The big goal is to just get the boom to mega week day one and make a pass. My second goal is to make it to thunder valley and make a clean pass this time. If I can do those two things with out too much hassle I’ll be a happy camper
Let me take a look, I might have a spare right hand bucket we can work something out on (if you are still looking). I gotta dig into the Chevelle parts bin to see what all I've got. Good stuff locking up a Raceweek entry on the early with the sponsor access. If all goes well we'll snag up that standard entry you freed up here in just a couple days when registration opens up.
I’m still in need of a headlight bucket. The more complete the better but if it’s just bare I can get the other parts to complete it. I appreciate it and I’m will to pay for the parts for sure! As soon as this crazy wind stops I’m going to start working on putting the front end on the car.
@@Burndown yeah, I saw how bad the winds have been, and go figure fires. Hopefully it comes down sooner than later. I'm out here in Oklahoma freezin my tail off the last few days (day 3 in a row below freezing and a couple more forecasted). I'll check the parts bin this weekend and see what I've got, we should be back above freezing by then.
@Burndown Same to you. Yep, doing good. Looks like it's time to get a backup argon tank. I have 3 argon tanks and 3 CO2 tanks. Sucks running out and having to stop a project. Even just a 10 or 15 pound nitrous bottle can be used. Just need an argon valve. Plenty of used ones of those, cheap.
@@funfun8095I have a small 80# bottle so I’ll have to dip into that. Yeah I’ll keep an eye out for another bottle so when I switch it over I have time to get more. Usually my buddy has a ton of bottles but i think the holidays got in the way is all.
Do you have a video going over the front 4 link bracket cross member you have in this car? I'm doing a 69 and I'm at that point and wondering which way I should go.
No I do not. I have a video showing it but my friend Jason bent the tube and installed it for me. He’s much better at tube and fab stuff than I am. Hammer concept design is the company that makes killer parts
@@Burndown If I had to guess, I think the question was geared toward the rear sway bar. Reducing the length of the arm of the sway bar itself reduces the mechanical leverage for torsion effectively making the sway bar stiffer. I would think in this case, that's probably a good thing, but I'm no suspension wiz, just have a good understanding of how leverage works.
Fab work like this takes FOREVER it feels like sometimes… it’s looking good man keep plugging away, great job 👏🏻
Little by little
Late night burn downnnn
Sleep is not in your vocabulary

Congrats on getting into mega week.
I had a legacy spot but I’m in with WARR now so I would rather let someone enter the race with my old spot
Looking good!
Thank you Jason!
Great morning buddy

@Burndown Thanks G.
Won't the bar be alot stiffer now?
The whole car is a lot stiffer. If your talking about the roll bar yes it’s a heavy duty bar anyway but yeah should stay flat
