*LYRICS - I Know Who Holds Tomorrow* ------------ I don't know about tomorrow I just live from day to day And I don't borrow from the sunshine For its skies may turn to gray And I don't worry o'er the future For I know what Jesus said And today I'll walk beside Him For He knows what lies ahead Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand But I know who holds tomorrow And I know who holds my hand Well every step is getting brighter As the golden stairs I climb And every burden's getting lighter And every cloud is silver lined Oh there the sun is always shining And there no tear will dim the eye At the ending of the rainbow Where the mountains touch the sky Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand But I know who holds tomorrow And I know who holds my hand Yes I know who holds tomorrow And I know who holds my hand Album: Homesick for a Country
My husband was on hospice 6 wks after his battle with cancer ended & he went to be His Lord & Savior 04/16/22. He was the most loving man & he made everyone happy. So now he is very much missed, but happy he is free of cancer. I was his nurse & wife for only a short time as we met late in life, & married on 02/14/21. We met in Jan 2019. It still seems as if I was with him 33+years even though it was only 3.3 years. In my sadness, I was crying one night & asking God, “why am I still here?” I cried myself to sleep like a baby though I am 78 yrs old. The next morning when I awakened this song , “I don’t Know about Tomorrow “, but I know Who holds my hand , was going through my mind over & over, & I had not heard that song in probably 30 years! I truly believe God gave it to me to help me face tomorrow alone without my beloved Richard Cooper, because now Jesus is still holding my hand. Linda McGuire-Cooper💕
Dear Linda, I am very sorry for your loss and I can understand what you are going through, there are no words that can mitigate your pain. I want to tell you that you are still here because there is a purpose for it, only you cannot understand it yet since God sometimes works in mysterious ways but he will never leave you alone.
Wow! Dear Linda this is so similar to my story. My husband Phil and I we were only together for 2.4 years. Married 1.9. We love and enjoyed each other so much. Our love made everyone around us happy God has used music to comfort and heal the hurt. This song will be a new special for me. Thanks for sharing your story. I always thought I was being selfish or silly about my grief because of the short time we’re together but what you said about the 33 years is true for me too. Holding Jesus hand Robin
Im 67 years old, played bluegrass music, a trucker, raised a family, lost my family to a tragedy, kept the faith but lost my musical soul. Then I heard this. Everything blended and the lower growl of the dobro player and then his upper melody. How you voices blended so gloriously. Thank you!

When I was 11 my family moved to Mongolia, and this was a song they would sing at the church we went to. After only a couple months my family left the country suddenly and we ended up back in the US with no home, no job, and (for me) a million mixed-up emotions. I held onto this song though. All I could remember was the chorus but I would sing it to myself in my head whenever I cried. I'm 24 now and this is the first time I've heard it since those days in Mongolia. It's been a crazy life. I'm so glad I still know who holds tomorrow and holds my hand. Thank you for a beautiful redition of the song!

Geo, the Apostle Peter in Acts 12 was chained between 2 gaurd. Likely going to be executed in the morning. Sleeping so soundly the Angel had to literally smack him in the side to wake him up. What kind of faith is that? If I die I will be with Jesus. If I live I will live telling people about Jesus till they kill me to shut me up, then I will be with Jesus

Thank you, Peterson family, for your wonderful testimony to traditional Christian music - what a great message! I love your harmonies & acoustic passages. This is a song that I grew up with a few decades ago & yet you've brought new life to the music. It is especially timely for me since I recently have been diagnosed & am in treatment for stage 3 cancer. I received Christ as a child, grew up in a Christian home, and yet I find myself in need of encouragement more than ever now. This song is only a reminder that the Creator of the entire universe knows my name, and because His Spirit lives within me, I have hope & peace that only the Lord can provide. He lives within my heart & I may not know what the day may bring, but I know Who brings the day! Scott Nelson

What a spiritual connection this song produces What courage it stirrs in the heart What confidence it ignites in the spirit What commitment it awakens in the soul knowing that whatever comes my way, I know the King holds my hands.

*LYRICS - I Know Who Holds Tomorrow*
------------
I don't know about tomorrow
I just live from day to day
And I don't borrow from the sunshine
For its skies may turn to gray
And I don't worry o'er the future
For I know what Jesus said
And today I'll walk beside Him
For He knows what lies ahead
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand
Well every step is getting brighter
As the golden stairs I climb
And every burden's getting lighter
And every cloud is silver lined
Oh there the sun is always shining
And there no tear will dim the eye
At the ending of the rainbow
Where the mountains touch the sky
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand
Yes I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand

They let the music play itself. Rich.
My daughter had this show up on her cellphone and looked up your song. She had been thinking of her sister whom we lost on August of last year. She sent me your u-tube video and aa I listened to it, my mind went back to my daughter Amanda. Although I cried a lot, this song brought me such comfort. I know my daughter is singing with the Angels and she gave us a sign from Heaven.
Your voices are beautiful and I thank you so much for this song. God bless each one of you.
My dear Mother used to sing this song in Church many times. I miss her, but she is at rest now.
Matt. 6:25-34 “Do not be anxious about tomorrow...Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
John 16:33 “In this life, you WILL have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome this world!”

Your songs, especially, Who Holds Tomorrow, has really blessed my husband and myself while we were waiting for him to go be with the Lord. He left us this past Sunday and God has really touched me over and over with your beautiful words and voices. Thank you!

@@Liz.Newton Thank you!
Katie sings with more soul and heart than anyone on the radio! Love you all!
Perfect harmony, without one drowning out the other. Great self discipline!!
I play this hymn almost every day, and twice or three times a day to catch up for the days I miss.
Seeing the Petersens is on my bucket list.
What a sweet family! You can tell that they really care about each other by the way that they look at one another as they sing.
How can one family (including Emmett) have so much talent, and bring so much joy to my old heart?

James 5:16 reminds us to confess our sins to one another and to pray for each other.
My sweet mom just went on hospice this week, and I found your music when I was searching for hymns to comfort her. This blessed us both, and I could tell she was looking toward the future with peace. Thank you.
One of the best songs Katie does
I love this song. One of my mamas favorite she lived day to day for 97 years. Miss her so much
What a spiritual connection this song produces
What courage it stirrs in the heart
What confidence it ignites in the spirit
What commitment it awakens in the soul knowing that whatever comes my way, I know the King holds my hands.
Love to see a family singing together to a Sovereign God, Who definitely knows and holds our tomorrow. Thank you, Lord.
Praise God, sing it little lady. Tell em who your God is! This really touches my heart to see such beautiful young people serving God! To God be all the glory! Amen

The slight smile at 1:45 of an artist performing a great solo. Absolutely well done Petersens, you all are amazing.
Never had such a lovely feeling listening to someone, pure harmony
The Petersens’music - painkiller pill to soul in every moment.
I first sang this hymn at a friends wedding; unfortunately we did not have the privilege of this beautiful family. You are a blessing to many and an encouragement. Well done, momma; you have brought them up in the knowledge and love of the Saviour.
