I do bubble mailers and envelopes but I am thinking of strictly using bubble mailers. I heard that sometimes the tracking sticker on the white envelopes don't work out.

I went to the counter first to ask, the lady said either I or the reciever would be charged a fee to deliver it. I dropped them off in the mail slot just to try it out. Just a note: I think with a bubble mailer you will be charged because they consider this to be a parcel. HOWEVER... I think if you are doing this with just a standard envelope, maybe you will be good to go no problems.
@@mrgoonies408 Ok so I've been selling ever since my comment basically, and I've had two envelopes returned to me and one where USPS actually charged my customer and outrageous amount to get the card and I had to fund the difference... I think technically this isn't allowed by some rule but it has varied by worker ans USPS center. I've stopped doing it for now because I don't trust the USPS to be competent, but this worked the vast majority of times.

I'm thinking of selling online either on my website or eBay (Amazon has too many rules to get accepted now). This vid never mentioned about cost of using tracking #. The track # labels are free but the service of doing tracking is not. When you shipped with track # sticker, PO won't scan the track # so that parcel was sent just regular first class mail. You need go to PO to have Track # scanned fro the service & it cost money. That's why many comments complained it didn't work, or customers had to eat the cost. This is just my opinion, never done yet.
I tried using the forever stamp on the bubble mail envelopes, but the clerk at my post office told me I needed the .70cents Non-Machineable stamps. Anyways, very helpful video man. This will surely save me lots of mula.
Depends on who is at the Post office. These are called Confirmation label 400. Postal workers are confused at the usage of these. USPS website literally gives these too you for free online. You have to do research.

Someone at the Post Office there wrote on the envelope that my buyer owed them an extra $7.20. How the hell do I track my purchase the seller sent via Easypost??? Ordered from US to UK but don’t have any idea if the goods have even been sent as I can’t track using the tracking number provided. Every time I try to it asks me to setup an account???

Reading the comments. Let me clear a few things up. I mail a lot of stuff. And I love stamps. Bubble mailers are a grey area. USPS employees are not well trained. Every single employee is different. Some treat bubblers as letters, some as parcels. Based off the USPS guidelines, these 4x7 bubblers are letters as long as they are less then 1/4 inch thick. One forever stamp plus non machinable stamp/surcharge. 88 cents in 2021. He is lucky they let him ship it for one stamp. If a post office employee tells you its a parcel. They are wrong. I also read USPS employee forums on reddit. Bubblers are a massive debate there as well but the 4x7 are letters. The bigger bubblers are flats. Not parcels.

FAILED, DIDNT WORK, did this with a bubble mailer, lady denied it saying I need like 6 stamps because its changes into a parcel package so i removed the tracking label as seen in video and lady told me to put 2 stamps for the buble mailer weight .75 oz. And it worked, but no tracking.

Yeah, I thought this same thing... They exist so that you can add them to your packages after you've paid for enough postage. A lot of times you can pay for postage and all the PO will put on there is the amount paid, not a full shipping label. So then you'd put this sticker on there so it can be tracked. Or say you have an envelope, you put six forever stamps or whatever, then one of these stickers and you should have proper tracking updates.

They'll quickly ignore the tracking on a standard envelope. This isn't a proper method of shipping anymore so if you get away with it, that's cool.. But it isn't a guarantee

The best way I can explain it concisely is to go on ebay and use the chat bubble. This lady helped me a lot so I can mail with Plain White Envelopes. I just buy a forever stamp and send it off.

I'm pretty sad since in Canada, I can't find a similar option to your cheap 0.80 cents. It's $9.75 to add tracking to envelopes from what I've seen here. XD Please be happy that you live in the US! :D

There are lots and lots of variable to take into consideration when setting up eBay listings. 1. Do you have a store on eBay and are you aiming for Top Rated Seller status? If so, all items have to be tracked. 2. Is the value of the listing less than $20? If so, it doesn't make much sense to track the item, unless you charge for shipping. 3. Do you want to charge a flat rate for shipping? 4. Do you want the customer to pay for shipping calculated through eBay (they pay what you pay)? 5. Do you want standard First Class Parcel if you're tracking it or Priority? Lots of questions. To keep it simple, I charge a flat rate on shipping on all my Singles - $3.00 . The service you would select for this is USPS First Class Parcel I also add an additional service in case they want it super fast - USPS Priority Mail - $7.99
This is an awesome video but it seems that over time and from what the comments have been saying as well it seems that there should be an updated video if possible given the rising cost of shipping
Just remember that 47c (one stamp) is good for the first ounce.. One additional ounce is an additional 22cents, so TWO stamps will actually be over-paying for 2 ounces. The Post Office sells 67c stamps, as well as 22c stamps.

It's doubtful they'd accept a regular envelope with tracking. This only works when Postal Workers don't look to deeply into it, but a standard envelope will never be scanned unless it was certified.
I used to. I've since stopped using this method, however. I spoke to a USPS rep at one point and they said putting a stamp on a bubble mailer is perfectly fine. But then they complained about putting the tracking label on and getting free 1st Class Parcel service so I stopped since I mail so much. Doesn't change that it is acceptable.
Kraken Packs I print postage directly to #6 3/4 personal envelopes. For expensive orders I print post into a 4x6 label, USPS First class parcel. All of this is done through DaZZle/Endicia or stamps.com

This does not work. With that label, it becomes a parcel. If you take that to your post office, they will deny it and you will be charged full price.

1 stamp is usually for a letter, like one single piece of paper. If you can , to be safe, I’d put 2 stamps and you should be good! 👍

You should get a notebook with the squares for your sticker recording. I do this for the goodwill stickers and it works great.

No it really never worked. Some times it did others usps would want like 3.50 from customer on delivery or return it back

Depends on your USPS Branch and whether or not they allow it to go through. I've found that small 3rd party hubs work the best.

I used to.
I've since stopped using this method, however. I spoke to a USPS rep at one point and they said putting a stamp on a bubble mailer is perfectly fine. But then they complained about putting the tracking label on and getting free 1st Class Parcel service so I stopped since I mail so much.
Doesn't change that it is acceptable.
Are you back to just white mailers and 3m labels? That's the way I handle things, definitely looking for a faster way but it's good for what it is.
Kraken Packs I print postage directly to #6 3/4 personal envelopes.
For expensive orders I print post into a 4x6 label, USPS First class parcel.
All of this is done through DaZZle/Endicia or stamps.com
