Love your work! Would you please consider doing a video on Versace Cosmetics/Beauty and also Mugler Cosmetics/Beauty... I briefly recall those things existing at one time in recently history!! I wonder what happened
I considered doing a mugler cosmetics video actually, I just finished a video on the fashion brand for my fashion channel (its up in 2 weeks, patreon now) and it heavily impacted his fashion line throughout its history, so theres a lot of the history of the perfumes/ makeup in that video, but it definitley could deserve its own video
Another amazing video. I wanted to suggest the old Guess fragrance that was legendary in the 90s. I remember my mom loving it and coveting that last bottle she had when it was discontinued and she couldn't get anymore
Awesome and very comprehensive documentary on perfumery! Really missed this on TH-cam. Would love to see an episode on Yves Saint Laurent Beauty throughout the years. Or maybe on a specific perfume and the history behind it, such as Opium or Kouros.
Another great episode! I think the 2017 rebrand and new release of perfumes are great! I often find myself purchasing these as a ‘ go to ‘ daily perfume!!
Great video! I must have totally forgotten about Lagerfeld parfums but I recognise the ones from 2014. I really like the changes from 2017 onwards though as the perfumes look so much more appealing.
Would you PLEASE consider doing a video on Byredo cosmetics/fragrances? They have REALLY increased in popularity in the last decade due to marketing and overall aesthetic and I don't know much about the label itself. Their products are quite average quality for my experience with high prices due to packaging and perceived exclusivity.
I always wanted to say ‘on Disney Channel at 5/6 central’ even though I had absolutely no idea what it meant or why there were two (sometimes three depending on the state) times on the screen 😂
i have fleur de pêcher in my collection but i honestly bought it just because it has peach tree flower notes in it (which i thought was going to be similar to peach note but turns out not lol), the fact that it was a KL perfume wasn't that important to me, in fact i was even surprised that karl lagerfeld had a perfume line??? proof that it lacks of the prestige it previously had (most of the perfumes you talked about were out before i was even born so...)
Honestly same, I dont remember the karl perfume line when it was successful, but I knew the bottle made in 2014 for the namesake label abd immediately knew what the perfumes were about. Im glad theyre changing the brand now, but I was more surprised that they had such a long history before it was bastardised
I've always considered his brand to be tacky and name-loud if that makes sense. I don't like the guy so I will stay away from his brand alive or dead but I can appreciate the rebranding. If only they did that with his accessories such as bags. I don't want some dude's name on my bag I'm not a walking ad. Looking at you too Marc Jacobs with your effin tote bag lol. Love your videos and I appreciate you trying to pronounce every single french word you see but some of them were way off. I don't blame you lol french sucks. Orchidée is pronounced like "orchid" in english so with the "ch" sounding like a "k" + the ée. Same for "parfum", don't ask me why but the "m" at the end is supposed to sound like "un" (like one in french).
Thank you for the french lesson 💕 (genuinely, Im not being sarcastic, I try to learn but its tough when I really only have books and movies) And if youre interested in more about this brand, esp in relation to bags and such, you should check out my other two videos on him on the understitch, channel because honestly theyre some of my best work
@@underskinYT Yeah sometimes even listening is tough because you don't have someone to break it down for you and you're just relying on your ears. But to be honest, you're making a huge effort in trying and it shows, and I appreciate it, it's not easy. And joke's on you I've already watched them, I'm subbed to both your channels. I was never interested in fashion, I was just looking from afar. But now that I finally have confidence in my body it's really fun and as with anything I cannot help but want to learn more. Your videos are very informative for someone new to this and they are the first I watched relating to the fashion industry ! Thanks to you !

I was wondering about Versace, too. Saved a compact from those days for years and regrettably tossed it a few years ago.
Another amazing video. I wanted to suggest the old Guess fragrance that was legendary in the 90s. I remember my mom loving it and coveting that last bottle she had when it was discontinued and she couldn't get anymore
OMG, yes, that was when Guess jeans for all the rage too. I’m sure when I start doing High Street retailers, I will do a tie in with that

I would really love to cover more perfume brands tbh, but still trying to figure out what gets the clicks while I grow 🥰
Chloe Narsis is an amazing fragrance. It's rare and expensive now.
Love your fashion and cosmetic 💄 videos! Appreciate how you dive into the business side of things. Thank you!
Im so glad to hear you watch both 🥰
Belle époque shopping ladies.🤔
With a deep strong sweet wind of perfume draping after they pass by 🤩
I love the middle eastern ladies with their strong perfume, that always smells so good
Another great episode! I think the 2017 rebrand and new release of perfumes are great! I often find myself purchasing these as a ‘ go to ‘ daily perfume!!
The newer perfumes are definitely a step in the right direction, im glad theyre not going down with the fashion brands ship
Great video! I must have totally forgotten about Lagerfeld parfums but I recognise the ones from 2014. I really like the changes from 2017 onwards though as the perfumes look so much more appealing.
I also had no idea, or at least forgot that they were making perfumes before 2014. But I do prefer the direction the direction theyre going in now.

that would actually be so interesting, I dont know another fragrance company working so much to push an inclusivity perspective
I will never forgive them for discontinuing K.L. Homme.
Excellent presentation, who are you and why don't you have your own time slot on American Television? Maybe you do, I've gotta look into it

where do you find the music for these videos from? great vid btw
Thank you so much. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video, I actually made the background song for this channel 😇

KL was my go-to when it was released.
It seemed like a really well recieved perfume in general tbh
Lagerfeld Classic is my favorite cologne of all time.👍🏻
It has some great reviews, Ive never seen it in real life though
KL Homme is so gorgeous. I still have and wear it.
Im so jealous, I would love to give it a whiff

His clothes line didnt took a run. 😒
The clothes line was awful, such a shell, but one day itll eb revived I bet
This was fascinating! I had no idea that Karl Lagerfeld had a perfum line
Thank you so much, and yeah, it used to be great, shame it fell so hard
