- Just a simple local freight runby this week - the SPSF B23-S7 "Super 7" is filling in for the CF7/GP7 today and brings a cut of cars from DPC Industries across the Papio Creek Bridge.

Subbed your channel. I like your videos and also like the SPSF paintscheme, so much so that I working on some stock that pays tribute to the Kodachrome for my Trainz Railroad Simulator. The locos and freight cars won't look exactly like that paintscheme but will remind some viewers that the use of colors and style be like the Kodachrome. I would have gotten them done sooner but was held back by other engagements. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Yes, you are correct, I did paint and decal it myself. I really like this paint scheme, but man it is a real pain to do!
Eric, I'm with ya on painting that kodachrome scheme.. I painted one too (SP portion only) about 20+ yrs ago when I wasn't focused on a certain area for my layout (then again I'm still evolving) but I painted over a B&O GP18 into the SP 3739, not prototype but I really liked how it came out.. it's on my IG2OA video.. Eric, thanks for letting Pacific Northwest Resins use your Super 7 to make many more. I ended up with three. The first one will be painted up in Weyerheuaser yellow and black but with Males ZWT trucks, their found under most M-420s.
But I still haven't picked out the motherboard, speakers and such. Whose sound was I listening to? I'm thinking about going with Soundtraxx Dash 9 and tell my friends that it was overhauled before we took delivery of it.

Interesting, I didn't realize Pacific Northwest Resins used my Super 7 as a base. I noticed theirs is different and more accurate to the prototype. On that note, I have been looking for one so I can model another B23-S7 - do you happen to know of any places that sell them?
