Even though it is recommended that you turn from sin, it is NOT a requirement for salvation. Again, i know a true believer will turn from sin AFTER salvation, but allow me to point out the danger in believing otherwise.
You, the believer will fall into believing in WHAT YOU do and NOT WHAT Jesus did.
Yes, share your testimony on how He helped you with things in your life, BUT always remember that it is His Blood Atonement aka Death, Burial, and Resurrection that saves us.

Almost 3yrs after my marriage, things started going the wrong way. The devil was at work in manipulating our minds, so that we cannot be in absolute agreement with each other and work as ONE. God indeed showed up and me and my wife started having open and frank communication each day. Our Love and relationship was renewed by Jesus blood that has the power to save and set free.
