If you don’t use or need the Pro features, the Plus really is the way to go. It’s camera, large screen, & battery life are really good.

I wish the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus have a refresh rate especially at that price range. The ultrawide cam is disappointing as it has fixed focus. The colour options are good but kind of misleading because of opaque finish back glass.

Definitely software locked by apple. It's cheaper to buy the same panels in bulk.

It means the regular non pro version. The base model. Vanilla in context is used when you mean something is normal, regular, or in some cases can even mean that something is plain or boring

No, especially since you are used to the high refresh rate
To correct 1 thing. The 2x zoom on 15 plus is digital. Not optical.
Cropping is literally cutting out a smaller part from a larger picture. It is purely a software thing. The main lens is fixed. There is nothing mechanical about zooming with it 2x.
@@user-np6qz2ed7i Cropping is all digital friend. The phone is cutting a smaller image out of a larger image. If you have a 3x telephoto and zoom to 3x then the phone will switch to that lens which is fixed closer to the object so to speak and then it will take a shot with that lens. This would not be cropping. And a periscope lens could zoom optically I think with moving parts inside it(don't quote me on that I am not entirely sure). In any case your main lens has a fixed focal length so it is physically impossible to zoom optically with it. I hope I am not coming across as mean or anything. Just trying to explain why cropping from the main lens cannot be optical zoom as they are two completely different things.

I don't know I think apple phones are becoming dated I switch to Samsung and I'm never going back, for now at least s23 ultra is king right now.
Same. I traded in my iPhone 13 Pro and added cash to get the S23 Ultra. Normally, I upgrade yearly but that will end with the Ultra. Feels so good that I think it can last 5 years.

Yeah my girlfriend's phone, an a54 256gb comes with 120hz and it costed only 270 usd. Literally 1/3 of the price. Whats the point of having the almighty a16 bionic if you cant flex it using multi-task or playing games at 120 fps?

Is it a great time to pick IPhone 14 ? Budget is little tight. Im an Android user since the beginning. Want to switch over for the first time. Could not go for IP15. How's the camera of IP14 . Need advise 🙏
My friends recently switched to ip 15 pro max from huawei p50 pro. We both got the p50 pro. I played around with the iphone the past few days and the UI is very bad in my opinion. Its smooth but there are so many little things that I can easily do on my phone that on the iphone i either need to do in a roundabout way or they are straight up missing as features. Sure you can get used to not having proper multitask features or needing to install apps in order to change the ringtone to a custom one. But to not be able to set different volumes for your alarm and ringtones is just wildly inexcusable to me. Specially if im playing a 1000 dollars for a phone. So if such things dont bother you it doesn't matter which iphone you will switch to or when. For me such things are a dealbraker.
There are a lot more things like that that annoy me but it will take me a lot of Time to list here. But there are many videos where people list those differences between android and iphone. You should check as many as you can before deciding to switch.

I'll tell you after I'm done watching the review as an s23+ user.
I'm done watching and if performance is your top priority then you gotta go with the iPhone. Although s23+ doesn't stutter for majority of the times, there are still rare situations where it does. Other than that s23+ is either on par with iPhone or better in rest of the aspects.

The audio at the end is awful quality for a phone that costs that much.
These phones should be $400 lower in price to be competitive. Big notch blocking content, 60 hz and 1080 screen are archaic and primitive.

It is not 1080p, it is retina so between 1080p and QHD. You mistook the more expensive S23+ that has 1080p and really you should complain about that being more expensive (UK) yet lower resolution.
