Awesome Scott - I’m seriously thinking of changing out to a LS and boxster transaxle this year. I need to talk with you guys. Glad to see you are still out there bringing 914’s to life.
Scott, I've got my 914, I've got my LS motor, and I've got my Boxster S Transaxle now......I'll be calling you soon to order the kit in a few days. Great video....... Roger Stegall U.S. Army in Germany
Love seeing this kind of thing! I need to get a v8 in my blown Boxster S...Turn the nightmare into a dream! :) Would love to see more of these types of videos, especially on 987 Boxster conversions.
I can't believe you did all that in one shot! I'm going to have to look at that hydraulic clutch master cylinder set up that sounds really interesting! Thanks again great video!
That's how much I hate editing! LOL. I think editing covers up so much potential truths. If you don't edit much, or at all, then people believe you more. I can do great creative editing, but a polished approach can be missleading to some. So, we just wing it when it comes to the informative videos like this. Our other videos meant to show off some pretty cars or whatever, will have loads of editing. When we stand in an engine bay and spew info, editing is not needed. Thanks!
@@RenegadeHybrids For me, editing covers up my miss-speaking moments (which happens a Lot) And lets me refer to my notes so I don't miss specific points of topic. And yes I HATE editing too!
It's about time you guys did a video for us TH-camrs! Looking forward to seeing more on this 914 conversion. Make sure you do a video on the new 944 conversion when it's ready. It might also be useful to do a video on the new 944 AC set up. -Don
Scott, thanks for the great videos and content! I have been in discussion with you and your guys about my 87 911 conversion. Do you plan to have a conversion video on one of those soon? I'm planning on doing a shop tour in Oct. prior to purchasing your LS3 conversion kit! Thanks
We have two air-cooled 911's in production, but they are both months off from nearing completion. Yes, a video is forthcoming, but I need a nearly completed subject before I can cover all the layers of the conversion. Thanks for asking. See you soon!
what's weak link in the following chain (i never see this info anywhere) The Trans stub axle, the CV's, the axle, the wheel stub axle, the wheel hub ? At what HP/TQ and in what order do you upgrade these things? Thank you very much!
Scott, using the 50-state legal engine and engine management system, where do you manage to fit catalytic converters? I don't think I've seen anything showing that. Thanks, Joe
In all states that I know of, the age of the 914 does not require you to have cats...and this includes California. However, as I see you have already commented, we do have a video that shows cats in place. There is lot's of room once you have the engine mounted in the 914. You will see!

I think you would find at least a few more of our videos like this on our TH-cam Channel. This is not our first and certainly won't be our last.
Great Engineering.. Would also love to see a Renegade E version as well.
good stuff -Time to do one for a Boxster :)
