It is a drag that they didn’t do an Atmos remix but I’ve found that using the DTS X: Neural on many of these 4Ks without remixes works great. I watched HEAT last night this way and it was fantastic. I’ll try it again with my EVENT HORIZON disc when it arrives tomorrow. If it’s like the Scream/Shout disc it should work out well. I love how we’re able to add on these enhancements to all of these multi-channel mixes! I used to have this film on laserdisc and the Dolby AC-3 mix would shake the walls of my house!

I was glad to see it sell out almost everywhere. Sure it will restock but that's encouraging for the horror genre getting future 4ks
Amazon put it up for pre-order again and then cancelled them. I hope it gets a restock somewhere as this steelbook is pricey now on ebay.
One of rare times I agree with said movie guy. Underrated sci horror film. Video and audio is great. It's like this relic from the 1990s was reborn. Now, all we need is Bullitt, the Towering Inferno and lastly The donner cut it Superman II on 4k
I know you do an unboxing, but have you considered adding a graded segment for packaging along with the image and audio? I think that would be a great addition to your reviews!
I picked this one up on day one. I think this is one of the scariest sci fi movies ever made. It's a cult gem.
I loved this movie so I have purchased the collectors edition. I'm going to view it tomorrow morning. Haven't watched it for years and never upgraded from DVD so this should be pleasing.

I found it hard to justify spending money on just the 4k scan when I already have the Shout Factory Blu. With this release, they just ported over the same few special features.. with the SF release, there is so much more (including an excellent new scan of the movie) for a true fan.
Great Sci fi film///just got the steel book edition from Amazon
I am def interested in getting this 4K disc (I've never seen the movie but I've heard about it and I wanna watch it because I think I would really enjoy it), but I'm not crazy about the steelbook. Idk if a standard edition will actually come later or not though so idk what to do... :\
This was my modern, when it came out, Hellraiser. What Hellraiser should've been after Hellraiser 3, but here we are
I of course Had to buy this. I now own the original dvd, bluray and the Scream Factory bluray from last year. I'll Of course be watching this for the well over 20th time. Love this movie. Need more Hellraiser,with the caveate that they need to be done properly, on the big screen, not direct to dvd
This is a movie that horrified me when it first came out. Bought this when it came out and finally had the courage to watch it. Wasn't as bad as I remembered.
Reminded me a little of The Black Hole the 1979 Disney science fiction film. This is definitely a darker more intense film
Loved the transfer , but yes , Atmos would have been great addition, as for the movie itself 9/10.

Paul Ws Anderson didn’t direct Resident Evil 2 Apocalypse 2004 or even Resident Evil 3 Extinction 2007 either he only directed 4 out of the Resident Evil movies Alexander Witt directed Resident Evil Apocalypse and Russell Mulcahy directed Resident Evil Extinction
It should have be the director cut version of this movie it sucks that this movie is not the full uncut version
the outer sleeve on my steelbook is terrible. on every edge the hands are misaligned with that edge and on one of the long sides they're just gone/cut short.

That is one disturbing af movie lol. Saw in theatre as well. Even had the original poster hanging on my wall
i wonder if this looks much better than 4k version on itunes? that was a great 4k upgrade.
I did look at the iTunes version briefly. The transfer is pretty close. Audio sounded a tad better on disc.

This fuckin' thing sold out faster than the JAWS 4K. It took 2 days for JAWS to sell out during the full-blown pandemic. I couldn't get a copy ANYWHERE by 3 PM.
Until they recover the lost deleted scenes, i will give it a miss
So much stuff in it is great then the stupid studio intervention ruined it imo. Need to rewatch but yeah. Sad

Starting to see more and more older movies being upscaled barely from 1080p and keeping the same audio track, just another repackaged movie.

It is a joke that they keep releasing 4k versions of older movies without an audio upgrade. Why even bother.... many TVs and projectors can upscale decent blurays to a pretty good image where an upgrade to a 4k image without an audio upgrade isn't worth the money. Just a cheap way for studios to try to make some quick cash.
Terrible art work and no Atmos track I'll stick to my Bluray.
