It’s a lot smarter if you do it right o think, because then if she’s not interested she can turn down the invite without rejecting you as hard because it wasn’t exactly a date offering. Then you’re not as a crushed as the guy or awkward as the girl. It also protects you from girls who turn you down really harshly, though that could just be in movies mostly. But either way it’s safer and less awkward. And it also lets you get a feel for the person without fully initiating a full date. It’s like a pre thing.

This was a GREAT personal view into the beginnings of the Berg family! I have a VERY similar meet with my wife, minus I’m not a Dr. I’m an electrical contractor and went to a job. From there it’s almost identical…27 years later I’m still with the ❤️ of my life.
