A tip. When putting on the Ultra with the Alpine Loop. Open the Alpine Loop and put the G Hook in one of the loops so that the strap is open as large as it can be. This then makes it really easy to put on. Once you have it on, adjust to your preferred size.
This then TOTALLY stops any chance of the G Hook flinging up and smacking the watch face, watch case.

@@ericb445 The strap must be too small for you, as the strap size you have should be easily able to go over/around your hand on its largest sized loop.
Just don’t be a spaz and you won’t scratch your watch.🤷🏻♂️

I got the stainless steel watch 7 in just it’s normal polished. it’s actually surprisingly held up really nice. The screen looks flawless too with the sapphire.
I made that mistake of getting the wrong size band. I bought the medium when it should’ve been a large. 😪
Get an adult to help you put it on and your Mommy to pick up the watch up off the floor!

I got the Trail Loop with mine.
It’s the Velcro 1 and doesn’t have the hook.
My only concern is how long will the Velcro actually last?!.
Seems like pretty good quality but we’ll see.
There’s always after market bands you can get tho. And the choice is plentiful!
Well so far so good.
Pushing 12 months of daily use for at least 9hrs a day.
I’m a tradey too so it’s not 9+ hrs of easy work.
The band is still going as strong as the day I bought it

if you don't like any words instead of dropping it you can give that to somebody else who need it or who wants it
Just get a case i know the housing of the watch is made of titanium but when im working out i got my spigen 360 degrees clear case around it, one of the least bulky options out there its durable keeps the case scratch free only downside is the screen doesn’t respond as good with the overtop screen protector from the case but thats a trade im willing to take while working out

I just recently got the Ultra 2. I noticed it gets scratches on it much less than my 8 did

Titanium or not before my ultra 2 arrived a case was waiting for its arrival!! The same thing was done for all my Apple and Android devices.

I have a navy blue silicone dive band on my Ultra 2 and they’re easier to take off and clean.

I'm sorry but I'm not buying an apple watch again, it's the third time I've put it in the sea and after a while it dies(not the ultra)...no ticking, I always set it for open sea swimming...too expensive to break every 2 years...personal experience

You can also use common sense and hook a loop near the face of the watch so you can shove you hand through it like a barbarian and not smash it, it will stay hooked to the band and not smash into the face… just saying the loops run all the way up for a reason.
OR… maybe just slow down when you put on your Apple Watch?

This is good advice. I tried on the ultra today in store and both times I out it on that part of the band hit the watch. It must have been the small because I got the medium band with this ultra and it’s much harder to make that mistake.
I have an Apple Watch Ultra too and I have that same band has a little metal thing you feed the strap through but I’ve never noticed any jerking thing or anything like that because I put the watch on and then I tighten the strap up. Another words it’s open and then I slide it over my wrist and then I tightened it up. Never had a problem that way. I have the white Alpine loop on mine. But it’s a great watch
Or if you’re like me who doesn’t do the crazy outside sports like rock climbing or like scuba diving and stuff you could just get the regular Velcro band and it’s really comfortable and not like super tight on your wrists but tight to the point where it doesn’t move or fall or anything

Just get the new ocean band it’s able to custom size so you don’t have this issue

Apple Watches can come in aluminum or stainless steel obviously stainless steel cost more but it also is more durable than aluminum and more resistant getting scratched. I like the size of the ultra watches. I am surprised that Apple doesn’t also sell a 49mm version but I guess they thought it might effect sales of there ultra watches. I don’t think it would cause I would think those buying the ultra are buying it for more than it being bigger
