Any idea if the SD card 'has to be' a 512GB SD card? (which is stated in Canon's instructions) or can it be done on a 256GB SD card? Thanks so much.
Could you please tell me how to shoot in TV on Canon R5C ? On my Canon R5 I could use Tv mode shutter speed priority button I’m still couldn’t figure it out how to do it on R5C
Make sure the R5C is in PHOTO mode. Then hit the MODE (7) button on the top of the camera. This will bring up a list of shooting options which will include Tv mode. Have a great day

Dude, did you not read the instructions? All of the R5c firmware updates (and R5 as far as I know) are done from the SD… never the Cfast. This isn’t a quirk… it’s user error 😂.
I made this video, because I have received dozens and dozens of frustrated questions from my viewers about this. Most people using the R5C instinctively use the CFExpress card as their primary card, and then get frustrated with this process. This is who I made the video for. The instructions also never explicitly state that you can NOT use a CFexpress card. This may be a known and obvious fact to some, but not to everyone. 'm just doing my part to help folks out.
