I cooked a number of years in backcountry hunting camps. You are the real deal. Love your channel and the tips you give... Keep cookin my fellow cooks.🤗
Thank you!!!!
I've become quite the "cook" from watching your videos, thanks for the inspiration. I really enjoy the creativity, keep em coming Matt!!
I love that!
Found the channel back in June and encouraged me to get my first smoker. The wife and I base our entire weekly dinners around cooking outside! I have all of the seasonings and we have loved learning all about smoking, grilling, and using the meat church lineup. Thank you so much for the years of videos on your channel! Keep em coming!
I LOVE THIS FEEDBACK!!!!!!! Thank you! -Matt
My favorite content creator on TH-cam. What a passion Matt has for BBQ and an infectious like ability. I too love bourbon and BBQ. Thanks for making such great content!
What a cool compliment, Brian. Thanks so much for being here!!!! -Matt

@@MeatChurchBBQ Presuit episode, I remember that.
As an Aussie I’ve learnt so much about Texas BBQ thanks to you, my outdoor smoker area is Texas themed also
That is awesome! The Que Club in Melbourne are my guys. They bring my product to Australia.
I took Beef Ribs out the freezer YESTERDAY. And TODAY, I see this video! Matt, Thank you so much for ALL you do. Your spices are OVER THE TOP.
I really appreciate it!!
Nailed it again. Because of Mr Pittman, this old vet in a wheelchair out smokes the neighbor
I love that! Thank you for your service!!!
Thank you for your service sir
What a GREAT company Meat Church is!!!
Matt, you are Awsome!!
I commented after I made the “party ribs” for my buddies on football Sunday 2 weeks ago, and you responded!!!
I was sooo excited, I took a screenshot and showed everyone!!!
Very cool!!👍🏻🥰
That is super cool. Thank you for making one of my recipes and thank you for sharing with others. You are why I do what I do. Thanks for being here Sean. -Matt
These last two videos have really made me rethink the way I’m cooking both pork and beef ribs definitely giving both a try thanks for the ideas 😎🍺
Mix it up!
Life is good when you're pouring Weller into barbecue sauce. Well done sir, well done.
You got that right!
I've been telling my friends about beef ribs, and these look amazing. Thanks for the instructions!
Welcome!
Quite the flex using Weller Special Reserve for a BBQ sauce when your neighbors one state east can't even find Weller SR on a shelf just to drink...lol
Interesting Weller SR is very obtainable here which is one of the reasons I used it. Buffalo Trace is great also.
Mid shelf mixer until a bunch of bros made whisky their entire personality.
@@MeatChurchBBQ Next to impossible to find Weller, Eagle Rare, EH Taylor on a shelf around here. There's plenty of good bourbon to be found, but the ones that used to be $25-$35 and easy to find are now double the price and hard to find.
Not an intended flex, just crappy distribution and the 3 tier system. It is obtainable for MSRP in a lot of places, at the prices by me this recipe would use about $60 in bourbon! Lots of other choices, I am definitely making this sauce, just with a different whiskey!
I’ve actually found that Four Roses is a great low-priced bourbon for cooking. It’s what I’ll use for Old-Fashioneds as well. EH Taylor is my go-to for bourbon, but extremely hard to come by where I live. I luck out occasionally and when I find a bottle, I buy it, just because I never know when the next time I find it will be
You just make BBQ so much fun to watch and the recipes are to die for.
I really appreciate that.
Something that looks so amazing but so simple to make. Good stuff.
It was!
I’d love to see your bourbon collection sometime. Big whiskey guy here.
Can you imagine how many people are gonna hit liquor stores asking for Weller SR to make bbq sauce with after this?

Good BBQ and Good Bourbon in the same video. Nicely done!
Thank you kindly!
I'm laughing hard "doesn't matter which side of the foil". Every time I go to foil something I seem to have an internal mental battle on which side to use. Another great recipe and look forward to replicating.
lol yep!
Goodness those look incredible! What a perfect rib!
Thanks!
definitely adding this one to my game day rotation
Enjoy!
love beef ribs thanks for the sauce i bet it is crazy good.
So good!
Matt is back to rocking the G-shock on his wrist. He has been uptown with a Rolex the last several videos. Nice
I've prolly worn Gshocks in 98% of my videos over the years. Huge collector!
Tried the pork ribs from last week. Loved them so much I made another batch for the people at work. Looking forward to trying the beef ones soon.
That is awesome. Spreading the gospel of smoked meats!
Congratulations on your seasoning being available at my local Lowe's 🎉
THANKS!
As always…love your videos. Keep it up. Looks awesome.
Thanks for being here! -Matt
These little cut up plate rib pieces were my first foray into BBQ beef several years ago, and were perfect for my Weber Smokey Joe. Since then I have graduated to full slabs of plate ribs on my OG Weber kettle. These beef ribs are very forgiving and can take a lot of smoke. So satisfying! I made a slab of beef plate ribs last Christmas and served them with horseradish, like a prime rib.
That is cool!
Cant wait to try these babys out! Thanks for sharing!
My pleasure!
The way you measured the bourbon was the best 😆
Measure with your heart. ;)
Looking forward to trying this for my Family
I hope they enjoy!
I just made Baby back party ribs a few days ago on my new offset smoker and they were the best ribs I have ever made. After watching this I know what is next.
That is awesome. Very rewarding when a cook comes out perfect! -Matt
Matt... Beef short ribs are the 👑 King of the smoker
100000% agree with you. Best bite in BBQ.
I'm gonna have to try this then! Beef! It's what's for dinner!
Man made to texas for the first time yesterday wish y’all were closer to san antonio !!! Matt is my bbq hero
I appreciate the love!
Smoking a weekday brisket now for the family, can’t wait to try this recipe next! Thanks Matt
AWESOME! Popular video and technique.
Looks mighty fine!!
Thanks Scot!
Yes indeed! Might Fine! 😋
Bourbon and Nikes (and I heard a Roll Tide in another video)…we could be best friends. But for real, this is my favorite channel. Learned so much…and my Texas family loves you too!! Thank you sir!!
Thank you!!!! -Matt
Weller is my go to , going to have to make the sauce for sure .
@@kmackiss fantastic!
Matt knows some things about manufacturing , love it :)
Cheers!
Everything about this is YUM! 😋

I am having a hard time getting past the Dallas Cowboys part but man I am the super star cook every weekend since I bought a smoker (about a year ago) and have been following your videos!
Thanks!
#SteelersNation
Appreciate it! PS - I'm a Najee fan. Roll Tide!
Looks delish Matt, will need to try these for sure.
Enjoy!
My heart (and stomach) absolutely love you Matt and these videos.... my wallet and bank account...not so much. Thank you for such detailed and well paced videos, they make this journey of smoking that much more enjoyable.
I appreciate that feedback and thank you for being here.
They look gooood.
Beef ribs are crazy expensive up here north of the boarder, so I would cook these for close friends, and save the pork party ribs for my auxiliary friends.😁
haha great plan
"bourbon and nikes"😂😂 love that!
No lies!
The second you took your first bite my mouth started watering. Good Job! Cheers
HAHA Awesome!! They are good!
I'm thinking I might have to try these with some bison short ribs! Thanks so much for your recipes!
Please do!
Awesome i got some on my offset today used the same seasoning too gives great flavor and color
BAD ASS!!!
mad looks delicious will be making these tomorrow from Aus love the vids
Cheers! Hit up Que Club in Melbourne for our stuff.
I've been making these for years and quite possibly my favorite thing to put on the smoker!! Well done! 🍻
Love it!
Those beef ribs look so delicious Matt. Here in the area in Arizona where I live I don’t see that kind of ribs. It’s definitely a must keep recipe. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks for watching!!
very well done and top it off bourbon BBQ sauce I'm going to do this Sat thanks Matt
I hope you enjoy!
@@MeatChurchBBQ Ill let you knwo
These look amazing. I was also very happy to discover that BBQ Outfitters in Austin carries your seasonings!
For so long now. Such a great retail partner!
That looks damn good, and gets put on the "must try" list!👍
Enjoy!!!
trying these tomorrow thanks for another great video
Hope it was good!
@@MeatChurchBBQ turned out great thanks
Definitely making these this weekend
I hope you enjoy!
I can vouch for those party pork ribs from the other video he mentioned. Did them on a Traeger Pellet smoker and they were fast, coated on all sides with flavor, and as good as any done as a complete rack. Will never do racks again, lol - so much longer.
And yet, as good as those are, I look at these party beef ribs, and suddenly I want to make a detour heading home, lol. Nom noms!
haha, thanks Kevin!
I make these at least once a month. Cheap way to fix the bbq itch. Need to try the sauce though. Great video again. Thanks.
Nice!!
This is a great recipe. Especially the sauce. My curiosity is in the BIG cow cutting/serving board with the inlaid hog & yard bird !!! 😳👍🏼
Rosewood Block made it for me. rosewoodblock.com/
Looks fantastic, going to try the beef party ribs this weekend!
Keep me posted!
@@MeatChurchBBQ Following your recipe for the ribs and sauce, they were excellent!
looks great!! I like that outdoor burner your using!
Carolina Cooker
Look Amazing!
Thanks!
11:34 "... way better than pork ribs!" Yeouza! That caught my attention! I gotta make these now! 😋
enjoy!
Holy Moses those look good!!
YESSIR!
I'm a bourbon collector also. I like Wellers. The Special Reserve is a good cheap, every day, sipping bourbon. And good for sauces. I love the Antique 107. One of my favorites. Dino beef ribs are my favorite bite of bbq. I've been wanting to try the short ribs. I always change my mind when I'm at the store. Lol. I'm going to have to try this. It's Hatch pepper season right now. My bbq sauce recipe is very similar to yours. I like using jalapeños in my bbq sauce. This year I'm going to try the Hatch peppers in my bbq sauce. Thanks for the video Matt. I'm definitely going to have to try this with the short ribs..
Weller 107 is the perfect proof!
Matt, those are some great looking Dino Pops. I am going to have to try this one.
Good name for them!
Wish I could give 2 thumbs up! Love your content and products!
I really wish Wellers was available where I'm at in Oregon...I miss the reserve and the 107.
107 is def a fav!
Looks absolutely amazing!! Gonna give this a try!
Have fun!
The ribs look fantastic. I will give this a shot next week.
Enjoy!
Can't wait to try these, the party ribs were awesome!
Hope you enjoy!
I think I need these
I know you do!
@papascruffy We all think you need to get a life. A hobby. Find some friends.
They look amazing. I thought I was ballsy using Crown Peach in one of my BBQ sauces...Weller is another level LOL!
cheers!
@@MeatChurchBBQ 🍻
Great video Matt! Might be $11 in Texas, but here in Nova Scotia, quite a bit more for quality. That said, this is how I do my ribs as generally we only get individual beef ribs, not as a 3 or 4.
Thanks for sharing.!!!
Sounds great!
Luv the cap measuring method! Following from New Orleans
Cheers!
We got a little potluck at work going on soon. I offered to make a brisket using your weekday brisket recipe (what a winner btw). Our Sr manager caught wind of this and decided him and our production manager will show up to taste test. Got some big heads coming in, hoping I can impress them with your recipes!
That is awesome!
Picked up your new hickory rub yesterday. Got some short ribs seasoned up and ready to smoke!
Thank you. Hope you enjoy it!!!!
Those look money def gonna make them
ENJOY!!!!!
Dang they look great 👍 👌
thank you!
Love your content what's a party without bourbon a party party as long as you have Miller Lite
true
Another good 1 Matt!! Can't wait to fire up the pit for college football Saturday to give this 1 a try.
Hope you enjoy it!
Looks amazing. I will be trying these along with the riblets when i get back down to Florida in a few weeks.
Enjoy!!
Looks yummmy...(drool)... 🙂
It was!
Awesome I just did the party ribs last Saturday and they were great, a little too sweet but great. I'll be trying these as well
Fantastic!!
I've been seeing this cut of beef rib at Costco (instead of the full rack) and I've been curious on how to cook them. Thanks Matt!
Have fun!
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
I did this with beef back ribs from costco that were cut up already. Not a lot of meat on there but would make a good appetizer or GameDay snack
Great call!
I saw Weller and CLICKED!!
AWESOME!!!
An awesome cook. Looks so good. Cheers, Matt! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
Thanks!
I like to smoke these, then put them in a dutch oven with some beef stock and braise them down for tacos. I will have to try having them this way.
Same here. I usually braise them.
Short-ribs in Ohio are nearly double that amount. Pretty sure we have cows here too, so that is crazy. Thanks Matt
You bet!
Looks great, nice video. One thing we have been doing also is just cooking individuals to steak temp and reverse searing. Great cook when a little more time crunched.
Sounds great!
Man those look awesome!
They were!!!
Mouthwatering!
YEP!
You’re the best Pitmaster in Texas
@@tucksmith8300 I appreciate that!!
@@MeatChurchBBQ you’re welcome !!! I have been following you since you were on BBQ Pitmasters show
This is why I always buy from you guys. Support our locals. #northtexas
Thanks!!
You had me at bourbon. They looked perfectly done after the bite.
I appreciate that David. Cheers!
We're fortunate in DFW that Weller Special Reserve (green label) is easy to find the big 1.75 liter handles at MSRP ($40-50) monthly at the 3 big liquor store chains.
I came across a store in Angel Fire, NM that was trying to charge $160 for a WSR handle! 🤯
Easy to find here for sure.
Great video as always. Keep it up!! I usually just smoke the whole rack of beef ribs when I smoke, so it is very interesting to see you chop them up. Thanks for the detail on that. I will try that the next time I smoke beef ribs! You should check out my video on Brisket burnt ends!! They are lights out!
Sounds great!
I just received all the dry rubs love your products man
Thank you so much!!!!!
@@MeatChurchBBQ how long should the bbq sauce be good for ? If stored in fridge?
I'm doing the party ribs for the Alabama-Georgia game this week!
ROLL TIDE!
Guys are having a stroke watching Wellerz get dumped in a bbq sauce 😂. Im in Ohio where we see a lot of green, definitely making this.
LOLOL, that made me laugh. Sounds like Ohio and Texas are lucky!
The dull side of the foil is because they run this stuff two layers at a time through the machine and the sides that touch each other cause the dullness.
