This is not AI written content. If you were looking for detailed design differences then, yes that sort of information is not available. This was simplified information explaining the differences.
Slip rings appear circular sections wrt rotor cylinder and would 3 rings or 6 rings or 9 rings depending on rotor current. This illustration was showing rotor core and they are not slip rings.
kinda looks like stock footage of a DC motor assembly. An induction motor can have slip rings, but not always. A couple of terms for you to look up are "wound rotor motor" and "squirrel cage motor". Both are induction motors, but work in vastly different ways.
Great 👍
Absolutely no info on how the motors are different. Is this written by AI?

Then downvote teh video!
Great
At 2:29 you show a motor that looks like it has a commutator. For an induction motor I'd expect to see slip rings if anything. Am I wrong?

@@surgepulse2778 ... Is that a commutator though? (I understand and agree with your comment on the 3-, 6- or 9 rings)
It is not commutator

@@surgepulse2778 @ 2.29. That is definitely a "COMMUTATOR". What you have shown is an armature from either a DC motor or a DC Generator.
👍👍👍
Vague theory no real info.
Thanks for watching. The video description explains the contents.
5 minutes wasted for no information what so ever...
We’re glad that you spent 5 minutes of time & watched the full video. Thanks a lot 😇
