Great job! With my PS3 i can play for several hours, but if i turn it off and then on again it will not show image... i have to let it cool and then try again.
I think i have a similar issue, it started as flashing black screens. Going in and out of HDMI display while gaming. Now it doesn't display at all. Can a jumper work for either the 0.387n &/ the 0.508n resistors?
@@idreestech the jumper didn't work for the exact one you changed what do you advice, should I jump the one perpendicular to it. Cuz it failed to boot when I jumped the one parallel to it. My RSX is hot I'm not sure it's a reflow I need
I have ps3 phat cechl with ver-001 board. After start- green light and no image/sound, and no usb voltage. Can i catch errors in this case via uart or i need to manually check board components ?
Im getting something similar its on but not showing any image no signal and stuck on green light hard drive blink but the ps3 fan takes like a minute to be on 😢
@AiNolimits14 It sounds like the HDMI encoder chip might indeed be the issue if there's no display but the console seems to function otherwise. You can confirm it by swapping it with a new one, the encoder chip for any signs of damage or overheating. If faulty, replacing the encoder chip should resolve the issue. @@idreestech then there's another problem the fan started making a big rapid noise like a jet , and it won't let me hold the power button for the second beep
The HDMI flickering and blanking issue on a PS3 (3004A model) can be caused by a few different factors, ranging from HDMI cable issues to hardware problems. The cable might be faulty, so try using a different one. Inspect the HDMI port on both the TV and PS3 for any debris or damage. Sometimes dust or a loose connection can cause flickering. Turn off your PS3, then hold the power button until you hear a second beep. This will reset the display settings, which might fix any resolution or compatibility issues. After resetting, manually set the resolution to match your TV's native resolution (e.g., 1080p or 720p). Sometimes auto-detection can cause flickering if there’s a mismatch. Try connecting the PS3 to a different HDMI port on the TV. Some TV ports may have different processing capabilities that can affect signal stability. Connect your PS3 to a different TV or monitor to see if the problem persists. This can help you identify whether the issue is with the PS3 or the TV. In rare cases, the HDMI flickering can be caused by a faulty HDMI IC on the PS3 motherboard. If none of the above steps work, it could be a hardware issue that might require replacing the HDMI IC chip or inspecting the GPU for possible damage. If the problem continues after trying these fixes, the issue might be hardware-related, and further diagnosis or repair may be required.

Yes, you can definitely buy the resistor! Just make sure to get the correct value based on the schematic or the part you're replacing. It’s a straightforward fix if that’s the issue. Let me know if you need help finding the right one!

Wow great repair job👍 Mr Idrees, i have like four consoles with this exact fault, will chk the bison resistors. Great job
Greetings from Nathan.

im having some similar but wen i apply pressure on cpu, then when not i power on and the green light going off. what could be?
My ps3 slim 3004b turns on for 1 second then off syscon shows error 3010 Do you know ho to fix
That could be a faulty power supply, try to replace it.
Me : Are you having a good time Mr. Idrees?
Him : @4:52
I enjoyed fixing such a mess.😀
This is great job, please how can I can get this reading meter I mean the one for the resistor
If the resistor is bad will it be too hot to touch when the console is on?
I have never experienced like this.

Absolutely, the jumper will serve its purpose.

I measured the 500ohm which shows 450ohm and the 55 ones is correct..do i need to change it? I think 450 is okey..so what causing the issue?
Maybe some other component causes it. It could be the GPU as well. HDmi port or its component.

Try connecting the PS3 to a different HDMI port on the TV. Some TV ports may have different processing capabilities that can affect signal stability.
Connect your PS3 to a different TV or monitor to see if the problem persists. This can help you identify whether the issue is with the PS3 or the TV.

I could not remember all component's values but for some. You have to verify it from another good motherboard.

Then check power section for RSX. Switching inputs on inductors.
Pls my teacher I have super slim PS3 such is the problem like this how to fix it ?
You have to configure the fault. If you have tools, you can do it. I have made some videos on PS 3 super slim too. You can watch them.
