Pittsburghs food scene is a-lot more diverse than burgers, fries, and your typical items you can get at quick service type restaurants. The Japanese food is awesome, Nigerian, Thai, Indian, Italian, Polish, German. So many choices and will take a long time to go through them all. Also, Pittsburgh has a-lot of fine dinging options with some of the best buildings for restaurants. One of my favorite fine dining is called the grand concourse (you can get lunch and other items here as well). It was built from an old 1900’s grand train station. I put Pittsburghs food scene on par if not better than Phillys, thats for sure.
I totally agree. There's some very fine dining establishments here with some amazing views of the city based in skyscraper buildings. All of the ethnicity of restaurants isn't on par, as African cuisine here is basically non-existent but every other ethnicities you mentioned have establishments, especially the Asian eateries.
Most Pittsburghers say Primantis is "okay" because they been there like a 100 times. It is probably one the best "signature" food that is synonymous with a city, and I tried them all as I travelled a lot. Skip the steak and get any other sandwich and stick to the original in the strip and most out of towners rave about it.
Anything of the Tall Boy is top tier!! I work at the Primanti Brothers and I will always recommend the Tall Boy section..... PB Reuben is my favorite! But the Capone would have to be my second! You definitely missed out on a great Sammy!😢❤
Something really cool about Penn Brewery is that there are lagering caves still there that were dug into the side of Troy Hill in the 1860s. It's how they cooled the beer before refrigeration. The caves are a constant 55 degrees.
@@TheDetourDuo Not sure you can go in them as of yet. Hey- let’s review the foods of pittsburgh! Most iconic food? Let’s skip it. Oh wait- It turns out pierogies are on the menu at the church brew works? Let’s just not mention that and hope no one notices it. Oh? The sandwiches that are nationally known from this city? We’ll skip that too because….. someone else said it’s over rated.
Thanks for giving me someone else’s opinion and not yours.
Remind me not to waste anymore time on your biased videos.
Perfectly okay with that. Have a nice day!
"Decided" to skip Primantis!? Literally can't watch the video past this point. 😂👎
Wow, so you watched mored than half the video! Thanks for the algorithm push at least, and for watching as far as you did! 🤣 👍🏾
Why does the girl always say..."I feel like..." She does not feel, she thinks. Feeling is a response to a sensation like hot or cold. Confusing emotion with thought is the sign of a weak mind.
Well, I feel like you may be confusing your lack of emotional intelligence with intellectual superiority. But hey, that's just a thought.
