- The plaintiff brings his ex-girlfriend to court. He says the defendant, who doesn’t have a license, stole his truck and totaled it. He also claims the defendant hacked his email and sent a threatening letter, causing him to get arrested. The plaintiff is suing for the cost of the truck. The defendant argues the truck was hers, so she doesn’t owe him.

This went way south. How was even able to sue if there’s an order of protection?
You can still sue a person even with a protection order. You have to pay a constable to have them served and notify the court about the order specifications. Usually, they will have a court officer keep the parties separate and allow them to leave the courthouse at separate times.
I felt the defendant’s attitude as soon as she walked in.

I dealt with the same crap when I left my ex-husband. It’s crazy how these abusers are all the same. Ladies, if a man purposely breaks your stuff, LEAVE. Later down the line instead of it being a tv or phone, it’ll be your face.

Exactly! I dealt with an obsessed ex husband and I never did anything I thought would make him upset. The 5yr restraining order I had expired 4 yrs ago and until this day, I tread very lightly about doing anything that could make him fly off the handle again.(we have a 16yr old, so I don't communicate with him directly but I still make sure I'm careful)

the Judge did the right thing. She should not be contacting that man at all. Also, the Judge did not pick that man for her, she picked that man and she picked poorly.
It like the judge says this is the things you read in the paper. She have to show some tough love because what always happen is the girl call him or go see him one more time and he snap and kills her. She need to never talk or call him ever again.

Despite his kindness, she exploited him. Furthermore, she was aware of her lack of a driver's license and the harm it could cause him. This woman is truly malicious. Gross
