@@EggsBenedict-te4nj well that's just lame, wastes the potential of the video imo, i mean it just seems like an excuse cause they dont know how to make a good guide video 🤷♂️
@@EggsBenedict-te4njnot to mention those "I'll show you where certain item is" videos where 7 minutes are about the player fighting 400 enemies instead of running with torrent straight up to the item.
At the end of the day, the Palace Approach is still the best place to farm. If you're on NG+, I don't think farming the spider hands in the Hinterlands for Runes and Smithing stones isn't as efficient as it seems. You gain more runes now in NG+ so buying them from the The Twin Husk wouldn't be too much for you anymore.
Yo you went to the dlc. There is the bridge farm. Where the golem burns everything on the bridge. Basically you sit at the grace , walk over till the golem starts his animation, once it kneels down run back to the grace and rest, the flame attack hit box will kill everything after the reset, so you kill everything on the bridge twice. With rune acquisition gear it's like 45k in 20s in NG.
Regarding the Greyoll farm (#4), everybody says get on Torrent as soon as the death animation triggers. The best you can do is take her health down in chunks (bleed, frostbite), so if you're paying attention to how big the chunks are, you can get on Torrent BEFORE the last chunk of health; stand parallel to Greyoll's body, positioning your camera to face the Site of Grace; and finish Greyoll off with mounted attacks. As soon as she twitches, ride back to the Site of Grace; I'd almost guarantee you'll make it every time. I've found that using the Poison Mist incantation paired with the Mace's Spinning Chain AoW, buffed with Bloodflame Blade, is the fastest way to whittle down Greyoll's health; once you have Torrent, you can ride down to Weeping Peninsula for the incantation and up to Liurnia to the Rose Church without fighting anything. And if you lack the stats to wield everything, use the Silver Ball farm at Lenne's Rise to get the necessary runes to level up.
To add greatly to the speed of Greyoll, if you are doing the right build, the dragon dies far faster. Hit it with Rotten Breath to get those ticks rolling while using a bleed weapon with Bloodflame Blade rolling. It takes roughly the time for one BB to run out for it to die.
There's another at Deeproot Depths. Make your way to the grace site just before the Lich Dragon arena. Go back down the root west towards the ground, taking any opportunity to take out the stationary gargoyles. There's 4-5 you can easily kill and they yield quite a bit.
A much better rune farm for before renala is behind the storm hill shack where you can find a field of trolls that give about 1000 runes each and they’re just far enough apart to take on one at a time (just be careful at night because a death bird is near there)
there is? ive never seen it when i used that farm. and just to note, the flame of frenzy spell is very useful for this spot, as it munches through the troll's poise. my general game plan was flame of frenzy, unsheathe, then riposte once the troll was knocked over. they usually don't even get the chance to fight back.
That spot carried me through the early game (at least to raya lucaria) xD As a sorcerer: meteorite staff+ rock sling for nice damage and especially that sweet sweet stagger. One-two-three slings to the chest to start the stagger, another one to the legs while the troll fall down, sprint ahead, punish and than swing the melee quickly another one or two times for good measure (if by chance the troll still have a sliver of HP). Trust me, it takes more time to explain than to do xD
Big Ball outside Lenne's Rise is a great early game farm, ride down the hill, pull a 180 to avoid the ball then run back to the grace & repeat. 2500 with a fowl foot, 20-30 second run so it's about 20k runes in 3 minutes without killing anything, just riding up & down a hill. Once you get to lvl 40ish it's not great but still enough for a coupla levels & upgrades
@@ViolentMessiah666 True. For me at least, I know to grab the reduvia and hesd straight for the big ahh dragon. Sit there for an hour. Get to about lvl 120. Then speed blitz the game.
@@keriheatfan3 haha yup, best way to start a game: get torrent, grab chicken foot from near Waypoint, down to fight Nerijus & Patches, get cookbook, farm chicken feet from around 4th Church, over to 3rd Church, Physicka, teleport, go to Roundtable, fast travel back, farm Big Ball, run through Faroth for Soreseal, kill Greyoll for a bit, back to Limgrave start the game as normal. Whole thing takes about 1h 20 but even my low skill ass can clear Limgrave & Liurnia in a coupla hours & not be too OP for Caelid. I'm one of those weirdos that loves Caelid, bring on ye rot, I ain't scared. It's got some great boss fights & open world loot
@@ViolentMessiah666 Caelid is the honey pot of the game. People try to avoid it cause it looks creepy and its hard but it has every bit of starter loot people need.
i did the math between the Palace and the Hinterlands. so far without the bird you get a total of 123,015 runes per go while in hinterlands you go 116,815 runes per go after killing all the enemies in the video. it was hard at first for the hinterlands because the person started off with runes already so i the end value of 904,333 runs minus the beginning amount of 787,518 runs and got 116,815 runes. so in the end of the day the Palace is overall the best rune farm in elden ring beating the Hinterlands rune farm by 6,200 runes. if anyone in the comment section want to ask questions to me about my math then i would love to talk and answer your question. Now go fourth tarnished and become Elden lord!
Palace is waaay faster. Don't do full runs. It wastes time. Do on aow and reset after it reaches it's end. 60-70k in 10 seconds. Pop one foot and you get like 1.3 mil in 3 minutes.
Don't see how anything is better than Albinauric spot... You can reach it in like 4-5 hours after starting the game. So you get to farm the bird early or the albis with the aow. You also did it wrong... if you only do one aow and reset it is way more effective. You get at least 60k every 10 seconds. Skip the bird and use all the rune boosters and you will get 1.3 mil within 3 minutes.
P.A.L is my go-to so I can just watch videos or shows/movies or whatever while I do it. In 5-10 minutes, I have 1 mil runes (with golden scarab and gold pickled fowl foot). The DLC farm at the Hinterlands is hard for some reason because those larger finger creepers are so aggressive, I've died multiple times.
I found out in the dlc from the first rise sight of grace all there is is a bunch of flies and candle guys with the golden scarab it's usually right around 99k and with a golden horn tender added a minimum of 120k and the candle people can all drop the golden horn tender while the flies will sometimes drop the silver horn tender making very self sustaining ice gotten over 2 mil in under a single hour
This is my go-to as well. Takes me about 3 minutes to kill the big hornsent guy, and all the hornsent priests, and usually nets about 100k without any rune boosting items.
@@whitesmoke08 yeah I noticed that too and since even at level 712 a single level up is 8,886,000 or there abouts even when you hit there it's only a couple hours of farming
Two things of note for the palace ledge, it is faster to sprint up and throw one gold wave and sprint back to the SoG, On a first run with a golden scarab talisman, you are looking and 30k in like 10 seconds. Second, the Bird up there, if you don't want to waste runes on arrows, even though they are cheap you can use Rock Sling. From the SoG, run to the cliff edge, lock on to the bird, cast Rock Sling twice. First will make noise the bird will check out, second will hit, and like the arrow method, the bird only has around a 90% to 95% chance of running off.
with the load times its more like 30k in 15 seconds for a single wave cycle and adding the bird just makes the farm more tedious, slower and less reliable
@@shellshocktm I use the bird farm until i have a Sacred Relic Sword. And my 10 second assessment was based on my loading speeds on a PS5. I timed my runs. But still, even at 15 seconds for 30K, that is still over 100K a minute.
In Mohg Palace, I do the Full run. I go down the cliff and use the sacred Blade twice. Turn to the Left and shoot the Bird. Then I continue down the cliff and kill everybody that area. There’s another 30 enemies down there. I get $300K with gold beetle in 4-5 minutes. And I use my mimic Spirit. Equip the Blasphemy Sword on Left hand to get healing bonus. There’s also another Farm area in Caelid. Far south near the Bridge towards the Castle. There’s Dogs Fighting the soldiers. You can find a spot and hang out and they’ll kill each other and afterwards just finish them off if you are low level. You can use your Spirit Ash. Killing the Birds, soldiers, and dogs you can get $50-60k.
i assume sacred relic blade has to be +10? I just beat elden ring and planning to farm here for a while before moving on to DLC, not sure if i want to use a somber dragon stone on it
I find hitting the bird only produces the best runes per minute. When you get good at hitting the bird anyway. I use the gold scarab and a gold pickled foul foot and get a run done in about 15 seconds getting 17,250. After that, why waste precious time doing anything else? I get about 340,000 in 5 minutes. Also, hitting the bird at night, occasionally gives you over 60,000 in a run. Like maybe 1 in 40 times.
@@poetscane8492 36-40k in like 6seconds vs 17.5k in 15? Honestly the way he showed to do the albinauric farm in the video is quite inefficient. Just use one wave and reset rather than going down and doing another two.
I was thinking the opposite. I think just hitting the first wave and going back to the site will yield a better rune per minute. If getting to all of them takes lets say 50 seconds..then in that same time period you can hit the first wave..go back to the Site of Grace and repeat probably 5 times in that span. Those extra seconds actually do hurt your yield in the time you spend. I haven't beat the game to get the sword that does that..but it looks like the first wave you hit is the biggest one. So I would just keep doing that one and not waste any time on the other waves.
@@poetscane8492 You're totally right. It's much more efficient and does earn more in the long run at a faster rate. No denying that. I'm just weird and sometimes go for the random few I missed.
I got bored with just the beginning I now shoot the bird then "wave" my way all the way down to the tree loop around fast travel back to the grace and go again
But using the exp boost items and just doing the first wave and going back to the grace is nice 3 mins (well I think it's 3 mins never timed it) of boosted exp
@poetscane8492 legit bro you correct, you run up swipe once and run back sit down, repeat. can hear the runes adding while loading screens up aswell as a more continuous flow of runes. Even "sprinting" to and from the grace helps. The extra 4 seconds you spend to make an extra 10k ain't worth it when it takes you 10mins per lvl. I'm lvl 400 and takes me about 7-8mins to amount the 1.8mill needed to level up, WITH gold feet and scarab.
Probably the most efficient way to do the Palace Approach Ledge, especially with the fowl foot, is to run to the left where the first albinauric is near the edge, use the wave of gold slightly at an angle to the right, and then quickly turn to the left while switching to your bow in the other hand, and then aim and fire at the bird, which will always be in a really easy position to hit from there, and then you can quickly run back to the grace not needing to worry about the bird, as you'll always get it's runes (though every once in a while it doesn't go off the edge for some reason). It's really quick, and with the fowl foot, even better, since you don't go far from the grace site.
That's way too much time spent. I don't have the sword that waves fire..but watching how many runes this guy got doing the wave, I now see that just hitting the bird produces a better result. He got 6255 per wave. He hit two waves bring it to 12,510. Then he sniped the bird and got about about 26,000. I haven't beaten the game and use the fowl foot and the scarab talisman and get 17,250 hitting the bird. So if he got more..I assume he's on a new game plus or greater. Meaning that 12,510 he got would be a good amount less if I did it. The thing that makes the bird better is how close you are to the grace. This helps your rune per minute tremendously. I'm good at the bird so I usually get a run done in about 13 seconds. Lets say 15 just to make it seem more challenging. So that's around 69,000 per minute I'm getting. On the first playthrough. Also, do it only at night, because every now and then you get 55,000 to 60 something thousand on a run, depending if you have rune boosting things equipped. I guess PS4 or Xbox One would bring the per minute number down a good bit due to loading times. But for a PS5 and I assume Xbox Series X, once you get really good at hitting the bird, you're going to get way more runes.
@@poetscane8492 Yeah, the game for some reason says 6255 but that isn't actually the correct amount, as he mentioned in the video that he gets at least 100,000 runes every time. In my case, I'm only on NG+1, and for me it says 5889 but doing as I mentioned above, on that single use of the Wave of Gold, I actually get 79472 with the Golden Scarab, and then I turn and hit the bird and get 26491. So that's 105963 each run. And I timed myself, and I do it quicker than 20 seconds, but let's just say 20 seconds. So that's 317889 every minute. That's just with the Golden Scarab. If I do it with the Fowl Foot, I get 95661 and then 34438 for the bird, which comes to 130099 each run. So that's 390297 each minute for me with the Fowl Foot and the Scarab. And lastly, if I do with the new Golden Horn Tender with the Scarab, I get 103021 + 37087 for the bird, which gives me 140108 for each run. So that's 420324 runes each minute with the Golden Horn Tender and the Scarab.
@@stephenmoore9975 thanks for the clarity..nice work! Try just hitting that wave one time for that estimated 33,000 and going to grace and repeat. Time it by the minute. I haven't done it..but logic tells me you'll probably get more runes per minute.
@@poetscane8492 Just saying on NG With sacred relic sword and golden scarab talisman without any gold pickled fowl foot I get 36k from them and it takes around the same amount of time I think to do the albinaurics as it does to kill the bird, so the albinauric farm is still better than the bird imo. Edit- Also I don't use 2 waves for the albinaurics. Just use one and immediately run back to grace.
@@radical_measures yes..had I known at the time you get significantly more than 6,000 a wave, I'd have acknowledged that method. But definitely, utilize the close proximity to the grace by doing it once and coming right back in 6 seconds..I can't see how spending time on a second wave would yield more.
Zamor Ruins can get you a quick 60k runes. The only place I heavily rune farm is the Mogwhyn Mausoleum, most of the time I'm just trying to top off before a difficult area so I won't lose 70% of a level's worth of runes.
The true best rune farms are: Rolling Stones, into hidden hand Sleeping Dragon, into edging Big Bird, into (once you've acquired the weapons to do it) Genocide. This is the way. Anything else is pointless really. So if you're a new player, don't take this video all too seriously.
The best rune farm in every souls game is trading with friends/other players. There are subreddits where you can easily find people willing to give runes up for free. And they don't lose anything because they just restore their save backup, which is also something you can do in every souls game. But yes, the drawback of that method is having to interact with other people, the horror! xD
Might not be the absolute fastest runes, but in the DLC if you have a build that can one-shot wolves from torrent, if you start at the Bridge Leading to the Village sight of grace and travel north, clearing all the wolves in the area before the furnace golum gives around 100k runes, and spooking the owl and running away for a bit will cause about 40k runes worth of wolves to bunch up at the location where the owl was. If you continue past the furnace golum there's another 100k runes worth of wolves split between the area around the Church District Highroad sight of grace and the cliffs west of Cathedral of Manus Metyr. Each run around the entire area takes a several minutes, but doing both areas back to back gives about 200k runes. You just have to live with the guilt of farming dogs/wolves.
Best early game afk ruin farm is the impassable greatbridge sight of grace. Radahn soliders fight mutated dogs. You can kite more dogs, a mutated crow, and a mounted redmane knight into the melee. Just ride out to trigger the fight, go and lure surrounding enemies into the fight and then double back to take the tower (5 mobs) to have a safe perch for a few moments of afk before going out to pick off survivors and pillage corpses.
The bug farm outside Malenia's hideout is good too. Take the lift up from Haligtree Roots, Kill the bug at the top, straight out the entrance and hang a left. Whole herd of bug dudes there, and most of 'em have their backs turned. Snap up 100K runes in just a couple minutes, easy peasy
Honestly for the DLC I use the one where the furnace golem takes out the entire bridge of enemies for you. You can do that one REALLY fast and if you do it at night sometimes the shade thing will be in place of the normal enemies and they drop a bit more runes. You do nothing but stand there, wait for him to start the blast then rest and the enemies will reset in the flame pillar so you'll get two sets of enemies in one go. Of course have your rune gather buffs on and you can get so many runes very quickly. Very handy if you're low on runes and need to upgrade a weapon. Best part is you dont need any special weapons or anything. Just do the DLC and get to the area. I forget the name.
Albinauric farm is the best once you kill the Elden Beast. When I first got to Liurnia (NG) I completed Varre's quest ASAP to get to that area and used a bow to farm the bird, easily got to like level 260 in a few hours of grinding. Came back again for another round with the Sacred Relic Sword and farmed the Albinaurics to level 310ish, but this took more time than I thought it would just because of the scaling. Coming back in NG+ though, wow with 2x the gains its nice again I got to level 450+ eventually with a few 3 hour sessions.
Another farm method early in the game is killing the two golens that guard the elevator that leads to the capital. Talking down those two enemies gives you around 4.400 runes and there's a site of grace very near by. It can get boring real quickly, but it is a very fast, safe (as long as you kill the golem with the bow first) and effective way to farm runes.
To add greatly to the speed of Greyoll, if you are doing the right build, the dragon dies far faster. Hit it with Rotten Breath to get those ticks rolling while using a bleed weapon with Bloodflame Blade rolling. It takes roughly the time for one BB to run out for it to die.
If you are on PC. You can use the Grand Merchant mod, it's safe to use as long as you don't buy unused content or items, you can just go back online as soon as you finish buying everything you want. It took only a few minutes to max out your level also eliminating farming for unnecessary/hard/rare resources. Or an alternative way is gonna take time and 1 friend and at least 1 Lord's Rune or Marika's Rune in DLC. What you do is duping those Runes up to 699, make a backup save and from there you can just repeat by save and reload the save file over and over again. Generally it took me at least 2 hours including the setup and maxing my level. Or Mohg's palace still by far the best farming spot.
I know this wont work for some people, but what i do is farm the palace approach using the starscorge sword skill. you can take them all out quickly and get a lot of runes. wont work for many people, but it might work for some of you. Yes i found this out on my own, on NG
I found the palace approach ledge on my own and when i noticed how many runes i got from the enemies I decided to farm it for a while and leveled up a lot (you can use the Starscourage Greatsword to farm it btw - a little slower but doable). Still my go to farm spot, however it does get really boring very quickly (I'd recommend playing some music to not get bored).
I do the boulder one, level up and then beat margit and godrick (you could skip margit if you wanted to). Then do varre’s quest line which is usually very quick and then I’m in mohg’s area. I just use Irina for the maiden. You can buy a bow from a merchant. You could probably do it in like 2 hours and then you just need to farm the bird there.
Pallace approach ledge is really easy to get early by invading people. Plus if you get the golden scarab talisman the bird drops a lot of runes. Really handy when I need to buy smithing stones in order to level up my weapon. Im on ng+4 and I don't level up more so it drops around 30k souls. Kill it once or twice and you're good to go
PAL + Sacred relic sword + golden scarab talisman + gold pickled foul foot is the best way to farm runes period. The best way to use it is to go to the rock jutting out, use the wave of gold ONCE and immediately turn back and rest because moving ahead and using it twice makes the farm inefficient. One cycle should take around 15 seconds and net a little over 30k runes so by that calculation this farm makes 120k+ runes per minute (7.2 mil/hour!) on new game. It only multiplies more in subsequent NG+ playthroughs. In early game farming the bird is efficient (25k per minute) and mid game use starcaller fury on the albinaurics (50-60k per minute). Getting to PAL is easy enough too, just skip margit and find varre in liurnia, take the finger and invade 3 times, then use irina for maiden's blood.
For the dragon farm (or any point in the game) you can do a maual save prior to doing the farm run, just in case you miss the dragon reset. You can do this by making a copy of your .sl2 file, and in case you miss the reset just paste the .sl2 file back.
To add greatly to the speed of Greyoll, if you are doing the right build, the dragon dies far faster. Hit it with Rotten Breath to get those ticks rolling while using a bleed weapon with Bloodflame Blade rolling. It takes roughly the time for one BB to run out for it to die.
it seems like the palace approach is just the best overall, it does get boring quite fast but there really isn't much that outclasses it with how quick it is. i figured with the DLC that there might be just more runes to be had but they must've thought a little ahead as there aren't many chances to get quick and easy runes, still though it's good to know that once you beat the final boss you don't instantly roll credits, and you can still use it's item to farm, at least that's what it looks like.
9:20 or you get up from the sight of grace, run to that first rock/spot where the guy in the video used the “waves of gold”, and then run back to the sight of grace and repeat. It get 27k-35k each time and it’s way faster than what he showed. If you’re able to get to that place before THE END OF THE GAME where you get that sword then just run between the sight of grace and the cliff side, shoot the bird once, and then the bird should throw itself off the cliff to try to run at you which will get you 10,245 runes every 10-30 seconds/per each cycle.
Lenne's Rise magical ball farm is the best early-mid game farm before Bird Farm/Frog dude farm. Lower level players aren't gonna one shot the Vulgar Militia. But anyone can kite the magical ball off the cliff. 1900 runes every 30 seconds. 19k+ every 5 minutes.
So I do the palace approach but I also do that area below it in the water. I dnt go past to the birds on the left not the summoners in the deeper forest. And there is three caves on the right hand side that hold a couple to 5 enemies in them. But I get around 450k runes on Newgame +1 in one cycle through. I use the gold serpent ring and the golden picked fowl foot. Use relic sword and your horse. Shard of Alexander and faith at 80 helps. 😊
Do Varre's quest Go to Moghwyn palace Second to last Grace Jump off the map through the hole in geometry - great amount runes for mid game, no special weapon needed, and it kills Mogh.
Palace Ledge is still the best to this day. Forget the dumb bird, forget the excess albinuracs in the back, literally pop a gold fowl foot, gold wave on the lil rock that’s slightly tilted next to the grace, then run back and sit, repeat that and you’ll get to like 2 million by the time the fowl foot is done.
The hinterland one is double that amount of runes. You start at the bridge with the serpents, after them there should be three mobs of hands, the last is over to the left around the cave entrance to the giant creeper mini boss. With ng+1 and all rune increase drops buff/talisman I get like 800k runes doing the full thing. Should be able to get 400k in first play through.
All these videos are the same Lol If you don't know by now, the best fm is the Pallace approach in the Mogh Dynasty. You need the Elden beast sword. I am currently on Level 415 and need million runes for one level!😢😢😢
@@tiennamni I am on New game + 10. I think with each play through the difficulty increases by 15%. I neededrhe Dex, Strength and Arcane for my bleed build. But sone of the incantations need Faith and Intelligence at over 30. Some of the best players have their builds at over 700. I won't do that. I wanted to be able to change my build for every boss and challenge, sometimes even with larval tear. The DLC, hits like a train! Mesmer, was a real eye opener for me. I never used those sacred tears until that boss fight. The ne t one was that damn Scadutree Avatar AKA giant Sunflower. There I needed a strong fire build with Blasphemous blade. This game is both exciting and it forces you to rethink and adapt. I used Malikeths armour like right of passage. Now, I wear the Albunarics mask etc. Anyway, you will see fir yourself. I am very average. I don't game a lot. But Elden Ring it me hard. I got angry with it because I wanted to prove to myself that I was capable of completing and getting platinum with a AAA game.
@@tiennamniAnother small tip... Those stringfaces enemies drop "Sacrificial Twigs". They ate a great way of saving runes. I once managed to get to about 13million runes by using those twigs and farming them. Lol😂😂😂 I know, I am crazy. I need to stop and move on. At least my wife would appreciate that.
Palace approach with wave of gold is still the ultimate king for endgame. For all else it really is best to just play the game. That boss will go down fine with a few more attempts more than a few more _____. The only time I'd bother is if you are at a point where a few quick levels could be 150 or so hit points, then fine go kill vulgar militia outside the beastial sanctum.
outside mohgs place is 17k per run if you kill the blood disciple guy and have the golden beetle, NG+1 it jumps to 47-49k per run and its super easy with radahns greatsword ability.
There is an even easier farm for brand new players that doesn't require any combat. The Impassable Greatbridge site of grace in Caelid is right next to a giant fire pit. Around that fire pit are 4 giant dogs and about 20 Radahan soldiers. From the site of grace get on Torrent and head NW past the giant fire pit and double jump onto the giant rock formation. You literally just stand there while the soldiers and dogs kill each other. If you want, once they have thinned out the heard you can go down and clean up the rest, or just go back and rest at the site and repeat it. I will say it is not a tremendous amount of runes (about 16k in 5 min), but there is ZERO risk of dying. Also note that the soldiers will often drop a bunch of items that can be sold for additional runes.
with greyoll in caelid i recomend using the flail ash of war and when you see is at 1 blood loss hop on torrent and use the ash of war and when the dying animation starts just run
8:12 to geth there is so fucking easy. the NPC questline is fast and you can get in 10 min to Mohg 1. speak with WHITE MASK VARRÉ near the spawn. 2. defeat Margit 3. go to the table and meet the two fingers 4. go to the Rose Church 5.1. invade 3 times someone if you have Online funktion like PS+ or Gamepass 5.2. if you dont have internet pass got to the WRITHEBLOOD RUINS (endgame area. so it make the 10 min to 30/40 min if you are fast) and kill the Invader npc 6. after this you get the LORD OF BLOOD'S FAVOR and have 4 option to use it. 6.1. go to the Church of Inhibition 6.2. go back to the Chapel of Anticipation (start area, needs a magic kye stone) 6.3. kill Irina 6.4. kill Hyetta (she is not the ebst option because her questline is wilarl be one everbody needs for the frenzied Flame) 7. go back to Varre and you get the item to go to Mohg. most of this ways are done in 10 to 15 min. 12:15 similar Runes? did i miss something? the last time i checked this place it was so much lower. because you need a fucking minut for this place to kill every wurm. and PAL need just 10 sec. this place give me 71484 runes in 110 sec with out the Grace walk (on foot walk 11 sec, with the horse 8 sec walk. need teleport back to be faster, so you cant use a gold foot or horn). Before: 1511291 After: 1582775 result: 71484 PAL give me 98115 runes in 10 sec with out the Grace walk (foot walk 4 sec and dont need teleport back. so you can use an gold foot or horn) Before: 1582775 After: 1680890 result: 98115 both in NG+ and only goldScarab which means, fingerhill ist with 71k per Min least than mohgs palace with 500k per min nothing beats PAL. sry but this place is trash. same with the ruins of rauh east. this place is trash to. if you want to level up fast go near Mohg Palace and kill the Albinaurics. they give in ng+ 5887 runes with scrab. Finger hill only 3400 and for the Upgrade stones you can buy them in the round table in the shop or by the troll Iji.
With your P.A.L farm. Just run up to the rock, use the Relic Sword then run back and start over. All the going down the hill and using it 3 times then fiddling around for the bow is an absolute waste of time. By the time you do your run I could've tripled your output with the one swing then rest.
In farm 3 just do the 1 wave of gold and rest at the grace dont bother with the bird or going further down.. u can do 50-60k with that one wave if gold and reset n repeat takes literally 10 seconds per 50-60k… 1 minute of this is 300k+ runes…
Rune gain caps at NG+7 but the bosses get harder and the enemies keep getting harder. you could run straight through the game for 6 ng cycles and get massive amounts of runes from the palace approach farm but you're then not only wasting your own time by running through the game 6 times but also by doing it just to make your farm better by a few thousand. ng+ roughly doubles your rune gain for every enemy but after that you start seeing diminishing returns. It's not pointless to farm and level up faster but you hit a point of diminishing returns after a short while of farming the palace approach. especially if you're trying to hit max level. The cost to payout ratio decreases exponentially with every 100 levels.
Im always go for dragon first until im lvl 50 then im gonna explore then kill margit then see varre then go kill invader then go mogwyn palace until im lvl 100-120
Farming is an admission to your weakness or laziness, if you play the game normally you don't need to farm as long as you learned how to dance with the enemies. Daddy! I want Elden ring. But son, being a warrior with a sword won't help you in real life. But daddy I want to become a farmer! Alright then I'll buy you Farming Simulator 22.
upgrade the weapon as much as possible, though +9 is fine. use stuff like shard of alexander and sacred scorpion charm to reach the overkill threshold.
With the first one most new players wont have a dragon incant plus for those new players a lot of those mobs are not 1 hit. The bestial sanctum one is trash when you have lenne's rise just over the bridge in front of you and there is less risk of dying and losing the runes, also if you go the lennes rise just grab the uchi or the flail and go see the big ass dragon. Palace is still the best for time taken to runes collected plus actually easy to get to.
To add greatly to the speed of Greyoll, if you are doing the right build, the dragon dies far faster. Hit it with Rotten Breath to get those ticks rolling while using a bleed weapon with Bloodflame Blade rolling. It takes roughly the time for one BB to run out for it to die.
Nothing beats or comes close to Farm 3 especially if you have the golden scarab and use the fowl feet and you set it to night. If you set it to night there is a bigger chance you get the creatures with glowing eyes, when their eyes are glowing not sure the exact amount but its like 3-5 x the amount of runes.Level up the same weapon as well and you for sure are getting millions of runes an hour. Its what I used to get up to level 424
Exactly. Hitting the bird only I find is the best way. Since it's so close to the grace. Get good at it and you'll get a run done and already be back for the next one in about 15 seconds. Equipped the way you said brings in 69,000 per minute..plus the around 1 in 40 times that you'll get over 60,000 on a run. It beats out waving at those Alberics. More runes may seem better..but if you're getting more runes in too long a time..then you're just decking out some fly rims on a hooptie.
@@poetscane8492 It does not come close to beating the albinaurics. the test have been done. the albinaurics are easier to kill, and you cant accidentally despawn the albinaurics like you can with the bird.
@@spongbobsquarepants3922 yes. I've been made aware of this after someone, I think the poster of this video, cleared up that you get way more than the 6,000 runes you see on his screen when he eliminates a wave. I think this is the third time I'm dialing what I said back in the comments of this video..They should be in replies to other posts. I've yet to beat the game, so i lack the sword that gets this done..but I also said, and do believe, hitting one wave and hitting the grace on repeat, will produce a better result than taking the time to hit a second wave, and definitely a third.
I dont know where the trend started but yall really gotta start showing map locations cause these sped up runs are just silly to follow

At the end of the day, the Palace Approach is still the best place to farm. If you're on NG+, I don't think farming the spider hands in the Hinterlands for Runes and Smithing stones isn't as efficient as it seems. You gain more runes now in NG+ so buying them from the The Twin Husk wouldn't be too much for you anymore.
your better off farming the snakes on your way to them as you'd get more from them then the hands
I find the hands a pain.
That's a lame Farm dude
@@ChristopherP-u6s it's not really a bad farm especially since you don't need to waste resources if your not built for it
@@ChristopherP-u6swhy?
@@chaosdragon4236there are way better farms that do not require lots of resources
That's really only useful if you don't have the final boss' weapon since you get around 40k in 6 seconds at the mohgwyn palace farm
After a few game plays I stopped killing this dragon and used it as target practice to test out my damage on my builds. Works awesome🤣🤣🤣
That spot carried me through the early game (at least to raya lucaria) xD
As a sorcerer: meteorite staff+ rock sling for nice damage and especially that sweet sweet stagger.
One-two-three slings to the chest to start the stagger, another one to the legs while the troll fall down, sprint ahead, punish and than swing the melee quickly another one or two times for good measure (if by chance the troll still have a sliver of HP). Trust me, it takes more time to explain than to do xD
There are only two good farms. Mohg area for mid to late game and the big ass dragon for early.
This
Big Ball outside Lenne's Rise is a great early game farm, ride down the hill, pull a 180 to avoid the ball then run back to the grace & repeat. 2500 with a fowl foot, 20-30 second run so it's about 20k runes in 3 minutes without killing anything, just riding up & down a hill. Once you get to lvl 40ish it's not great but still enough for a coupla levels & upgrades

i did the math between the Palace and the Hinterlands. so far without the bird you get a total of 123,015 runes per go while in hinterlands you go 116,815 runes per go after killing all the enemies in the video. it was hard at first for the hinterlands because the person started off with runes already so i the end value of 904,333 runs minus the beginning amount of 787,518 runs and got 116,815 runes. so in the end of the day the Palace is overall the best rune farm in elden ring beating the Hinterlands rune farm by 6,200 runes. if anyone in the comment section want to ask questions to me about my math then i would love to talk and answer your question. Now go fourth tarnished and become Elden lord!
you have to factor in time and Palace is way quicker than Hinterlands
Palace is waaay faster. Don't do full runs. It wastes time. Do on aow and reset after it reaches it's end. 60-70k in 10 seconds.
Pop one foot and you get like 1.3 mil in 3 minutes.
Is there any alternative i can use in place of relic sword
Don't see how anything is better than Albinauric spot... You can reach it in like 4-5 hours after starting the game. So you get to farm the bird early or the albis with the aow. You also did it wrong... if you only do one aow and reset it is way more effective. You get at least 60k every 10 seconds. Skip the bird and use all the rune boosters and you will get 1.3 mil within 3 minutes.

@@Cheesyknobcheese Palace Approach Ledge, a grace at the Mohgwyn Dynasty area

Im glad there is someone else firing off that extra wave at the alb's. Those extra 2-3 missed kills add up. An extra 2-3 seconds never hurt anyone. 😊
The true best rune farms are:
Rolling Stones, into hidden hand Sleeping Dragon, into edging Big Bird, into (once you've acquired the weapons to do it) Genocide.
This is the way. Anything else is pointless really. So if you're a new player, don't take this video all too seriously.
Agreed, but I didn't do the rolling stones instead I farmed the nearby militia guys for 1313 per pop.
I feel like any rune farm is good’ least u guys are helping us out lol keep it up bro 👍🏼
Appreciate you man!
Yeah, I usually shoot big bird either on my way too, or from the grace at that spot.
Nice one i recently started sorting my storage
good video! helped a lot
Do Varre's quest
Go to Moghwyn palace
Second to last Grace
Jump off the map through the hole in geometry
- great amount runes for mid game, no special weapon needed, and it kills Mogh.
Bro i just need lvl 165 to complete game why u need more lvl when u already 415
I'm on my first playthrough and currently farming there. What's the rune gain on each NG+?
Wait, you warn beginners about guys in Horses in the first spot, while also recommending rotten breath, which you get after beating Ekzykez in caelid?
I like to farm all the soilders around the prayer room in Miquelas haligtree, easy 70k runes for a few min work
Farm 3 is extremely easy to get to💀 literally took me 30mins or so when i first started the game let alone now that im in NG
Using claws with bloodflame blade applied will speed up killing Greyoll immensely.
outside mohgs place is 17k per run if you kill the blood disciple guy and have the golden beetle, NG+1 it jumps to 47-49k per run and its super easy with radahns greatsword ability.
Ive been clearing the Castle Front campsites (SotE) for a measly 30-40k.
I am lvl. 244 and NG+2. Thats 550k+ per level if you aren’t this high yet
Nice if i want to test weapons though
Instead of farm I want good DLC location with bunch of decently strong enemy to test my weapons on any recommendations?
I need one too. Tired of killing the omens in the Leyndell underground
you can also do the ball one that's under the bridge just trick it into falling for 2k runes
Bloody slash and the big dragon in caelid is my go-to farm for early game
I mean Killing Grayoll once makes me feel bad enough (she’s literally on her deathbed surrounded by her children), but doing over and over…yeah pass
Early game if your already going to Caelid you mite as well do the Rolling Ball at the Rise tower and/or kill the big sleeping dragon at the fort.
Beginner here, lvl 22, if I choose palace, how do I get an op ale ? Which one would you recommend?
If you get to mogh palace site of grace were you kill the frogs you can shoot the bird and it will run of the edge and give 10k runes per kill
with greyoll in caelid i recomend using the flail ash of war and when you see is at 1 blood loss hop on torrent and use the ash of war and when the dying animation starts just run
Which armor set have You in farm 1? Thanks in advance.
8:12 to geth there is so fucking easy.
the NPC questline is fast and you can get in 10 min to Mohg
1. speak with WHITE MASK VARRÉ near the spawn.
2. defeat Margit
3. go to the table and meet the two fingers
4. go to the Rose Church
5.1. invade 3 times someone if you have Online funktion like PS+ or Gamepass
5.2. if you dont have internet pass got to the WRITHEBLOOD RUINS (endgame area. so it make the 10 min to 30/40 min if you are fast) and kill the Invader npc
6. after this you get the LORD OF BLOOD'S FAVOR and have 4 option to use it.
6.1. go to the Church of Inhibition
6.2. go back to the Chapel of Anticipation (start area, needs a magic kye stone)
6.3. kill Irina
6.4. kill Hyetta (she is not the ebst option because her questline is wilarl be one everbody needs for the frenzied Flame)
7. go back to Varre and you get the item to go to Mohg.
most of this ways are done in 10 to 15 min.
Before: 1511291
After: 1582775
result: 71484
PAL give me 98115 runes in 10 sec with out the Grace walk (foot walk 4 sec and dont need teleport back. so you can use an gold foot or horn)
Before: 1582775
After: 1680890
result: 98115
both in NG+ and only goldScarab
which means, fingerhill ist with 71k per Min least than mohgs palace with 500k per min
nothing beats PAL.
sry but this place is trash. same with the ruins of rauh east. this place is trash to. if you want to level up fast go near Mohg Palace and kill the Albinaurics.
they give in ng+ 5887 runes with scrab. Finger hill only 3400
and for the Upgrade stones you can buy them in the round table in the shop or by the troll Iji.
Tell em 😂
What is PAL?
@@aight7204 Short form for palace approach ledge
Its the Grace near mohg which IS Most used for rune farm
You need to kill a great rune holder, so you need to do either Godrick, Rennala, Rykard or Radahn to unlock the Varre quest.
@@aight7204 Probably Palace Approach Ledge Road. shortened to PAL by skyfallen.
With your P.A.L farm. Just run up to the rock, use the Relic Sword then run back and start over. All the going down the hill and using it 3 times then fiddling around for the bow is an absolute waste of time. By the time you do your run I could've tripled your output with the one swing then rest.
Ng +1 with golden scarab amulet and golden pickle on albinorics one swing 100 k per 15 seconds best farm ever
Across The Roots site of grace, then just zap the 3 statues with spells and repeat.
11:00 I would recommend the Twinblade with the blood affinity, fast attacks + common bleed applications
in conclusion Mohg Pallace place is still the best spot
By a mile... still.
If y’all don’t understand just use tiny task I overnight the ledge
I killed greyoll, but i didnt watch a walkthrough till the end to see they could respawn 😢😢😢
Albinauric farm is both lore and gameplay friendly so it's superior
Im always go for dragon first until im lvl 50 then im gonna explore then kill margit then see varre then go kill invader then go mogwyn palace until im lvl 100-120
Use blasfamus if u don't have and game sword, then u can get it in maybe 3?
The P.A.L method remains the most optimal rune farm even after the DLC
😂
Thank you for this video.❤
You can easily just farm the bird, it’s like 10000 runes on ng, it takes 20 seconds, and you only need a bow and arrows
İn the farm 4,you can use flail and bloodyblade skill to kill tge dragon twice in one golden foot
River cave farm in dlc is close to palace approach
Farming is an admission to your weakness or laziness, if you play the game normally you don't need to farm as long as you learned how to dance with the enemies.
Daddy! I want Elden ring.
But son, being a warrior with a sword won't help you in real life.
But daddy I want to become a farmer!
Alright then I'll buy you Farming Simulator 22.
For Farm 3 how much should I upgrade the blade or my character for an instant kill on the enemies?
upgrade the weapon as much as possible, though +9 is fine. use stuff like shard of alexander and sacred scorpion charm to reach the overkill threshold.
It takes roughly the time for one BB to run out for it to die.
is there a good replacement for the sacred relic sword because yk its from the final boss of the game
I like using the Rotten Breath incantation, it’s got great range
@@GamingExploits thank you ill go try it out
Im just playing with save files and manage to get 270m runes in 30 min
hello, i am a beginer of Elden Ring, what is the spell you use at 13min 00sec ? (like big yellow wave that kill everything) thx !
That's a weapon art special to the weapon. You get it from the last boss
After 2 or 3 playthroughs, I'd rather just drop myself runes to buy upgrade materials 😭🤣
Where did you get the rotten breath from?
farm in farum azula 6k rune/ 1 soldier :))
I was doing the dragon farm but then my controller disconnected at the worst time possible.😢
Literally RIGHT next to farm 3 is a bird farm :>
On Farm 3 how did you get 28147 runes for a bird?
Haligtree root farm is my favourite
Hard saving is the best and most times saving of the all
Sleeping dragon method is much better for begginers giving you 50k per 3-4 minutes.
How hard is it to just mark the location on the map and show us?
Gaius get stronger for each albinauric you killed on the cliff
I accidentally killed it in another game, now in the new one, I keep hitting the dragon but don’t get that 13000 damage
What should i do???
Does the weapon have bleed? You just have to hit it a lot
I make 120k runes every 15 to 20 sek with the weapon from the elden beast
Truly the best rune farm is a rune duping farm w/multiplayer 😅
Number 4 can't be considered a farm location at all
