Just played with some friends tonight. The game is a lot of fun, especially when you think you've got another player figured out just to find out they have been lying the entire round. It's a lot like Love Letter in that it's fast, cheap, portable, and easy to learn. Thanks for the tips!

Isn't that the worst!? Great strategy on their part to lie the whole time and cash in on it at the end. Love letter's a blast too.

"Looking at one's cards is a crutch, for players who rely on skill" Great video!

You're not hard core unless you live hard core.

What are some of the craziest things you've seen happen while playing Coup??

For me it was having all 4 out of 5 inquisitors for coup: reformation. My friend thought I was lying but when I showed I was telling the truth I laughed at him for so long. He deserved it too since he likes to trash talk a lot since he's more advanced than me.

@@kristopherhayes486 I actually haven't played the expansion! Sounds like fun, need to get it

Are people more likely to want to kill or challenge you if you have the inquisitor? I bought the expansion coup: the reformation. I would imagine that they would since the inquisitor is able to gain information on the opponents by looking at one of their cards, thereby reducing the amount of bluffing a person can do.

Honestly there's good reason to want to kill/challenge any player that performs an action against you, regardless of the power. So inquisitors likely will ruffle enough feathers to make them a target. Assassins generally do too though. If I get assassinated, I want to coup that person back lol.

@@hardyhousegames fair enough but what exactly happens when you challenge an inquisitor? I was a little confused on the rules for that one.
