regarding ski-mo it's the other way around really. he started running to support his ski-mo fitness during the summer months.
Yes, you're right! At the beginning of his career, skimo was more significant for him, and running during the summer helped him maintain his fitness for the winter season. It was a win-win for both disciplines! Thanks for your comment.
what an incredible athlete (and human being)
LOVED this video with a lot of the treadmill and cross training and other behind the scenes footage showing how much he kills himself in training but the focus in the video on his level of detail and how much detail you put into explaining it is really next level. Does he do any strength training and/or stretching? and the why's or why nots would great to know.
liked the shots of him running with packs and puffy jackets tied around his waste and such.

Kilian focuses heavily on applied training with a lot of volume, rather than strength training like some other athletes. We'll definitely expand on his unique approach in our upcoming videos. :)

Don’t waste your time, he run far ever since he could run, he does ultra distance at 12yo, same way with khabib nurmagomedov with 29W-0L in ufc, been wrestling ever since he could crawl. what makes elite athlete is not “what” training, its “when” they start + the “what”.
