Been wanting and waiting for UK inductor-recorded stuff for years now. I don't have the resources to create my own one myself, but it's good to know someone else who's willing to do it. The many videos you've done so far in the past few weeks are really good (even despite the 450 video with all the interference from the 3rd rail) so thank you for all these!
That's true, but it didn't matter which motor I chose because I'm using a 1H coil. It picks up flux from trains from hundreds of meters away. So regardless, you still would detect the other 465s clearly. Simple science.
@@ItsYa165 100s of meters..tf!! Crazy science if you ask me . But at the same time tbh I can hear 465 BRELs like 1 mile away from my house when they are at speed.
@@ItsYa165 also ......given the nature of inductor coils...I'd love to hear the 465 BRELs ...if you have any recordings 😬💁🏾♂️ that recording must sound wacky at first.
I have a question regarding the equipment used to make this: would I be able to connect the telephone pickup coil to my phones headphone jack as a microphone instead of spending a bit of money on an audio recorder (like the one you used)?
No idea, but it won't be hard to work them out - this is so clearly rendered that it essentially looks like a manufacturer's pulse chart from a technical manual.

The 450 was alright because it doesn't really need to be clear, we all know the spiel from the 350.
@@ItsYa165 Pretty much since essentially both trains are the same thing but modified in their own rights.
Absolutely brilliant! Where about did you stand/sit to get this signal? I tried it before but weirdly I got no signal throughout the whole carriage
There are miving drotors at leading and trailing ends
Nice video, how would you go about recording this? (like equipment wise)
In the description it says
Some of the Class 465 have Hitachi traction motors which sound similar to the Class 395 Javelins.
Similar but not the same. Ebara Express has inductor recordings of both on YT, please watch
It’s the same on the Class 466 I think. With some of the Class 465 have Hitachi traction motors that sound similar to the Class 395 Javelin.
Yes it's the same on the 466
Yep
4:33
Hitachi traction sound from the next car?
Yes
Yep very bizzare sounding. Also yep this means he sat near the drivers end where the BREL 465 joined onto the met cam

I wouldn't know. Try it and find out

Oh yes, the good'ol 465
plusly what were the Sync modes?

I made the mistake of not putting the waveform gain up so you can see it in the video but oh well
@@ItsYa165 no bother
Thinking 300Hz, 11P, 9P, 7P, 5P, 3P, Wide 3P, 1P from what I discovered
@1191_MONO many appreciatings
Is this for a upcoming update to the Class 465 sound patch for TSW5?
Not particularly. Non of these videos are in any way related to TSW.
