/amulet) Summon Ancestral Ghost, Scamp, Skeletal Minion, Bone Walker, Greater Bone Walker for 27 sec (If you want it on an amulet/Ring, remove the Bone Walker, make it 23sec for everything except the Ghost, which you need to set to 22sec) Invisibility 20sec Jump 100pts 1 sec Open 100pts (One amulet for multiple uses) Fortify Speed 100pts on self 1sec x4 Fortify Acrobatics 100pts on self 1sec Jump 100pts on self 1sec (You can also use 5 Fortify Speed, but adding acrobatics helps when you have a high mountain to cross. I don't recommend adding more than one acrobatics line tho. You'll get stuck in the air for way to long, and you won't travel that far). Invisibility 5sec Fortify Speed 33pts 5sec x2 Fortify Speed 100pts 5sec x2 Fortify Strength 100pts for 24sec (Strength is far better than feather to get more weight to carry. Plus you can use it as a buff to increase damage) Also, if you plan to have multiple enchants instead of spells, I recommend using only exquisite amulets. It's light, have good enchant value (120), doesn't affect your armor value, can't break, and have its dedicated inventory slot (compared to rings : if you quick select a ring, it has a chance to replace one you don't want to unequip). And using only one item for "on cast" enchantments does't mess up the rest of your setup.
One thing I suggest is a restore fatigue, restore health, and restore magicka constant enchantments on your armor to never have to worry about resting ever again.
I did a constant effect heal self back in the day. It had a massive downside - the spell effect and sound triggered every second. Got rather annoying after a while 😂🤣
On restore Magicka, According to the UESP, “This effect is not available in any standard spell that can be bought, which means it is impossible to enchant items that restore magicka. However, it is available in potions and scrolls.”
@kevincorapi137 Googling Ward of Phnem revealed a mod called Morrowind Reborn. I’m speaking vanilla. If we go mods you could get restore Magicka from anything
When making fortify attribute items I would set them to a range instead of a set amount. This allowed for a higher potential max buff with the trade off of having to repeatedly equip/unequip to "roll" how much the buff was.
Dont forget the exquisite jewlery ring and necklace and belt and sometimes the Exquisite clothes around the heavy armor like I did thats a lot of XP and gold!
Before you pick up the limeware platter and hand over your papers, also take the warehouse key and drop it. Then pick them both up. If you are really patient, do the same to the books in the Census Office.
and you always forget the lttle store room in the census office !! go down the small stairs and to the right, you will find some baskets and sacks with potion materials !
You can combine summoning spells with enchant and the ranged spell exploit to create a exploitation loop too, works especially well with golden saints for farming grand souls & daedric tower shields + all sorts of rare weapons, but you can do it with skeletons at earlier levels and dremora later on. ranged spell exploit is also fun for getting that pet clannfear you always wanted too
@@tillercaesar-kq4ou There is an exploit in Morrowind that works by pairing an on-self effect spell with a ranged soul trap spell that results in the on-self effect becoming permanent, usually used to farm golden saints or give yourself god stats. What I'm specifically saying is that it doesn't need to be a "spell" per se, you can make an enchanted item with the same spell effects and the exploit will still work. The reason I'm saying that is because for the higher level versions of the spell you may not have enough magicka or the dice roll might be impossible, using an enchanted item skirts this issue AND doesn't usually cost too much either.
@@TheTmieBandit ahh so that’s why you say your permanent clannfear because it becomes a permanent on self clannfear? What if it dies, you just recast it? How does the farming work, the soul trap automatically applies to the summon or something? What do you mean by loop?
@@tillercaesar-kq4ou Yes, you can just recast it, their corpses also don't despawn unlike normal summoned entities so you can simply loot the corpses. I'm not sure why it works differently, i assume since there's no timer there's nothing to tell the game to make the corpse vanish. I don't know why i said "loop" either lol, i guess i just meant you can soul trap the golden saints to farm grand souls.
Enchant was my substitution for non-regenerating Magicka. I became GOD by enchanting like a madman. I was like a gattling cannon of damage spell rings, HoT amulets, passive levitation clothes etc. Pure insanity Out of ONE single skill 🤣
I started exploiting enchant late game on my fifth playthrough back in the day. Calm spells worked well when added to a weapon with a strike effect. It's funny when they just don't fight back.
You definitely improved the audio! Right on man. If I can give one more criticism. I believe the true font mod allows changes in font size. While you do a good job highlighting what we need to see, ideally I’d just like to see everything myself. IMO making the font a little bigger would help with my viewing experience. Just my two cents.
I thought target was a missile spell cast in one direction on a single enemy, but that it’s conveniently stored in an enchanted item eliminating the use of the magicka pool, and touch was a radius spell, whereby everything within that radius incurs the spell, 0 touch being enemies that attack you physically(touches you) incurs the spell and you can increase the radius that defines touch. I also read somewhere that increasing telekinesis increases the range of touch, adding to the misunderstanding. I understand now though, that target makes everything within a certain range incur the spell, touch is for a specific target that is “touched”, and is used for ensuring that your familiars don’t also incur the spell. I think this is a reasonable misunderstanding because there’s little chance of your familiar will be hit by a missile spell casted at a specific opponent. Touch is basically useless. And ‘target’ implies that it’s a focused spell, but it’s the opposite, with no target at all, it’s a radius that’s just blasted with the spell 😂
to be honest i learned all the exploits myself but i learned them too late to do anything except get gold. worked my way up to being able to merc ordinators and just sell everything they own to the mud crab merchant and with a full set of daedric armor enchanted with strength and feather enchantments i can carry like 1000lbs and one shot ordinators
Golden saints can be summoned even if you are dumb-as-bricks. All you need is the soul trap spell and summon Golden Saints spell. Then make a custom spell that casts golden saint for 2 seconds along with summons golden saint for 2 seconds. Then cast that spell at your feet, and that Golden Saint ain't going away until someone kills it. It was amazing seeing gaenor get jumped by my harem of Golden Saints.
with openmw, it has a toggle that makes it so that when you enchant an item, it's properly reflected in it's sale price. in vanilla mw enchantments don't effect sales price for stuff you make.
I'm really boring with enchanting I tend to wear the Boots of Blinding Speed to make the game faster, enchant shoulders with a couple of points of Constant Effect restore fatigue and then everything else with constant Fortify Strength for extra damage and carry capacity
Speaking of Skyrim, there is an combination of using whirlwind sprint and ragdolling yourself by using netch jelly which has a paralysis effect. You'll zoom across the map and have no fall damage while paralyzed.
Hi, Coffee! Longtime fan of your content! Question: how do you get your items to rapid fire as seen on 24:40 of the video? I put a similar enchantment on a ring and my character still does the cast animation; how did you get your item to quick fire without the cast animation? Thank you for making such great, comprehensive guides!
OpenMW has an option that allows you to turn off cast animations. I think that's what happened here. It's also something that's really easy to forget about once you set it.
I really missed some information on enchantment chances as well as the important warning that your first enchantments with starting skill levels have to be REALLY basic! Also i got the feeling that you actually CAN fail recharging items🤔
I think the drain enchantments should be in the more passive alteration spell class than the active destruction class. The way I thought it worked is that upon casting a drain spell for example, everything within a specific orbit would incur that spell. But it turns out you have to go up to the opponent and touch them 😂
heres how to use enchanting: find a fortify skill spell, save the game, spam the creation of an expensive ring that buffs your enchant by 100 for 2 seconds (as one second instantly expires but two seconds gives you time to pause and enchant while times frozen) until you eventually get lucky, reload save if you run out of gems doing so. now you have one of these making another is a piece of cake and you can use about 10-15 before your quick exit menu use enchantment technique uses enough time for the first one to run out. now you have infinite enchanting. get summon flame atronarch spell and put it on a ring, get a bunch of common soul gems, trap flame atronarchs in the gems. get a bunch of expensive/extravagant rings and one exquisite ring. on the exquisite ring do fortify enchant 100 points for 24 seconds. with an enchant skill of 500 or higher this shouldnt even need save scumming to do. if you can, a soul bigger than a flame atronarchs would be best but even if you can't manage that you can still use your briefer enchant boosting rings to lower the cost until you can use this one. then with all your other rings and infinite souls courtesy of the respawning common soul gems from the merchant in tel branora make a bunch of 100 shock damage rings. don't add a duration or it'll take longer. 1 seconds is instant and can be spammed as many times as you can click a second but 2 seconds will be interrupted and wasted by spam clicking. get a few rings with 100 instant restore health too. now you've made the strongest build in the game. go forth and do 600-1200 shock damage a second with infinite heals! just make sure you always have your 24 second enchant booster active so all your enchantment uses only cost 1 point. with just two damage rings and one healing ring one long enchant boost and three short ones you can ime clear out anywhere you go without running out of charge
You can enchant fortify enchanting 95 on target for 2 seconds to make any trainer a master enchanting trainer because trainers can train their top 3 skills, so if you buff enchanting to 100 they’ll be an enchanting trainer. works for all skills
I wish the restocking merchants were made into a proper game mechanic... linked to Mercantile skill perhaps. Level it up to get the ability to order bulk supplies from traders.
The item you show with the fortify enchant 24 pts could just as easily something like: Slowfall 1 pt Water Walking Fortify Enchant 10 pts I haven't actually tested this combo, but I tend to prefer enchantments with many low magnitude bonuses. In fact I think on my last play through I had constant effect pants with jump 4 or 6 or some low number it made such a difference. You can make an argument that you are less efficiently enchanting, but if you put low cost ones first it doesn't matter much.

This is a god tier comment.
@@windhelmguard5295 you can also give it 1 second, and massive range, and target a flying mob, it will make them drop to the floor, sometimes even killing them.

Well making custom spells makes it hard not to be come one.
I've played morrowind on and off since I was a literal child and never knew you could enchant items yourself xD Everything makes a lot more sense now
Restoration is good to have as a major skill just so you can snapshot raise your intelligence and make decent enchants right away.
A 30 minute video on a skill I will never use... its perfect.
These are the best Morrowind tutorials I’ve ever seen. Keep it up (or else!)!
Aye aye captain
This is what we need more of. I'm a skilled player but a lot of people have trouble learning to play. The more info given means more players get to enjoy this game.
Enjoy some Morrowind this weekend and make that armor NICE and shiny! Enchant until the dawn and make Divyath proud ☀ See you on Twitch tomorrow, outlanders.

Also the slow fall joke about keeping the ankles in good shape made me laugh xD
Greetings, a fellow Morrowind fan from Germany 🙋🏼♂️
I’m only now getting into this game on my old Xbox, so grateful for your content. Like your style, and appreciate the information!!!
I would only make 1 correction to your build...I would trade Willpower for Luck...Luck is your guy when it comes to Enchanting...Love your vids by the way, keep up the great work.
Yh i commented this, luck and also beserk rage both can help enchant chance❤
Any reason youd keep int? I assume outside ofnint for magicka it doesnt help enchant? Persoannly id habe picked willpower and luck both for cast and enchant chance etc :D
@@jhsjdytk Enchanting scales off of Intelligence...Intelligence and Luck...two most important attributes for Enchanting
I recently starting playing Morrowind again. I have to thank you and Camelmoon for rekindling my interest in this game. I have been having a blast with it specially now understanding the expliots
Ngl, I already learned all these things last year when I got back into the game, but I really enjoy your content, so here I am
Thank you! I have so much fun as a new Morrowind player because of your great videos.
That's awesome to hear! Thanks for watching
2:00 worth noting luck matters, also fatigue, ie beserks fortify fatigue helps too (both for enchant chance)
"You thought you'd get a jwo to video without Balmora, well not on this channel."
This video made dig out Morrowind after prob more than 10 years. Great job!
Welcome back!
Now I see this open door into absolute godhood. o_o
Also, thanks for the tip on jump. Even with an enchant skill of 40 I was able to make an amulet I call the "Yeetus 2000". It gives 5 seconds of slow fall 1 and 1 second of jump 100. Now I can explore the game in style.
My favorite was enchanting a constant effect of levitate. Then I could just fly everywhere
Super cool video I finally spent a day playing the game and now I’ll fore sure work towards this
Nice! Enchanting is one of the best parts of the game. A pathway to many abilities some may consider....unnatural 🧙♂️
I am easily entertained, so the 124 Enchant demonstration amused me greatly!
@@afivey no it’s fortify dagger, but since dagger is a skill it gives you the fortify all skills ability In enchanting. Trust me, I know.
@@Lorlic1138trust me, you only know half of what you're talking about.
Yes, this spell existed in the release version of Morowind, but after patch 1.2 it was removed and replaced with the Fortify Attack spell (which the other guy already explained that specifically) So unless you're playing on an original Disc version of Morrowind you're probably not gonna have access to it.
>make fortify intelligence 100pts 5secs enchants in all possible gear (not your main one, just to store away)
>get over 1200 intelligence momentarily
>enchant the single most broken piece of equipment known to man
I'm proud to say i discovered this on my own without guides, and it's been a blast.
@@nicholausstevens1262 yes, you can use it for restore health, but at that point I might as well cheat, literally impossible to die lmao

Oh rly i always just buy that unlock scroll and just open it pay the fine and loot everything but good to know thanks for that
Another great video, Coffee! Quickly became my favorite Elder Scrolls channel.
Thats awesome to hear! Glad you're enjoying the content
This is great advise! Make some "oh shite" scrolls like Waterbreathing ad level your Enchant Skill in the meanwhile!
If only I could enchant Caius Cosades' skooma pipe with paralysis and levitation on use.
Bruh.. the amount of shit theybremoved in future games!!!

Also recommend having soul trap on something light like a dagger (Soul Drinker is what I use) that way you can just strike once to activate the effect, then finish them off with whatever weapon you want.
An enchantment which I like is Jesus' ring.
Walk on water constant
heal 2 hp constant
Also for fortify skills you can do 1-150 and re equip them until you get what you want.
Anyone have any suggestions for a sort of "Artificer" Build
Basically I want to make it that I "Know" a bunch of basic offense spells
But the real purpose is to just have that knowledge so I can them fill up a whole bunch of rings and staves with those effects and during combat, cycle through my bag of trinkets to blast my enemies with these tools.
Basically fill my inventory with Magic Guns
Here is some useful/fun enchantments I recommend (keep in mind the order is important and the values optimized) :
Any Item (on cast) :
Restore All 8 attributes
(You can also remove 1 or 2 attribute to add cure disease and/or cure poison)
Restore strength 1pt
Slowfall 1pt
Water breathing
Restore health 1pt
Restore Fatigue 24pt
(You'd be surprised how much being at full fatigue is better for everything)
Soul Trap on target on 10fts for 2sec
Summon Golden Saint 2sec
Weakness to Magicka 100%
Absorb Health 70pts on target on 10fts for 2sec
(One button to soultrap a golden saint. And if reflect the spells, that makes it two buttons)
Bound Glove, Chest, Helm, Boots, Shield, Sword for Xsec (29 for exquisite shirt/pant, 58 for exquisite ring/amulet)
Summon Ancestral Ghost, Scamp, Skeletal Minion, Bone Walker, Greater Bone Walker for 27 sec
(If you want it on an amulet/Ring, remove the Bone Walker, make it 23sec for everything except the Ghost, which you need to set to 22sec)
Invisibility 20sec
Jump 100pts 1 sec
Open 100pts
(One amulet for multiple uses)
Fortify Speed 100pts on self 1sec x4
Fortify Acrobatics 100pts on self 1sec
Jump 100pts on self 1sec
(You can also use 5 Fortify Speed, but adding acrobatics helps when you have a high mountain to cross. I don't recommend adding more than one acrobatics line tho. You'll get stuck in the air for way to long, and you won't travel that far).
Invisibility 5sec
Fortify Speed 33pts 5sec x2
Fortify Speed 100pts 5sec x2
Fortify Strength 100pts for 24sec
(Strength is far better than feather to get more weight to carry. Plus you can use it as a buff to increase damage)
Also, if you plan to have multiple enchants instead of spells, I recommend using only exquisite amulets.
I always make the skills i use the most misc, and easy to level skills as the major and minor, so i can control my leveling for min/maxing.
I have always made a class called Soulhunter and traded soul gems. It's very lucrative :)
I liked this video on the intro... after watching your knight-blade, spell-sword and Thief, thoroughly excited im sure it will be rippin good video
My confusion ended today. Thank you
Glad the video helped!
LOL that golden saint you spawned in the lava looking at you like “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME????”
These videos should have been there when i first played lol, but then again i wasn't too into morrowind at that point like i am now.
7:13 showing Azura’s shrine location is such a godsend 😎
With no magica regeneration, enchant was my way to godhood 💪❤️
If your acrobatics is 125+ you no longer take fall damage.
Whoa, that was confusing, hearing Witcher music in a Morrowind video! :D (kudos for using both at the same time)
You can combine summoning spells with enchant and the ranged spell exploit to create a exploitation loop too, works especially well with golden saints for farming grand souls & daedric tower shields + all sorts of rare weapons, but you can do it with skeletons at earlier levels and dremora later on. ranged spell exploit is also fun for getting that pet clannfear you always wanted too
What do you mean exactly?
Making morrowind videos just when I bought it online? That's a subscribe.
I started exploiting enchant late game on my fifth playthrough back in the day. Calm spells worked well when added to a weapon with a strike effect. It's funny when they just don't fight back.
Restore enchants are crazy powerful, and I love it.
I still have the XBox handbook. Still looking for the original map, but I do have a Vvardenfell map that includes Mournhold and Solstheim.

I love to play as nord... and add cold dmg to that enchant :) cuz of cold immunity .... daedric tower shield is a must
You definitely improved the audio!
2:58 actually you can wear a lot of clothing over heavy armour so take both if that's your thing.
I love how you talk about the game
with openmw, it has a toggle that makes it so that when you enchant an item, it's properly reflected in it's sale price. in vanilla mw enchantments don't effect sales price for stuff you make.
A good way to grind Enchantment is just to make a high cost attack item and just use it fully.
I'm surprised you never mentioned the fortify attribute or fortify skill spell with soultrap on target exploit.
Did you knew the *best bodies, best armours and best faces* mods it gives a plus in the grafics to the game
Nyone remember sr 72 on the gamefaqs forums? He is the guy that mapped out all the spell making / enchantments breaks and tweaks. Awwe memories.
make an enchanted item to cast invisibility on target. benevolently zap the townsfolk as you wander through
you can also abuse soul trap for unlimited stats witch i found out by accident when messing around with spell making
Your second mage guild quest in Balmora also allows you to steal some great filled soul gems from Galbedir
Hi, Coffee! Longtime fan of your content!
Question: how do you get your items to rapid fire as seen on 24:40 of the video? I put a similar enchantment on a ring and my character still does the cast animation; how did you get your item to quick fire without the cast animation?
Thank you for making such great, comprehensive guides!
He said this in another comment
"I believe it was just Fire Damage on Target and then a big ole soul and high enchant skill for a ton of charges"

Im new to morrowing but played skyrim for thousands of hours 🤣

Try out soul trap and shield on a suitable sword. Adds just abit of survivability
The item you show with the fortify enchant 24 pts could just as easily something like:

Water Walking
Fortify Enchant 10 pts
I haven't actually tested this combo, but I tend to prefer enchantments with many low magnitude bonuses. In fact I think on my last play through I had constant effect pants with jump 4 or 6 or some low number it made such a difference. You can make an argument that you are less efficiently enchanting, but if you put low cost ones first it doesn't matter much.
