    Really good tutorial. This has helped me to improve my logical thinking in houdini way. Looking forward to see more from you.

    I had a weird problem at 25:21. The points wouldn't go up no matter what I typed into the parameter. But when I go up one level and then go into the geometry node again, it updated. It works but not while being in the geometry node. Does anyone know why this could be?
    EDIT: As soon as I did the next step and plugged the subtract into the Cd output, it works and updates automatically. Weird

    Really nice ! You are right it looks better than the original. May I ask what software do you use to highlight the screen (red squares/circles) ? Thank you

    Would you be able to do a fluid simulation tutorial? This video is great! Thanks

    Thanks for such detailed approach. Also bought it on gumroad. One question though - who to speedup infection area growth without "target edge length" in [fast_remesh] node?

      Hi. Thank you for kind words , solver methods for doing growths stuff is quite tricky to control precisely. In this case I’m might suggest to have more than 1 substep in solver node , so if you set it to 2 it will do twice as much calculation in 1 frame and should be faster to grow. Or you could try to add something bigger then 1 each frame to age attribute inside of the solver . Haven’t test all of these myself , you know sometimes I just use retime node to brute force my way to desired results.
      Also checkout my latest video with grow attribute hda it’s quite handy and not depended on solvers or anything.

    Does the system work over a flip geo where the polycount is changing every frame?

    what if you don't have access to labs? is there an alternative way of grouping into the buckets through the regular remesh tool?

    • @arbikerimov
      @arbikerimov  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      well, in houdini there is always a way to build it on your own, but by default i think there is no node for that kind of remeshing
      And even though i used labs fast remesh, but you don't have - it's just matter of speed and that's
      You can get away with using just remesh, it's just one time remeshing, not each frame, so yeah

    Arbi, please speak up in your next tutorial. I don't know why this trend of mumbling into microphones is a thing when recording speech for tutorials. It does not make anyone sophisticated if that was a thing to mumble about. It's plain annoying and off putting. This is a nice tutorial, and your technique is fine. Just speak up or open a paid Patreon that will be ignored, just don't post mumble speech tutorials on TH-cam. My two cents worth of opinion. Thank you.

      Hi, thank you for feedback. This tutorial was put together in a night , because I didn’t have time to do it in another day , so I did it after work .
      I already tried to make my voice better in my next tutorials on this channel.
      I’m doing this tutorials for free , and I don’t plan to make any money from it , I just want to give back to the community, and if you found my voice annoying - just don’t watch it .
      Again thanks , I’ll try to speak louder and cleaner next time
