I was collecting all blue eyes white dragons back then when I was a kid I had like 3 folders full with them... Wish I would have kept them but one guy was interested in them and I traded them all for pretty insane cards back then so I can build a strong meta deck and compete. What a legendary time
Randomly was recommended this video, and wanted to say that it’s a pretty cool video and you did a good job. Did want to point out a few things though, the cyber stein was a prize card given to players that topped at the Shonen Jump Championship events. So a large part of the price is that I think ~ 60 exist. There’s actually a crush card virus one that there’s fewer of and is worth more. Also those dds promos are actually really easy to grade out of the game, there’s a lot of PSA 10s and in fact there’s even a BGS black label copy of the blue eyes floating around out there. Last thing was that the LOB blue eyes that sold for 80k was heavily shill bid so most people don’t really recognize that as it’s peak value. It’s more so that 40k price. Considering how opaque a lot of sales are, I think you did pretty well on the ranks. I would recommend looking up the festa blue eyes, and the g4 dark magician girl though as those are probably the most valuable non prize cards. There’s also WCS cards but I don’t think those should count in a video like this.

@@17foxes No worries. And again without really diving deep it’s almost impossible to find information on a lot of cards. For example, when I was digging for information about the g3 dark magician girl, because at the time there was almost no information in English I came across this video: th-cam.com/video/GnjhzA8oXyY/w-d-xo.html and found out about more ridiculously expensive cards. Other cards have major condition issues, like the tcg dark armed dragon was such a good card that most copies got opened and played with. So now there’s only 6 PSA 10s. Or ghost rares being easy to scratch making 10s also ridiculously rare, and expensive. And because they end up rare, you rarely see them sold. So all things considered I think you did a great job!

I'm watching your video because i stored my son's Yu-Gi-Oh cards for years ( since 2008) and he has the black luster soldier in a shiny foil wrapper. I started looking through the cards out curiosity and it makes me nervous when i see how valuable they can be😅

Strange how "Limited" cards are practically worthless. While starter deck cards sold by the millions fetch good prices.

I remember selling LOB Red Eyes Black Dragon for 50 bucks sometime around 2001. It was crazy money!
the card was not even released until 2002
All my cards are at max a 5 or 7 out of 10, I put them all stacked together in a bag inside a shoe box

@@17foxes lots of worlds prizecards sell for prizes that made the list, theyre just in a bit more of a tight nit community. Same thing with prizes of cards in Japan. And honestly you are missing quite a few prizecards as summer cup des volstagph (or however you spell it) went for at least 4K

I really enjoyed That Video. Just wanted to let u know that u forgot about minerva. She was a Price Card and a youtuber (his Name ist asmr jojo) bought this Card for 50k australian dollar which is something like 33k us dollar
My brother won an SJC Cyber Stein and sold for 4k back in 2005. Those were the days.
I'm surprised that Crush Card Virus SJC isn't on this list, a 10 sold for $80,000 last year you can see a video on Solemn YuGiOh's channel
they are missing a ton of expensive cards. instead they decided to add dupes that are cheaper into the list for some unknown reason. the list isnt even accurate as its missing far to many cards.

It makes sense: Exodia is split into 5 parts and sealed, so he doesn't have enough power to protect against even such simple tricks. Even the God Cards have highly limited influence, and they are the most powerful single cards.
I know a guy who have 3 DDS Blue Eyes, kinda crazy considering it’s my first time seeing at 3 on the same time
I'm honestly only interested in Cyber Stein. I'd like one but Idk if I'm ever gonna get one. It makes you wonder how much longer Yugioh has. People who don't look back at history things that die out depending on the next generation lose value in merch. So the price of your Yugioh cards believe it or not heavily depend on Gen Z and Gen Alpha in the future.
One thinking you should keep in mind is that sometime the grades because its one person grading them and they could've grade it wrong and people don't realize it lol

the owner of the black luster soldier is saying its worth millions. he is holding it. i dont know how many times it was traded. but original trade from the winner to the first buyer was 20k$
also there is the super lion, zera, blue eyes ultimate dragon (i think first time this card was printed very cool card), crush card virus, sengenjin (i remember this one had a market value of 700$ almost 20 years ago)
victory dragon was also worth a shit ton. like 5k$ at its time 15 years ago. the other prize cards later sold around 2-3k very fast never to be seen again.

also you forgot the insta win god card. that card sold a few times around the 10k$ mark
Can relate to doing dumb trades as a kid, I had Dark Duel Stories and traded my Salamandra from it for a Crab Turtle, just because it had high stats and I thought Crab Turtle was very rare (I can at least blame the early Yugioh games like Dark Duel Stories and Forbidden Memories for making me think all ritual monsters were so hard to come by). Also traded the Seiyaryu from it for some Blue-Eyes that another kid claimed was some super valuable "misprint", though now I suspect it was just a counterfeit card.
If it makes you feel better both of those dds cards are worth about $20-30 tops :) it was only the ones from the other box that were worth a lot
@@dejancvijanovic7085 It does actually make me feel a bit better to hear that I didn't give away hundreds of dollars as a kid, though I liked Seiyaryu and am still a bit bummed I traded it away... but I guess that means I could also buy another one easily if I ever felt like it.

Just got a Red Eyes Black Dragon LOB at a thrift store. Very good condition. Along with a few other good ones. I paid 3 bucks for all of them.

I think its smart to buy this cards right now when you have the chance and the money. The prices will rise massivevly. Yu gi oh started in the us in 2002 thats 22 years ago actually not that long ago. Imagine the prices in 2040 or so.

I feel like you gotta do a bit more research for this type of videos. There’s lots of rare cards/prize cards that have sold for a lot more than a lot of the cards that you mentioned. You have crush card virus, minerva, stardust divinity, des vol, and pretty much all the world prize cards just to name a couple .
Fun fact: Blue Eyes White Dragon has the highest attack of all the Normal Monsters.

In my opinion yugioh rarity are so boring and crappie. They just put foil and that's it. So bland. For example when you look at poke on and etc they have amazing looking full art cards and etc.
Now full art won't fit in yugioh because of the essay written on the cards but having the art at least pop out of the box to have it look like it's coming out of the card would be cool. Not just tin foil...

hate saying this but this video is quite bad. for one u included dupes of cards which isnt something u should do. the title does say the 26 more expensive yugioh cards after all and the list isnt even doing that when it adds dupes into the mix. not to mention the psa 9 cards that u added that were just dupes, there are cards far more pricey than those. heck u added 3 dark magician girls yet left the most expensive version of her card out of the list entirely that being the g3-11 version easily puts it in the top 3 spots. there are tons more too that u failed to mention and instead mentioned dupes that are cheaper instead.
Definitely respect your opinion! I made this video a year ago and have a lot more knowledge about the game now. If I do a video like this again I will do better research on the topic for sure!
You know whats crazy? I just pulled almost every card out of my attic you just listed. ...... wtf? Am i rich? Minus the japenese cards and a few. 2 Blue eyes. 2 dark magicians, and others. like wuhh i guess i should get these graded. They are at least 8-9s
