Nice playing and demo. How tight is the tremolo action on the unit? Is it flexible enough to sound good on Beck-like songs (Where Were You for example)?
No person who installed this tremolo, shows in video, how the guitar accommodates itself in the case. Turning the arm back (like a Bigsby) is still high, so I don't think I can put it in the case. Please, tell me about it.
Great video and sound! I just got one of these Trems... love it! But your's seems to move out of the way much easier... like mine the movement from left to right to get it out of the way is quite stiff... does anyone know how to loosen it a bit!? Other than that,... it's an amazing piece of kit... for a fraction of the price of Bigsby!
I just installed one of these on a lefty "Eastwood" baritone guitar...I really like it, just two issues: One, it sticks up pretty proud, so my case is not happy....Two, the bar has about 10mm of "play", where nothing happens within that range; is there any way to tweak or adjust the cap that holds the arm? It seems to be getting loose, which I think is causing this "play"...
Clamp it with something and bend it slightly so it doesn't stick out so much - it's what I've done to every whammy bar so it's just where I want it. I'm not sure what your second prob is exactly but wedging stuff in whammy holes usually makes them sit nice n stiff and you can probably glue a small piece of something somewhere to help with something... that's as specific as I'm gonna be 👍 Guitars are there to be modded till they suit their player so just get on with it lad 😉 ...name me one great guitar player who modified their instrument...? ...oh right yep virtually every single one of em 😁
looks like you may have the same problem I had with mine though, which is when the term drops away, the tail behind the pivot point flicks towards the bridge and hits my hand when I played. I got rid of mine for that reason. annoyed the crap out of me.
3 questions. First: When you play two strings at the same time and bend one of them the other one stays in tune? Second: If a string break do the others stay in tune? Is it possible to higher the notes with the wammy bar or it's just lower the note? Thanks in advance!
This behave like a regular tremolo . If u bend other string goes out of tune also yes to break string and you can pull up on it to higher the note . Cheers!
I had a starplayer tv , sold in 2015 ! And just bought a Les Trem 2 for my Les Paul, with a roller bridge....tuning problems do not stop :( A luthier changed my nut for a TUSQ XL ( lubrificated effect !!) anc change the the bridge for the roller one ...still disapointed with tuning !!! Did you had to change something ....? Best regards from France
I don't have ADHD. it's a review of a trem and he barely touches the trem or demonstrates its range. just the odd tiny wobble. As a review this does not explore the range of this trem.
If I did have ADHD why would that preclude me shopping for a trem? Do you believe people with mental disorders shouldn't be allowed to use vibrato on guitar? pls clarify. thanks.
there was a period when I did not own a trem. It was sometime before I could detect the source of the terrible emptiness I felt and again fix it. I use trem all the time. No straight notes!
wheres the les trem action???! no dive bombs, no squeals, not pitch harmonics, no flutter lead playing...however! NICE playing, so everyone is a critic, but I am just commenting that you have your title there, and well, guitarists may, and I say may expect some serious action on that trem, because it is a VERY cool adaptation to a Gibson! Well done though and thank you for sharing!
Hi Roland Lemus, Thank you for you comment . Now you have to understand everyone uses tremolo in different ways my title reads Les Trem II duesenberg NOT REVIEWING or TESTING the Les Trem II duesenberg so this is my playing with it after installation nothing else Cheers !
Oh my! Great guitar and great playing. Love those Les Trem's too.
it also looks nice on a Gibson. Great Demo dude, thx! I just ordered one for my SG Standard 61 *smile

Super fluid but it can be adjusted

Are you demoing the tremolo or just showing off your playing? You played way more without the tremolo.
You probably need to read the title again, I never said it was a review.
I considered doing this exact same thing. A p-90 dc lp style with lest rem.
Great chops!! Does it effect any right hand techniques, like palm muting?
I cant really rember affecting my palm muting but i clearly remember not as good as a strat trem still good tho.

Wrap tape around at fixing. It works fine.

No super easy to install ... tuning problems still there Les Pauls have a flaw design to my opinion.
Locking tuners ?
Fantastic lead runs
Thank You!
Love those P90s! Can the trem arm be kept tighter so that it stays put, and won't drop down when you let go of it? Thanks
Yes you can setup the trem arm as you like . cheers!
¿Y al trémolo lo usas?
What the you say sir ?
Great tone and tasty playing. The trem looks good on your DC Gibson and it sure does not eat up the sustain ! \m/
Your sound and playing are great, man!
Which gear do You use? Really big sounding!
Thx Bud, for this video i used a Small Marshal JTM30 2x10 with some pedals , basic
Thanks, real big sound!
Javier Lima May I ask which pedals? Especially at the beginning? It really does sound faaaat.
@@LimaVideoProductions which pedals?
@@alejandroblanco2071 A Mashall JTM and a nova drive i think
Hi, with that kind of tremolo, fit good on the hard case?
Freddy C.D fits perfect on the original case
thanks brother.
56s in and very little trem action going on.
+sirvidia 1m25s he does a bit
Hahaha - If your ADD is that bad - you really shouldn't be shopping for a trem. 2:44 ?
