Thank you but there is recent information given by Cardiologists whereby LDL is not necessarily the “bad” cholesterol. You have to look at the quality of it not quantity. Listen to medical doctors that are practicing the Carnivore diet - especially Cardiologists.

Love the explanation. Most of these guys can’t get to the point and just use too many analogies.

There are a huge number of benefits of ketosis beyond weight loss.

Can too much Protein pull you out of Keto? If so, is there a number, ex 1g protein per Lbs bw
Also, thoughts on how long someone should stay in Keto?
    Thank you

That used to be what people thought but it doesn't appear to be the case especially if someone is in a calorie deficit. As for how long, it really depends on why you would want to do it but being in ketosis itself isn't inherently unhealthy so someone could theoretically stay in ketosis indefinitely. I don't think anyone "should" ever "have to" be in ketosis though...

Most of that is correct but you don't need to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight. I've lost 50lb eating my TDEE. The reason you lose weight is because less insulin is released in the blood streem on a high fat diet. Insulin tells triggers your cells to store. You also need to increase electrolyte intake. Colesterol isn't an issue, that's like blaming the bandage for the cut its covering.

      What is TDEE?

      Total daily energy expenditure

Eating your TDEE is being in a calorie deficit. Your TDEE is less than the amount of calories needed to maintain your current weight.
