Just picked up a set of at3 LT 265/70/R17 121S to put on my 2019 Sierra 2500hd 6.0L 4x4 crew cab long box. Can’t wait to put them through the paces, towing, hauling, road tripping and hunting!
I just purchased these after hard research! I couldn’t find any bad reviews on them, just good ones. I like how it has more of a highway tread, but looks rugged! They make my Ram Rebel run smooth unlike the Dura tracks.
That’s great to hear! They’ve been a great tire for me, looks like they just came out with the next revision call the stronghold a/t that retiring the at3. Those will likely be my next tire they look great as well!
@Yea I was thinking of getting the strongholds but there wasn’t enough reviews on for being to new. And my local discount tire didn’t have them in stock. So I went with the older model. Thanks for your response buddy!
Just got them, on my 2012 Ram 2500 4x4. Did tons of research, homework, questioning, and this was my decision when i was ready to get new tires. Got them in size 315/70/17 load range E. So far, very smooth, quiet, and sure footed. Only time will tell, but im very pleased in my decision.
They are a great tire, I’m looking to get a little more experience is harsh winter and deep snow conditions with mine this year as last year was a very mild winter, other than that they’ve been great so far.
Ive had mine on my Silverado for 2yrs and almost 60k on them. I bought them after a friend recommended them. I dont really "offroad" as much as work sometimes takes me on gravel roads, and muddy pastures. But I like the sidewall aggressive look while being a great on road performer. I also wanted the E rated for pulling my 32 ft Travel Trailer. Ive found them to be really good in the rain and snow. Ive still got alot of tread left on them, but am starting to get some road noise from a little bit of feathering on one of the tires. But that was because of the truck being out of alignment for a few thousand miles. I religiously rotate them with each oil change, but these new Chevys tend to get out of alignment quicker than past ones. So not the tires fault. These tires even survived me accidently driving over some of those tire shredders the wrong way in a parking lot a year ago. As much as i like these tires, im like the poster, I do tend to want to try something else. Considering the new K03's....we will see, i hate to be disappointed and move away from what has been great tires. I have the Bridgestone Revos on my wifes Suburban and have had several versions of those on my last Silverado. They are nice, but not as aggressive and i dont think as good in wet and snow.
They are great tires and last long that’s for sure. I see the new Wildpeak at4w has just come out curious to see how those compare to the at3w. I ended up getting cooper at3 xlt for replacing these falkens as they were significantly lighter in weight for the same size, Time will tell if I get the same mileage out of them!
Very nice initial review, thanks for making it. I’ve been looking for some recent at3 reviews. I’m considering getting these for my tundra. Look forward to the updates.
Good review. I have these in a 275/70 18 on a 2020 F150 and have been very satisfied in both winter and summer. Good comfortable ride for an E rated tire.
So far they’ve been a great all terrain tire and very impressed in the light snow we have received this December already. For an E rated tire they’re surprisingly rather comfortable ride especially for a half ton truck!
Ive got these 31/10.5/15 on my n70 hilux most of my driving consists of ripping up gravel roads, these have an unreal amount of grip comfort and low noise, however because these have heaps of grip when I go do skids i have to really throw the truck and give it more in the clutch kick for it to step out, but that means im going a whole lot faster a whole lot scarier and they dig deep trenches wherever they are spinning. Ive swapped back to my bald muddies on the back, less grip more fun. Its different to handle with so much grip in the front and f*ck all in the rear but when i do spin out i can just steer it wherever to save and trust that i have grip to steer. All in all these go good on the road comfy, quiet, grippy. Gravel same thing but the treads tend to flick stones. The deeper tread depth tends to make it a little less responsive when turning but once they wear down they will stiffen up and handle better.
I ran a set of these, Load Range E, on my 2019 3500 SRW, rotated them every 4500-5000 miles, and only got about 42K miles out of them. Now running the Wildpeak 4s, heavier tire, but happy with it so far.
I’m getting my 2nd set of Cooper AT3/XLT tires 275/70/18 next week. I have around 58,000 on my current tires. Great tires, quiet and good traction in rain.
About to replace my cooper AT3’s after 105,000 km (maybe 65,000 miles) without the spare rotation. I’m in Australia so no snow/ice issues although I’m similar on approx 85-90% highway. Plenty of dirt trails , light to medium 4x4 ( nothing extreme) They have been very good tyres for me, probably a little slippery & touch under steer in wet last 8000km . Nothing unexpected as I’m just going full tyre life . Thanks for the review 👍
@@TrophyTimeAdventures definitely stick with Coopers although probably revert back to AT3 4S . For no other reason than my son is learning to drive and i believe the 4S has slightly, and I mean slightly better grip on road in wet & still enjoy benefits of the AT3 . More a parent decision I suppose.
@@TrophyTimeAdventures Thank you for your response. I am looking at these tires and the Firestone Destination XT & the BFGoodrich KO3. I’m in south central Pennsylvania and get all the seasons.
I’m running about 37 psi for the street with these. Here’s a good tire pressure calculator as a starting point if you’re running oversized tires. tiresize.com/pressure-calculator/
The wildpeaks I got over 60k on them and still had decent tread before replacing, then my k02 prior to that had about 45k on them with about 5/32” left on them. I replaced both sets going into winter for more tread depth. Hope that helps
Thank you, it does help a lot. I am looking to replace the tires on my f 350 and have been looking at different brands. Best I have done on that truck is 37k on my wildpeaks. This will be my fourth set at 112,000 miles.
Interesting yeah I imagine the 1 ton trucks will wear the tires faster than I experienced with the f150. I'm currently running the cooper at3 xlt tires so we'll see how those hold up for treadwear for me!

I've got them on my Tundra and they are awesome tires! I think better than most tires out there.

They do like to throw rocks! To be expected with deeper and aggressive tread. How many miles are on yours?

Be curious to see how the Wildpeak at4 does, I had the previous Wildpeak at3 and got great life out of them!
good review my guy, i am going for a quiet, snow focused all terrain tire for my land cruiser. you definitely helped me narrow down my choice
Thanks for watching!

They’re great tires, this is my first summer with them and they do excellent in the rain!
I have the AT3. XLT. And I love them

Rotation was key . Every 10,000 as you suggest is spot on
I agree definitely helps extend their life! Which tires do you plan to go with for replacing the coopers?

Nice I saw cooper came out with that new discoverer stronghold AT, curious to see how people like those. Pretty cool tread pattern and sidewall
I got some 285/75/16r about a month ago for a f250, they're great and look pretty good with my bullet hole rims
They have a nice aggressive all terrain sidewall!
Bro found the car that fits EXACTLY in his garage lol. Throw a hitch receiver on and you’re parking outside haha
Yeah it’s a tight fit!
Thanks from South Australia
You bet thanks for watching!
Nice looking truck!
Hey thank you!
How do they work in deep snow and slush and ice?
They’re a great tire for wintery conditions, here in Minnesota they are a great tire for those conditions!

WERE DID YOU BUY THEM AT.
Hey I got these from discount tire
How are they holding up during this winter?
So far so good, I’ve been very impressed with wet and winter traction, I haven’t tried deep snow yet as our winter as been pretty mild so far
Awesome! I ordered mine today after doing much research and ending it with your review. Appreciate your knowledge and opinion.
How much psi they need for the Street?
I’m running about 37 psi for the street with these. Here’s a good tire pressure calculator as a starting point if you’re running oversized tires.

You should clean them to get a better view.
Next video of them I’ll have them nice and clean haha
Why don't you wash the car?
It was definitely due for one
Why don’t you watch a different video?
um, um, um, um... so that's it, um
Thanks Ricky
