You can just jump over the fire btw no need to roll because your hit box will still be in it
Another strat that helped me was to use a shield (i used mirror but there are better options) to trivialize all of PK's attacks - especially the fire aoe attack he does. Using stamina boosting talismans and flasks of physick, coupled with a thrusting sword allowed me to attack while blocking and keep my stamina up.
Thanks a lot for the info! I have yet to struggle with bosses up til this point. Dropped Bayle right before this. I was shocked how much harder this boss has been!
You got this. It's hard to read this boss; he has an odd model and unfamiliar movements.
Blasphemous Blade and the weapon art with fire boosting talismans paired with the Mimic are the only real way I found to beating this guy. It's 95% rolling and 5% attacking. Sacrifice your Mimic, attack only when you're absolutely sure there is no follow up attacks and eventually his poise will break. Once you get the riposte, at the expense of your Mimic, you will win the fight.
3:49 Been meaning to ask for the longest while. When you buff up with the usual incantations (eg: Golden Vow, Flame Grant Me Strength etc) either before going in to the boss's fog wall or as you did prior to jumping down to the arena....When there's a cut scene or during the time it takes to fall down (cutscene too I guess) does the duration of the buff incantations or potions pause taking that into consideration the cutscene and starts counting down when you do enter the arena or does it continue to drain during the entry or cutscene?
And BTW, where is the gold summon thing for Troiller? I didn't see it when you jumped down to the arena. I thought it may have been just ahead of where you landed but I didn't see the gold summon thing.
I'm not sure on the cutscene thing. Always wondered myself. I usually assume the counter doesn't pause and either skip the scene or buff after.
I didn't do Thiollier's quest so the summon sign wasn't there for me. It's near where you land.
@@CernyGaming I did the quest so the summon was there for me.
Yeah, that is a question about the counter I've been wondering about for the longest while. I usually try and buff before because by the time you enter boss's arena time is of the essence lest you get attacked off guard.
Crazy how basically every dlc boss is harder then Melania
Holy is his greatest weakness , Sacred Relic Sword or Coded Sword are great against him or a Bleed weapon like Bloodline and fire with the blasphemous sword
this boss is harder than radahn lol
I didn't mind this one, but a lot of people agree with you. I was lucky and had easy access to strong holy damage.
This build seems crazy what are you using?
It's mostly based around the Backhand Blades with Bloodhound's Step on them. I have very high Faith and Dex, 40 Vig, 25 Mind, 20 End.
@@CernyGaming does those build work throughout the whole playthrough?
@Norexed It's what I've used to great effect. Lots of incantations to choose from. Weapon choices have been Blasphemous Blade, Godskin Peeler, Black Knife, Sacred Relic. I recommend it. Fth/Dex can be very OP.
Good idea with bloodhounds step
A descent blasphemous blade build can take him in 4 takers flames
BB OP I love it
decent build = overlevelling to shit
@taylorpineau9477 For late game DLC this is not overlevelled.
Nice strategy, After an hour of "you died" screens, I decided to use Sacred Relic Sword. hahaha~ It worked. Wish I could see your video earlier so that I do not need to suffer. lol~~
That's so nice of you to say, thank you! Happy I could help!
Yeah I plan on using Sacred Relic sword with Wave of Gold myself. Fortunately I always have it on me. Last night I levelled up Faith to 80 for extra wave damage.
Thanks 4 Great video ❤❤❤❤
What are you saying 1:20??? And sideways Iran the horse??? What?!?

Folk either love or hate this one. I'm not a fan.
