Great video, you might have actually convinced me to buy this set. I think one thing that would really have put this over the top would be two scaled tie fighters around it in lieu of minifigs. On “accuracy”, the charm of LEGO versions is they are reproductions, NOT replicas. There is a huge difference and people often underestimate how much a LEGO creation benefits from its unique style. I really like that you put this set in the context of $/pc and $/gram for perspective. These set ABSOLUTELY should have included mini figures. Not just one, 2 minimum. For example, the Falcon can have [Han and Chewbacca], the Tantive IV could have [Leia and R2D2], and the Invisible Hand can have [Grievous and Dooku]. Also missed in the cons section: - gaps - flimsy - bulky
I bought this set recently and along with the Super Star Destroyer I love it, it's a sad fact that as I got older and more financially comfortable whilst I can afford the more expensive sets I don't have the space to display them where I want to, my UCS Millennium Falcon and AT AT are stuck in the corner of my mini gym in the loft and my Venator is still in the box. These smaller sets are great for me, looking forward to C3P0 and the new Star Destroyer sets.
This guy puts more effort into the editing of his videos than most I've seen, and it still has only a couple hundred views and a few dozen likes. TH-cam is really screwing you over here

Starship collection from star wars one of greatest idea i realy want to see miniscale venator. Go them all and millennium and star destroyer are awesome. And great minifigure for sw funs on theire working deck
Love your video's. For me, i have the SSD and will one day get tantive.. the falcon is too iconic rebel skum for my tastes :) I don't have any version of this ship and given star wars in 2024 will probably never do.
I think leaving out a minifig was a very intentional choice on Lego's part, as these sets are in the right price range for larger playsets, and including figs might have lead to confusion and disappointment from parents and kids.
Nope it isn’. Accuracy means how close the literal shaping is, the details, the colors. Resemblance is whether or not it’s recognizable, and whether or not it captured the overall essence well enough.

Is there a darker color version? I saw two boxes at Walmart and they boxes had a lighter color and a darker color. Can someone confirm if this is just a box printing mistake or are the actual legos different colors.

I just built this set. It’s perfect. Good price (got a slight discount on it despite it being so difficult to find unless you pay full price), accurate, looks stunning, and it doesn’t occupy a lot of display space. The only minor ever so slightly cons is really the (lack of a) minifigure.

It’s not 18+ because of the building experience. It’s because it’s made for display. Not necessarily to play with, hence no minifigures.
